Am I the only one who on the other hand just gets exhausted from school and absolutely hates it, but on the other hand I can't stop thinking about other girls and women who can't go to school because they're not allowed to.
It always makes me realize how lucky I am that I was born in a Western country and not in countries where women have (almost) no rights, but it is still so unfair why this even exists in 2025 (!). That there are still not equal rights for everyone everywhere in the world. Even the 'richer' countries know what is going on, but are doing absolutely nothing to stop it.

First, he used dehumanizing and infantilizating language to insist people with autism won't 'pay taxes and live a 'normal life' which we all know is ableist bullshit and is literally a precursor to genocide. Rafah was supposed to be a safe zone. The world has failed Palestinians in many ways, and it continues to be beyond horrifying. The Super Bowl usually reaches over 100 million viewers every year, and I just saw the advertisement the IOF displayed in advance the other day to 'release the hostages.' They're calling it a 'Gaza hostage awareness video campaign' while they're mercilessly bombing Palestinian people to severe injury or death. A genocide is going on, and Israel is committing ethnic cleansing. The IOF are nothing but settler-colonial terrorists, but the world is being fed a message that they are innocent.
I hope the IOF falls to the greatest depths of despair and experiences tenfold what Palestinian people and children have.

As we come together to celebrate the achievements of women throughout history, it’s important to remember the ongoing struggles women across the world are facing.
Today, let’s keep a special focus on all of our sisters of color, queer sisters, trans sisters, Palestinian sisters, working class sisters, disabled sisters, and sisters struggling with reproductive Justice.
We must not forget where we come from, and we must remember who we are working to protect now. I hope you all have a wonderful day - and pass along some kind words to the wonderful women in your lives!

In Palestine, more than 9,000 women have been brutally killed by the Israeli Occupation. 63 women killed per day.
In Sudan, 4 million Sudanese women & girls are at risk of sexual violence.
In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, more than 1 million women have been survivors of sexual violence.
In Turtle Island aka the so called USA, 94% of fatal violence committed again Trans people are committed against Trans women.
This isn’t about the stats, the poverty porn or the constant shock doctrine the West desperately needs in order to be inclusive. This is a call for solidarity and collective action.
Access to feminine hygiene products, bodily autonomy and the access to necessary safe and caring spaces as women are all human rights.

When I told my relatives that I’m an engineering major, they basically freaked out and nagged about how as a female, I shouldn’t pick something so “macho” and that I wouldn’t be able to handle the workload. The same thing happened to my female classmates.
One factor that influences the use of the labels “soft science” or “hard science” is gender bias, according to recent research my colleagues and I conducted.
Women’s participation varies across STEM disciplines. While women have nearly reached gender parity in biomedical sciences, they still make up only about 18% of students receiving undergraduate degrees in computer science, for instance.
In a series of experiments, we varied the information study participants read about women’s representation in fields like chemistry, sociology and biomedical sciences. We then asked them to categorize these fields as either a “soft science” or a “hard science.”
Across studies, participants were consistently more likely to describe a discipline as a “soft science” when they’d been led to believe that proportionally more women worked in the field. Moreover, the “soft science” label led people to devalue these fields—describing them as less rigorous, less trustworthy and less deserving of federal research funding.
