a good story has its foil baked into the plot! its characters will exemplify the different philosophies!

I kinda now hope we get a hanakou moment in chapter 103 just to see their perspective of mitsuba and nene ( you know a sorta reverse) I still can’t help but feel they left on a bad note (PP ARC) and yeah they seem cool in chapter 96 but I think they’re ignoring it and refusing to talk the elephant between them but that my opinion

Here I can finally see that she understood that it's not so easy, because she herself experienced some traumatic memories that apparently affected her, which is also a good thing.
It made me actually believe that she understood Amane here than when she said "I understand" in p.p arc, but then it seemed shallow and expressionless. It's different here, I can actually see that I can believe her that she understood him.
yashiro later tells Mitsuba that "she's not officially his girlfriend" even though they're not in an official relationship, I've noticed that she's stopped simp for any guy and actually sees Amane taking his thoughtfulness seriously and with care.
I can finally see that she has finally started to take his past more seriously, trauma and doesn't want to back down, just really know what he thinks about her and wants to know his past she doesn't back down go forward.
Finally, for me, yashiro begins to take on the colors that I missed in her character. Of course, I'm aware that she may go back to her old self or show hypocrisy again when she's mad, but I hope that the authors will not destroy the potentials of yashiro that I started to notice thanks to these small changes in this chapter.

Akane I have no idea he does it. I think he only values and treasures Aoi's life.
I think as Amane he underestimated life, he decided to shorten his and Tsukasa's lives for some reason. I think that as Hanako it changed, he started to appreciate life and he knows how important human life is. He was helping Aoi and he wants to save Nene because he wants her to live and this is proof that he really appreciates life. He knows that life is precious. He also knows that he took his brother's life and his own, so if he can try to save someone... he will. Amane also wanted "Things to stay like this forever" knowing that was impossible. Life as a ghost is also life, and he didn't want to leave Yashiro and Kou.
Kou, I think he knows that...he lost his mother and friend and wouldn't want to lose anyone else...so I think he appreciates life.
Teru think that he only values his loved ones life and Aoi because he likes her. Sure, he helps people, but as he said himself, it didn't come naturally to him. That's why I think he values and treasures more the lives of the people he loves.
Yashiro.. I don't know and I don't care about her and I don't want to try to analyze her character... I don't have a positive opinion about her either, so I'd be biased, and I wouldn't want that. That's why I won't talk about her.

Yes... I saw this art from AidaIro. I hope someday she understands that not everyone can save. Personally, I feel sorry for Nene in this scene, only in this scene.It 100% traumatized her.Which makes sense because she had kept it quiet when Amane asked. Maybe now something will start to dawn on her and she understands him a little. I guess.

At the end of the first season's credits, we see Hanako sinking into the dark sea, while he throws Nene in fish form into the clouds.
As if to represent that he is doomed to be trapped in the sea (a metaphor to also represent that he fell in love with a mermaid) and that Nene is the one who should reach the stars (a complement to the metaphor of the mermaid who fell in love with the stars).
Nene lives in the stars, theoretically far from the water, while Amane drowns in the deepest ocean.
As if they loved each other so much that they were trapped in it. She is the fish who got lost in the stars that Amane loves so much, and he is the astronaut who drowned in the ocean, where the mermaid he loved "lived".

Okay so here me out-
Hanako abruptly cut Akane off when he was about to say that Kou likes Yashiro. And he was visibly upset and bothered about it. Could it be because of confession he did before.
When he confessed, Yashiro not knowing it was for a mission was really giving thought about it. She was about to say yes. She was willing to date him just because he 'liked' her. What if Hanako was remember that and feared that if Yashiro knew about Kou liking her she would go out with him.

So, i was reading the latest chapter of Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun, and then Sumire appeared all colored and stuff and...
