Be mindful of anti-proletariat rhetoric.
Don't tolerate bullshit ideas like "unskilled labor", all labor is skilled, and capitalists want you to believe in it so they can justify paying hard working people practically nothing. If someone is giving their time and energy to someone else, they deserve respect no matter what.
Don't tolerate parents teaching their children to look down upon common laborers as "trashy work".
Don't tolerate this idea that poor people are lazy, most are poor for a variety of reasons: poor mental health, no generational wealth, bad investments, drug addiction, disability, unwanted children; but none of them are just laziness. If you know any poor people, you know they bust their ass every day to get a fraction of what their bosses have.
Don't tolerate people who say you should vote for a party that doesn't give a shit about the real workers.
Don't tolerate divisive ideas meant to distract the common man from getting back the surplus value stolen from him.
Don't tolerate propagandic opinion pieces from rich folk who want to keep you ignorant.
Love the working class, and eat the rich!
Applicable to so many other groups and situations as well.
True either way you take it. And for the literal way, mud helps a lot too.
this reminds me of a collegehumor sketch where a guy brings a chest into the office with a bunch of fashy stuff and is like “my grandpa is a big fan of the bad guys from wolfenstein”
What's the context behind your profile picture? :)
So glad you asked!!
It's by italian photoreporter Tino Petrelli, it was taken around the 25th of April 1945 in Milan, after antifascist rebel groups liberated Italy.
After the liberation, these groups surrendered their weapons to the Allies as part of an agreement, which is what the women in the picture are doing (although the specific picture may be staged).
One of them is Anna Maria Leone, 17 at the time, who was part of the "Women's defense group", after the war she worked as an actress and writer and was active in the feminist movement. It's not clear who the other two women are.
Bring back women learning self-defense as an anti-fascism movement
Just saw the most frustrating post about "bringing back red lipstick as an anti-fascism movement" - the male CEOs of every major cosmetics company would LOVE that. You wouldn't be sticking it to any fascists by conforming to sexist beauty standards. Save your money, save your time, and fight fascism by, you know, standing up to fascist leaders and policies. Don't buy lipstick.
The leak of the Epstein files is going to be a shitshow and an excuse for political violence. It will also probably be the first time deepfake video will be used as evidence against political enemies.
Something doesn't have to be remotely true to inspire irrationally violent rage. There is a power in stories - sometimes in really really dumb stories that inspires the vicious and the cultish to action.
The dumbest coup in American history isn't done yet. I hope people are ready. I hope the governors and national guard and lower level officer corp and everyone is ready.
