It had been a few weeks since you had seen Anakin, due to the very tedious and amounts of focus it takes to complete and engage in a mission. You had been sure, however, to sneak a radio with you so in the nights of your mission, where you found yourself restless and in need of hearing your divine boyfriend's words, you could.
"Hey, angel. How's the mission coming?" His voice rang out through the almost desolate night, as if he were saving you from the dangers of boredom. "Hey. The missions fine.." You said, trying to make it seem like you weren't calling him out of pure need. "Oh... but you didn't call me to tell me about the mission, did you, sweetness?" The smirk in Anakin's voice was evident, making you bite your lip slightly. "No, I just needed to hear your voice. Talk to me, Ani." He sighed dramatically, as if it physically pained him to oblige your request, but you know it made him happy to be needed by you. "Did you eat today, lovely?"
"Yes. But I missed you so much though." You whine. "I know, sweet stuff, I missed you too. You know we'll just have to make up for lost time when you get back, huh?" The thought being so generously reminded in your mind made your heart skip a beat. "Oh, yes, Ani, I know." Once more, the smirk was evident in his voice. "I'm glad you do, babes. Fuck, I love you." With a satisfied smile you reply, "I love you too."
"Can't wait to hold you. Your cute little smiles drives me insane, darling." You blush softly, a pink hue spreading generously but lightly around your cheeks. "Oh, Ani... you know being away from you is like parting away from my soul?" You whisper into the phone, your voice carrying an air of absolute adoration but the desire to be back into his arms. "I do." He confirms, his voice hinting at pride. "You are in my very soul, baby. Don't you forget that." Almost forgetting to breath for a moment, you feel your heart leap in your body and you are left speechless until he speaks once more. "My beloved, you are such a cutie, especially when I know I have such an effect on you."
