Still using they/them after finding out someone's pronouns doesn't include they/them is misgendering
If someone specifies that they don't use they/them, don't use it. That's misgendering them.
Using they/them after someone has specified that they don't use they/them is misgendering
If you continue to use they/them after learning that they don't use it. You are misgendering them.
They/them is misgendering if you know their pronouns (and it doesn't include they/them)
Again for the people in the back,

Hello, my names dejon or whatever else. Today Iâm here to once again go through an important reminder to all fandoms.
â¨Etiquetteâ¨
For some of the younger ones here or smooth brains, hereâs the definition..,
(You understand now? Good!)
To be apart of a fandom doesnât just mean for you to run around and do whatever. That is not what we do here!
â˘Artist
Be polite , comment something encouraging or positive about their art. EXP: âI really love the color schemeâ or âyour Ocâs are so cool!â. (Some may allow for more âcolorfulâ remarks but not everyone )
DO NOT!! Harass artists to draw you or your OC for free, even if youâve known that person for a long time. They are not obligated to do anything!
Itâs okay to talk about an artistâs character but if itâs only ever lustful thoughts, keep it to yourself bud. Promise you that even some nsfw artists donât wanna hear it.
Tracing is a bit iffy. If youâre trying to improve or find an art style then itâs okay, just donât post it or claim itâs yours. (I know everyone has their views on this but ya know weâve all did it at one point) ďżź
[ Racism/homophobia/transphobia arenât welcomed at all! Common sense would tell ya otherwise to not make anyone feel less or uncomfortable! ]
Some artists like to be anonymous, the amount of times Iâve seen family/friends/long time followers find their art page and comment their name is alarming. EXP: âOmg ____ I didnât know you were so talented!â , if you value privacy donât do this.
Remember to idk block or scroll if you donât like (legal) shipping/self-shipping/ OC x canon. Itâs been around for decades people! Itâs not going anywhere.
Theres a bunch more but Iâll just make a part two later or tomorrow. Remember , donât be a d1ckhead
Donât.Â
Thatâs it.Â
This has been a PSA
For those of you who want to lock all of your works with all the silly AI scraping of AO3 (which AO3 is recommending you lock your works, as stated in this post)
Here is a quick and easy guide of how to edit ALL of your works at once.
From your Dashboard click on âedit worksâ on the far right. This will bring up all of your works that you can select.
Select all the works you want to edit, then hit âEditâ at the bottom right.
Scroll to nearly the bottom of the page where you find âVisibilityâ and select âonly show to registered usersâ and then update at the bottom.
Thatâs it, all of your works have now been locked without having to go in and edit each fic individually.
I hope this helps!
ok kids repeat after me
vinegar and bleach makes chlorine gas, which is highly toxic
ammonia and bleach makes chloramine, which is highly toxic
rubbing alcohol and bleach makes chloroform, which is highly toxic
hydrogen peroxide and vinegar makes peracetic/peroxyacetic acid, which can be highly corrosive
be careful about your cleaning products and dont get yourself injured or potentially killed ok
Iâm dead fucking serious. Our lives literally depend on it. We have no time to wonder if we should fight back or not. Because we absolutely should!
update: Iâve received an email from Redbubble stating that the product has been removed for now, though apparently they can submit a âcounterclaimâ. But since theyâre blatantly stealing, hopefully they wonât want to drag this mess even further.
So i just found my work being stolen and sold on Redbubble by this user called Neko Noelle.Â
Oh, the thief is also selling works by other artists but I donât recognize a lot of themâŚ.plus a deathnote journal where they literally ripped off the death note logoâŚ.=_=;;.Â
Also, Please note that I do NOT sell my work anywhere at all (except maybe really old ones on my deviantart. but nothing new in the last 2 years).Â
I'm telling you. Read books. There's an entire world of dead useful knowledge contained. There are so many books that have a TON of useful information while also being easier to read than textbooks.
Listen, I know the internet's gone to pieces. Misinformation is practically the only thing you can be certain of with any search engine.
But books.
I mean yeah, there are books that are inaccurate. Or outdated. But for the most part, if someone cares enough to compile so much information on a subject together into a book, they care enough to make sure it's right. After all, it's not so easy to edit it like a blog once it's published. They're not spending so much time and labor putting together random units of information they stumbled across on the internet. They're doing this with genuine research and careful time and knowledge.
Let me emphasize one more time that there are so many books with real information that are NOT COLLEGE TEXTBOOKS (though those can be incredible sources of information too!). There is real information out there in very easy to process formats if you're willing to open a book and thumb through the index, table of contents, or even just all the pages.
...I mean, it does require us to care a little bit. It's certainly not as fast and convenient as a quick internet search. But it is so much more reliable, and if you care to know more about a subject I think it's important to care enough to get some solid information about it and not just a once-and-done.
Side note, did you know the Dewey Decimal System has a number for everything? Actually everything? Want to pick up a book on crochet or leatherworking? Dewey's got you. Learn about moths? Yup. Politics? Public speaking? Languages? Writing? Architecture? Librarians have master's degrees specifically so they can help you find things in the DDS (and also for other reasons but ya know).
