Hiccup Haddock was born from a tribe full of Warriors, Barbarians and Rangers, well known for using their skills to hunt Dragons, The Hooligan Tribe. He was raised as a ranger, as his mother was, but eventually he sought a different path, finding his calling working with Magic and Machinery. His life took a drastic turn when his familiar took the form of a dragon, his clan’s mortal enemy. Their animosity led Hiccup and Toothless to flee his tribe and travel around Faerun, where he meets a travelling Sorcerer named Jack, who shares his mission to hunt the shards of a fallen star, the last of which is guarded by a Red Dragon. Hiccup offers his help to steal the shard from the Dragon’s horde and finds out that the very beast is responsible for controlling the hordes of dragons to attack his tribe. Together, they plan to take down the dragon so Hiccup can protect his tribe and for Jack to bring together the shards of the star. Although, his reasons for it is a mystery even for Hiccup himself…

OKAY SO LOVED THIS IDEA and I sketched out a couple things this morning and then got carried away and drew a comic - and then went back to it later after work to clean it up. Thank you @dmoondream
The idea I went with was: Jack's from fairy tale land and when he ends up in the real world, he can't control the winds as well and ends up crashing onto Hiccup's college campus :)

Believe me. Jack wouldn’t believe himself, drenched and shaking as he was, but he needed Hiksti to. He couldn’t let him worry.
Hiksti began speaking again, more slowly and less frantic, and Jack focused on the words breezing past his right ear, ruffling his hair. Winter, cold, fear, dream. A sigh. Hiksti unfurled from him then, and Jack’s entire front chilled with his absence. He kept one hand on Jack’s bicep. For reassurance — whether for Jack, or for himself — it didn’t matter. Jack was just glad it was there.
Hiksti led him out of the water.

Astrid was standing at the edge of the door, looking at the clusterfuck of a mess.
Hiccup and Jack, both wide eyed, stared back at her. Jack pinned against the wall, his hands wrapped around the viking heir’s neck. One of Hiccup’s hand next to Jack’s head, the other holding the spirit’s waist.
Both flushed, silently held eye contact with the shield-maiden.
She crossed her arms, “Okay, break it up you guys. This is important.”
Jack and Hiccup awkwardly pulled apart, Hiccup sat on his chair while Jack chose to sit on the table.
Astrid cleared her throat, “Okay, how long?”
“Um,”
A beat passed between them. The boys refused to look at each other.
“A week?”
“A month?”
Another awkward silence fell upon the group. Astrid stared at the pair, eyebrow raised.
Hiccup and Jack sneaked a glance at each other but immediately looked away.
She sighed. “Okay, let’s try again. But this time, without the lying.”
Jack is 165 cm. In other ways 5’5.
Hiccup, in the first film is 154 cm. For other people, that’s 5’1.
Starting from rtte to httyd 2, Hiccup is 185 cm. 6’1.
Hiccup is canonically is taller than Jack in rtte. And that probably irritates Jack so much.
When Jack can’t get something from a shelf, Hiccup reaches from behind him and gives it to him. And that makes Jack so mad.
“Oh you think I can’t reach? Like I can’t just fly up and get it for myself? Are you implying that I’m short?”
And Hiccup tries to explain himself like “No, I was just trying to help you!” And stuff.
When Hiccup’s working in the forge and Jack is there chilling, he sometimes gets in the way of a tool Hiccup needs. So Hiccup just, picks him up and settles him on a table. And Jack is just, shocked. He has to process what just happened and when he does, the humiliation just fully kicks in.
He goes red, and starts to yell at Hiccup like “How dare you-?!” And to this point Hiccup is used to it. But seeing Jack blushing amuses him and he kinda likes it.
So Hiccup starts to doing it on purpose. He rests his arms on Jack, wraps his arms around his waist when Jack’s doing something and startles him, puts his head on top of the others head or shoulder. Picks Jack up when he’s in the way instead of going around him. All that stuff.
It drives Jack mad.
He always goes red when Hiccup does them. He either jumps or shouts at Hiccup. And Hiccup is so smug that he can get ‘laid-back Jack’ so frustrated.
Through time, he gets used to it. It becomes their thing. Hiccup gets touchy with Jack and Jack doesn’t even bats an eye. The gang was surprised and baffled at first, but they also got used to it.
Heather was really baffled when she saw the dynamic. She asked the others, but all she got was shrugs and fond sighs.
Nobody ever actually explained it to Heather how it started, and even though she was curious, she never asked further. Figured out it was just a ‘them’ thing.
Should I make this an AU? Jack being his spirit self and hanging out with the rtte gang? Just daily lives? Say if you want more!
