For TMNT 2012 Fanfic Writers, Can I Have Some Pointers on How to Portray The Characters as Close to Canon?
I’m storyboarding a long TMNT 2012 fic and I’m nervous that I won’t portray the characters accurately.
I need some pointers.

ok so I need someone to tell me if friends can feel very strongly about each other, want to spend the rest of their lives together, and get jealous over their friend's other relationships or if that's queerplatontic behavior because I need help with a fic I'm writing
I'm trying to find a fiction I read about a year or 2 ago on Ao3.
It was a Batman fanfic where all the Robins(and maybe all batfam not sure) and Alfred were blaming Bruce for them being Robins.
After a bit Bruce snaps and basically say he never wanted the kid to be Robins. Bruce just wanted to be there for Dick cause Bruce saw his parents die in front of him to, took Jason in cause Bruce didn't want him to be fighting to survive, he brought Tim in cause he found out about Batman and was being neglected, and he expected Damian cause he wasn't going to turn away his son. Bruce didn't want them to be Robins but thought if he didn't make them sidekicks they would just follow him in to danger but with the training and end up hurt or dead so at least as sidekicks they'll be prepared. He just want to do the responsible thing.
After saying that everyone kinda goes quiet and the kids all goes " oh damn we made him make us, it's our fault we're fuck up" and they feel guilty and now Bruce is sad and emotionally drained but then I think they all apologize to Bruce
Guys I wanna write fan fiction but I don’t know how or what fandom to do? Any recommendations or tips on how to get started? I will update my progress
