Honestly this didn't start out as my favorite but I gotta say, this drawing has suddenly grown on me, besides is Rado, the BOY!! I think it's his face, the way I draw him is just squish lol

*ahem* Soooo...I did this on my Ipad if it isn't obvious, I actually really like this lol.

There honestly isn't too much to say about this, like Jersey was a slight scene kid in the early 2000s and basically DIY'ed everything he is wearing, did I make it obvious enough that he is a Devils fan?

The red and green is a heavy call back to the original jerseys the Devils used, which I lovingly call the Christmas Jerseys, and clearly I went VERY heavy with that lol

The other side of the hat has a Rutgers patch instead of the Devils one you can see, this would have been when the Rutgers football team was doing pretty good I think soooo ya know, I felt it was important to mention.

I think this is like such a fun dynamic, whether it's shipped or just their normal bullshit (personally I don't ship them but I can agree with those who do ship them, they are very cute together)

They are arguing about who gets the backyard probably, a very common argument once the baseball season pops up I'd imagine (and I am), half the time the only reason they stop is because of a meeting lol

Did I really get bored enough to draw the whole NE...yes, yes I did. I regret nothing though I hate the fact that my hand hurts now, that sucks XD

This was just a random idea I had. In my brain Central Jersey is the Jersey that shows the most, problem is is since CJ is so...let's go with disconnected, with the rest of the country he gets overwhelmed, and sure North could just switch in and South could do the same if they all wanted to scare the others with a southern accent that has the slang of the California coast, but watching a place that doesn't exist (it totally does btw) is way funnier.

Besides, by now all the other states that aren't the OG13 think that New Jersey has brown-looks red in certain light-eyes and it would scare the devil out of 'em if they see the red eyes that North actually has (and considering it's HIS body, it is far to tempting).

Also is it obvious that I love the idea that it's the Jersey's and not just Jersey, like I live here, if it's one singular state then I'm from Pennsylvania (I may have been born there but I sure as heaven ain't from there). Jersey would be three different states if we wanted to be associated with the rest of the country more than we already are, that and we may not agree on things but we don't HATE each other, we leave that for the rest of the country (plus let's be real, central wouldn't exist and then what would north and south argue about?)

Anyway as a proud Centralian looking at the news of the rest of the country is overwhelming, I just want to go skating, to the arcade, and continue lovin our favorite Devil, and down the shore when it's nice (and no, down don't mean literally down, though normally we are going down).

Look at him!!! THIS IS MY BOY!!!!! I am a PROUD Centralian and I would be DAMNED if I didn't draw him with animals. You would be surprised at how many of these I have actually seen or heard about being near by.

(Also yes that is a Gator, we don't natively have them but there was one here for like 2 weeks, still surprised he was in central and not the swamps down south because...actually I feel like that's obvious)

Oh look, what a surprise, a drawing from mwah. It's just the boys, NJ stole Rhodes hat and then had his taken by Del. Also yes Jersey is that much taller than them, I meant to put their heights but oops, Rhodes like 5'2 Dels 5'3 and Jerseys 5'8 so take that as you will.

Since there’s no hockey for you for 10 days, could you draw a state maybe playing hockey?

So I wanted to get this done immediately, went onto Pinterest for references because while I never use them, references would be the only way I could do this, got distracted looking at hockey memes, went and bothered my father and here we are now...oops?

It's not the best but considering I really didn't have a reference pic for this exact pose, I gotta say I think I did pretty well :D

Awww I'm glad you like the style, also yes I'm pretty much always doing this, they never close. Went with New Mex by the pool, in the middle of winter (not like he cares).

I am so sorry this took so long, I had so much trouble figuring out what to do for some reason and then by the time I had time to draw I had to do something else because I said I would. Anyway here, in the end I'm glad that I took time to think this one over cause it's kinda cute won't lie :D

I probably could have done more but honestly I think this is good, simple but effective. I'll probably end up changing out the crown for something else later on but I think it works for now. I actually really like the design, now I have an excuse to draw Nevada and New Jersey together LOL

So I actually drew them yesterday but didn't end up posting it cause its on a bigger WTTT page. It started out as just Jersey but then I wanted to draw New Mexico as well, and then I somehow had all four of them on the page.

I have the slight headcanon that they are all related in some way, like NJ and NY are brothers and NM is NJ's cousin but not NY's and NH is NY's cousin (or brother idk) but not NJ's. I don't know it seemed like a funny concept to me.

I saw this idea floating around that NM was raised by the NorthEast and I love that idea so like that is probably why NJ and NM are cousins...probably..ya know I hadn't actually thought too hard about it lol

Here have a quick NJ sketch. Wanted to draw Jersey again but its late, however I did not care enough to not do this so here, long hair NJ. I feel like his hair would either be like perfectly taken care of, like to an obsessive degree, or a complete and utter forest, damaged beyond repair(sorta anyway) probably because of Hurricane Sandy, I have decided that there is no in between, so I suppose this one is the actually taken care of version?
