“Huntah?”

Hunters ears picks up as the little blonde girl Omega comes into the marauder after a visit with you, Omega would always be with you whenever he or the guys were too busy to watch omega as they help around the village of Pabu.

Ever since they came to visit Pabu months ago and during the Tsunami and rebuilding on Pabu Island they had met you.

You had given them a thank you gift of baked goods from your family’s bakery on upper Pabu which was greatly and safely unharmed from the Tsunami disaster, Hunter never thought you would come into his life, or even knew about it, there was something of you that made him think of you more often than a friendly relationship you both had grown. But he didn’t really overthink it that much

Omega would always go to your family’s bakery to make sweets and such, you always welcome her in as you both make a mess in the kitchen or either make a delicious treat to share with others. He once tried a treat yourself and Omega had created when he went to visit.

But whenever you would go visit them and hand him a treat, he would feel his knees numb up when his eyes would trace the outlines and contour of your face… the way the sun hits your eyes and skin making a soft glow over them… your smile… the light tint on your face when he compliments you… you…

You. You. You. You. You. You—

“Hunter?”

He immediately snapped out of his thoughts of you and felt his face flush red as he looked at Omega, he hoped omega won’t question.

“Yeah, kid?”

He asked the small clone girl as he runs his trembling hand over his flustered face, the face of a man being caught in his thoughts.

Omega raised a brow and step fully into the marauder, reading his face and seeing her brother in his state of embarrassment.

“I just came back from hanging around with (Y/n), are you okay? You look red…”

Kriff.

He rubs his face again and sighed before looking at Omega, he knew he was caught and regrets it.

“Nothing to worry about kid, you go wash up for bed, it’s already late don’t you think?”

“But it’s the afternoon—“

“You heard me.”

Omega groans and walks to the small room in the haul of the marauder to pick her clothes up and head up to the small refresher of the ship, making a sarcastic salute before saying.

“Sir yes sir…”

Hunter huffs a soft chuckle though his nose, he couldn’t believe of how long it’s been… Omega had changed and he wished nothing will ever change that.

“Come on Hunter!”

He looks around the area, a breeze of wind in his way as he watched Omega run with Wrecker through the beach, Tech and Echo talking about whatever they had in mind, the scent of the ocean filled his senses in is nose…

And a soft hand, smaller compared to his large and rough calloused hand brushing his.

He looked down to see you in a white dress, shoulders bare and feet against the sand, your sandals in your occupied hand as you weaved your hand in his, he squeezed your hand softly and smile down at you.

“Hunter…?”

“Yeah…?”

You look up at him and smile, your mouth opens to say something until he felt a jab on his side.

“HUNTER!”

He jolted up and saw that Omega was waking him up, he groaned and rubbed his face with his hand and look at Omega with a moody look.

“What kid…?”

Omega smiles and points at the small plate of treats on one of the built in tables of the marauder.

“She brought us food this morning, you should’ve seen her! She was wearing a pretty floral dress and she had a hibiscus in her hair! She was so pretty!”

His eyes went wide as she said of your visit, he missed a precious moment and you had already gone.

“Why didn’t you wake me? I could’ve said hi or something”

Omega shook her head and picked up a cupcake from the plate with a white and blue frosting covering the vanilla cake under, with a small coat of pearl candies on it.

“I was about to when she came over, she said it was okay and she didn’t want to disturb your sleep.”

Hunter felt his face grow a light shade a pink.

You’re too sweet for me…

As Hunter thought Omega started to notice signs…

Her brother was in love with you.

She smirked after she finished her cupcake before throwing it in the trash, she began to head to the ramp of the marauder but Hunter spoke up.

“And where do you think you’re going?”

Omega shrugged her head and adjusted her blue jacket and took a step out before running out. Hunter sighed and shook his head before standing to stretch.

As he stretched his back he spoke.

“What is she up to…”

Seeing the very obvious Autistic trait Tech experiences was such a gamechanger for me, I was absolutely ecstatic to see how perfectly well it was worded in the new episode. Im so happy I got to see some of myself in star wars🫶

guyysss the tears haven’t stopped 😀it’s been like three hours😀😀😀 im so fucking sad man, the ending was beautiful- literally so lovely, but my heart is broken that my favorite characters stories have ended. My favorite man ever is old and gray (still a mega dilf tho I need him sooo bad) but he’s aging :(( and he has to watch his little girl go :((( like man. im so emotional. like stoppp it hurtssss omg :((( it was such a perfect ending to a perfect show, I couldn’t be more pleased- but im still SO SADDDD I cannot rewatch this episode EVER (only rewatching the free Hunter whimper audio scene that shit was fire)

Writing some Sith Hunter things. He’s a little crazy but that’s ok !! Insanity gives spice !!

Wrecker is also a Sith, he’s just (surprisingly) not as unhinged.

(Hunter cannot stand the voices, Wrecker has no idea what bro is talking about ???)

*if yall are wondering, yes, Hunter and wrecker have been force sensitive since they were cadets in this AU, however, tech isn’t. Crosshair is *slightly* force sensitive, but not nearly as much as the other two.

Also, Wrecker and Hunter believe Omega, Crosshair, and Tech, are all dead. They “watched them die”, and kinda tapped into the dark side subconsciously as a treat (they don’t know they are still alive, they can hardly feel their presence anymore (what the dark side does to a mf))

Echo got separated from all of them(thinks they are all dead), but is trying to locate the “ghost” and “wraith”, two force sensitive beings who have been slaughtering the Empires forces. (Surprise !! Crazy Hunter and Less crazy Wrecker jumpscare !!)

CROSSHAIR MIGHT KNOW THAT TECH IS AN OPERATIVE (SPECIFICALLY THE ONE HE WAS THROWING HANDS WITH)

OK LIKE HEAR ME OUT BUT

Crosshair definitely is STILL hiding something. The operatives make him MADLY uncomfortable- the sense of strange brotherhood between them scares him more than anything we’ve seen so far, maybe because, well, loyalty is a big deal to him, but also because one of them may actually be his brother.

He did not mention he was being put through operative✨ pre school ✨until Howzer pressed for answers, and he was forced to spill some beans. But I don’t think that’s all he’s keeping secret. Like, he wanted to keep the operative as FAR away from his brothers as possible(ie, drawing fire away, 1v1ing)- why? Could it just be he wants to deal with these clones on his own? Spare his brothers the fight? Protect them?

Or is it because he doesn’t want to traumatize them further with a brainwashed Tech? He doesn’t want their memory of their “dearly departed” brother to be marred by this…hollow, empty assassin before him. He can’t do that to them. But he *knows*, and it’s eating him alive.

There’s still so much he’s keeping from everyone, and not even Omega knows what he witnessed on Tantiss. He knows things, and he’s too afraid to admit them.

I can see it now, Hunter sacrifices himself, but before he does, he tells Crosshair that “I know you’ll protect her. I trust you.” And then he fucking DIES, content with knowing Crosshair can be her newfound dad and protect her when he can no longer do so (I am in pain).

Hunter’s eyes darkened, Wreckers eyes darkened, they both clenched their fist, their posture straightens because that’s a threat. He has been trying to kill them EVERY TIME they have met. OF COURSE they would respond that way to the man who betrayed them (EVEN WHEN THE CHIP WAS NO LONGER WORKING).

He is definitely afraid of hurting her. Bloodlust is built into the curse, and sometimes, his instincts become difficult to quell. It’s in moments such as these, that he has to take certain measures to ensure he doesn’t do anything he’ll come to regret.

Werewolf Lore

Some stuff about the loth-werewolves in my fanfiction, and their history concerning the dark side/their origin!

A “curse” created by an ancient Sith Lord, who experimented on loth wolves from lothal in her laboratory on a moon deep in the territory of the Sith Empire. She was well versed in Sith alchemy more so than combat.

She wanted to serve the empire by providing it with soldiers that were made for dispatching force users specifically, and she had always been fascinated with the mysterious and archaic loth wolves who had been observed to have some connection to the force.

Using prisoners of war, volunteers, and kidnapping random civilians, she tested her experiments on many different species, including: togruta, Twi’lek, human, Sith, ugnaught, chiss, etc

Not everyone survived the transformations, and many died

The successful ones were studied excessively

However, the Sith and her apprentice mysteriously went missing, and it is believed her own creations destroyed her

Some cursed people escaped, and inevitably the curse spread to some extent in the outer rim.

Curiously, the loth wolves and loth werewolves all declined in number, and many infer that the Jedi set out to dispatch them in secret, however, the true reason is unknown.

Obviously, some remained.

Details on the curse

Most information about the werewolf illness is hidden in the deepest crypts of the Jedi archive, and is inaccessible to the public. Some information can be gathered from questionable sites on the Holonet, and old folktales.

Transformations are very, very painful. Most people do not survive the first shift. Only the strongest survive- a byproduct of the Sith’s lust for power.

Can be transmitted through bites(it’s in the saliva).

Transformations can be triggered by: a full moon, force sensitives nearby, and intense emotions (anger, rage, hate, sadness, aggression/agitation, anxiety/stress, and even extreme joy). This makes having a normal life exceedingly difficult.

There are rumors that “wolfsbane”, an alien herb, may have some effect on them, but the exact effect is unknown.

In human form, the werewolf may have intense cravings for meat. Additionally, non-meat foods are revolting, and become difficult to keep down.

As a human, they gain increased sight, smell, taste, and hearing. They are also more prone to out bursts of anger. Again, a byproduct of the nature of the Sith.

Space travel is almost impossible to achieve without randomly turning, and is very annoying to go through. Sometimes, though, a trip may be void of shifting, if they are lucky.

In their wolf form, they become violent and have an insatiable hunger. They have little to no memory of what they do in this state.

However, there is a possibility that the rational human mind can break free, and regain control.

Werewolves are very big and tall, but when on all fours, are slightly smaller than regular loth wolves.

Werewolves lack the pack mentality Loth Wolves have.

A couple days or even hours before a full moon, the person may experience fever-like symptoms and body aches.

Werewolves have hands and fingers, which can grasp things and even open doors! Yay!

As a result of being infected by the curse, the midichlorian count in their blood slightly increases. They cannot use the force, but are more resistive to force attacks and can track down force users easily.

In human form, they have longer than normal canines, and have tapetum lucidium at night.

There are rumors of a cure

The Jedi refuse to talk about the werewolves

The galaxy assumed werewolves were just cool, fictional horror stories

The wilderness makes werewolves have more feral, violent behavior, but they are least likely to attack a human in the open expanse of the woods.

It can be genetically transferred (ie: you have kids, or you get cloned; most likely, the clone is a werewolf, and so is your kid)

Planets that have a strong darkside presence may cause a werewolf to shift. Planets with a strong lightside presence also provoke shifting, but the werewolf may become violently ill.

Werewolves have increased rates of healing, which make them incredibly difficult to kill.

Silver has no effect on them.

Hunter hates everything about being a werewolf lol.

The increase in his senses coupled with his enhanced mutation is not tasty.

I was doing some anatomy practice but, tragedy struck and it turned into Hunter in like, a poncho thing 🧍‍♀️🧍‍♀️🧍‍♀️ totally a mistake guys you gotta believe me.

When the Batch crash land on the outer rim planet of Sorgan, they discover things are not what they seem. Hunter, having been separated and injured from the crash, must fight to defend himself from a creature born of the hatred of the Sith, seeking to spread its beastly curse to the next vessel- himself. Now forced to deal with the excruciating and dangerous ailment, the Batch and Hunter must find a cure all the while evading the Empire, who will do whatever it takes to make him their next weapon.

I feel like Tech would definitely try his best to research everything about the dark side of the force and Sith alchemy, mostly to find anything that can help cure his brother (and, of course, just because it’s very interesting to read about and he genuinely enjoys learning new things). But the content he’s delving into is probably less than appropriate for children, especially considering all the violence, dismemberment, etc, (you know, Sith things) that are all over his research. Spooky stuff, and not meant for Omega, lol.

I also think it would be pretty curious if the Jedi and the republic destroyed or kept all Sith documents pertaining to werewolf stuff under heavy security(Tech can get through (probably.. maybe) but it’s gonna be a hassle). Honestly, they might’ve just destroyed everything about the Sith and their discoveries as a way to purge their influence from the galaxy, but I think they could’ve kept a few things, right? *wink wink*

Finally, there’s Hunter writhing in agony 👍. Werewolf transformations are not pleasant, that is for sure.

The transformations run on a full moon cycle, and should occur once a month. However, during space travel, they become spontaneous and unpredictable, making intergalactic transportation a rather grueling and painful experience(trust me, he’d know).

(Cid would bully him about being a wolf man thing but in all honesty, she does feel bad for him 💀)

It’s difficult being a space werewolf- you never know if the planet you’re going to has a full moon or not. Makes not destroying your clothes a lot harder.

ALSO- he usually has control when hes in his werewolf form (besides the first night 🗿that’s also the day he destroyed his armor lmao, now he gets the new drip in season 2) but since it’s a curse created by an ancient Sith Lord, and he is supposed to be a dangerous beast, sometimes he’ll have darker urges that become difficult to quell(such as slaughtering normal ppl and attacking force sensitives lmao).
