Praying has helped me in life when I am at my lowest.
It is important to give back if you wish to receive through prayer. If you do not give, you cannot have a relationship with who you pray to.
Finding ways you can be close with the gods is important. For me it's singing hymns. Find your own way, or even use another person's idea. The important thing is that a gift is freely given. Recognizing them as forces in the world. What ever you do, it should be passionate and meaningful for you personally. That's what makes it a good offering.

When I decided to learn weather witchcraft, I did not expect it to be this hard to find resources.
who has storm witchcraft or any other kind of weather witchcraft resources?
Ok so weather magick is possible, so can we get a bunch of witches together, or have as many witches as possible preform some spells together to slow down global warming?
Not cast spells with the intention of โending climate changeโ I mean like, spells for colder weather, cursing the top 1% every time they make a decision that hurts the environment, just being environmentally friendly, manifesting more environmental activists and people actively trying to reduce their carbon footprint, stuff like that.
Itโs just a thought but if we can get enough people, itโd be possible right?
I grew up with some very strange tarot traditions, and I wonder how many others did too.
Your deck must be a gift.
You cannot accept money for readings. The only thing you may accept in exchange is other, equal magic, or food.
Cards ought be read by candlelight.
Wash your hands 3 times before reading.
Readings must be done in person, because the subject must cut the deck.
Readings are best done inebriated, to blur the veil.
Cards should remain bound when not in use.
Always perform a reading for yourself before doing one for another person, to focus yourself.
When you read by candlelight, you cannot blow the candles out. You have to snuff them instead. Or, better, have someone else snuff them (but not blow them out).
I think the two that people disagree with most are not buying your own deck and conducting readings without the person present. But this is how I learned, and I wonder who else learned the same way.
CALLING ALL WITCHES: I Have a New Yearโs Proposal

Some background:
I was inspired to do this when I went to the grocery store for some ice.ย Some of my followers may know that I was laid off in July, mere days after emergency gallbladder surgery. Iโm deep in debt, living off my pension of 2 weeks pay for every year I worked there. I have to be very careful with how I spend my money. I was in line at the 99 Cent Store, just buying ice. When you buy ice at this store, you ask for it at the register, pay for it, then go get it on your way out the door. I guess too many customers were putting ice in the cart and wandering the store for hours, causing lots of slip hazards.
Anyways, I was in line and because I had no items for the belt, I just put down two separators to indicate that I was a person between the guy ahead of me and the guy behind me.ย
The guy behind me started to load up his groceries, but placed them between my separators by mistake. I just put a new separator down in front, to recreate the opening. No big deal. He immediately apologized when I explained I just have ice. We had a pretty short laugh about it, and when I went up to pay, the cashier said it was $1.10. I had $2, but forgot about the tax. I turned to the guy behind me and saidย โHey man, you got a dime? Itโd be a shame to break a whole dollar.โ He immediately said yeah and grabbed a quarter.ย โI got you.โย

What I want to do this year is get the witches of the internet involved in a mass blessing of strangers who show even the tiniest kindnesses. Reward those who do things for others with no ulterior motive.ย

Spirits?
I'm beginning with witchcraft and one thing that I've been noticing are the entities.
I remember that back in 2012, right after my grandmother passed away, the whole energy in my house was sad, my mum was depressed and my dad started going to another city for long periods of time.
I remember once I was doing my homework on the dinning room, it was already dark outside, and neither my mom nor I had turned on the lights of the rooms in the first floor. So the only lights on were in the dinning room and in the living room, were my mom was watching TV.
I went to my room to get my charger and a book I left there. As the lights were off, the moon light was perfectly reflected on my mom's room.
I checked it and for a few seconds I saw my grandma, sitting in a corner, brushing her hair, smiling to me in the same sweet way as always.I tried to see her again, but there was only a shadow left. I almost cryed and I couldn't end my homework that night.
I forgot that expirience. Now that I remember it, I think I might cry. Maybe it was just my imagination, or she was really there, checking for her daughter.

Smoke filled the streets of Small Heath, workmen feeding coal to metal beasts, breathing in the toxic air. The noise of their exploits echoed over the slated roofs, carrying for miles, and allowing for a cloaked figure to pass by silently.
Her eyes flashed with each burst of flame, catching the depth and piercing brightness of their blue. A pointed, angled hat cast shadow over her features, the glint of steel on the brim a warning to all those who are prey, and obscuring everything but the subtly smirking lips; painted blood red.
She passed through Small Heath with no opposition, no second glances, for all those who saw her, knew. This woman was one ofย them.
Granddaughter of a Romani king, princess of the Peaky Blinders, and all round predator. Sarah Shelby walked the streets of Birmingham like royalty, because that's exactly what she was.
The doors to the Garrison swung open, and heads came up, only to dip down again in respect. And fear. A few newcomers stared, until one of their friends shoved their heads to the table.ย
She swept along the bar, plucking whiskey and a glass on her way. Her heels clicked off the wooden floor, a quiet power spilling out from the smooth, rolling silk that hugged her figure. Equally dark curls bounced upon her shoulders as she turned her head, one last look falling over the pub before she vanished into the private booth.
The Shelby boys all looked up, grins appearing on their faces and papers being set down. To those outside, nothing would have shocked them more than to know she returned the smiles.
"Good to see you again, boys," she said, sitting adjacent from the eldest sibling, Arthur.
"And you, sister," Thomas said, "we'd begun to think ourselves too common for your tastes."
"Oh, not at all," Sarah replied, matching the smirk he wore as she poured herself a drink, "I merely had some business of my own to attend," she said, and crossed her legs.
The air, filled with smoke from their cigarettes, tasted bitter on her tongue. Something hung there, unspoken, interrupted. It seeped into the old wood, spinning around the circular booth like a wailing spirit, begging for freedom.
Eyes narrowed, Sarah regarded her brothers with a tilted head. "What's happened?"
John chuckled, glancing over at Thomas and bouncing his leg. Little humour was to be found in his face, only a rather satisfied "I-told-you-so" gleam in his eye.
The two elders exchanged a brief look, and Arthur gestured towards her, raising another cigarette to his lips and leaving Thomas to answer the question.
"There is a copper from Belfast sticking his nose in our business," he explained, hands clasped on the table he leant on, "and he's causing problems."
"Now the barmaid makes sense," Sarah murmured, sipping her whiskey and gazing at it as the liquid swirled.
The brothers straightened in their seats. Thomas wet his lips. "What do you mean?"
She raised her eyes to them, one eyebrow arched. "A copper from Belfast comes along, poking his snout where it isn't wanted, and a beautiful Irish girl suddenly drops into Harry's lap; surely you don't think it's a coincidence?"
John and Arthur laughed, but quickly stopped, noticing the missing voice. Thomas stared at his sister, heart hammering in his chest, and fell back against the bench.
"Grace is not working for Inspector Campbell," he said, in a tone that seemed directed more at himself than anyone else.
Sarah drew her wand from its sheath at her side, rolling the cool instrument in her grasp. The familiar touch sent gentle sparks flying as she waved it through the air.
They each gulped, glancing at one another and backing up, further away from the weapon. But Thomas met her eyes, and smirked.
"Let's find out, shall we?"
