🔥 SAPNAP START SCREEN: THE PROCESS 🔥
Here’s all the shots not included in the final!
Some were scrapped, either because the animation was too complicated (like dancing ðŸ˜ðŸ’€) or I couldn’t find a way to make it transition smoother into the next.
Some were changed like the pokeball throw, jettnap, and skateboard into a more dynamic shot!
My favorite scenes were the ASL intro, the punch scene, and the knife tricks! The very first rough was posted on my twitter!
Everything was drawn on Procreate! Lots of canvases and back ups, only 25 scenes were used in the final! I got permission to stream my process on twitch to help stay productive!
300 hours of drawing and 480 frames later, I imported my Procreate files into Procreate Dreams and it is a mess 😠idk how to edit and composite, there’s groups in groups in groups ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
it’s been stressful lmao I felt guilty for not updating him enough on my process, felt paranoid that I was gonna be replaced with another artist, and felt cringe at the way I would message him (too formal! 💀) I also felt I would be bothering him if I made fanart and tagging him for it, so I haven’t made much Sapnap fanart either! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I’M SO HAPPY IT’S OUT AND PUBLIC AND SEEING THE REACTIONS LIVE IS SO COOL!!
