Been Playing Wuthering Waves and having a good time doing it. My luck is superb right now. I have so many characters I initially wanted and I couldnt be happier, shout out to the creators of this game! Your doing great and I am loving the game so far despite its faults, its a new game so I dont really care.
My 5 Stars : Jixien, Lingyang, Jiyan
My 4 Stars : Yangyang, Chixia, Baizhi, Aalto, Sanhua and Danjin
I obtained Jiaxin on my Novice Convene.
Proceeded to then get Lingyang in 22 singular pulls on Jiyan's banner.
After I made a 10 pull and got Jiyan on 33 pulls on his banner.
Chixia is currently Resonance level 2.
Yangyang is currently Resonance level 2.
Aalto is currently Resonance level 1.
I got Sanhua on my Novice Convene, so she's going to be Resonate level 1 soon.
I also pulled my dear sweet girl, Danjin.
Baizhi my darling, is currently a main on my team who I dont plan to remove, EVER! I love her and her symbotic companion, You'tan.
AND, now I find out were getting a 5 star voucher at somepoint after I just chose Encore as my Beginners Choice Convene! So I can get Calcharo too! JEEZUS! We are getting spoiled and Im for it. I can save for Yinlin's banner!

Long ramble ahead about a somewhat poly ship LMAO
Slight spoilers for the final part of the Huanglong storyline
But my bf and I, roleplaying and wuwa fanatics we are, have decided three weeks ago that it would be lovely for us to throw Female Rover into a sandwich with Jiyan and Scar as the bread.
It's so LOUDLY obvious that Scar is Rover's biggest simp regardless of the gender, and the fact of the matter remains that Rover will roast the mf to hell and back, but in the end kinda likes the fact that he keeps following her around and talking in her face whenever he's in close vicinity of her, like a very aggressive "OOOO, YOU WANNA KISS ME SO BAD~" type of ordeal, but Rover WOULD kiss him to shut up, no strings attached 😭
Plus, he'd be so annoying when Rover mentions Jiyan quite a bit, so much so that (at least my bf's portrayal of Scar would do this) he would visit Jiyan himself and... Have a little 'conversation' with him. Because JUÉ KNOWS that bro is possessive asf
Jiyan, he's deserving of a partner 100% after all this time he's served as a Midnight Ranger from the time when he was just a medic, to the current time where he's a General.
FROM THE MOMENT ROVER FIRST SAW JIYAN, SHE WAS ALREADY IN LOVE WITH HIM. SO THE FIRST TIME THEY SEE EACH OTHER IN PERSON WHEN THEY HAVE TO DEFEAT THE THRENODIAN? girl almost fell to her knees because LORD HAVE MERCY THAT BIG MAN'S GOT HER KICKING HER FEET
between Scar and Jiyan, Rover would not lead the both of them on, but she DOES act like a tsundere with Scar, and very much a little bit more pathetic with Jiyan because... WELL, IT'S JIYAN
due to the complexities of their whole dynamic, and because the guys wouldn't like each other, they'd agree to just share her because... Rover cannot decide and she's pathetic for the both of them
oh and Rover's nickname for Scar is 'Sexual Harasser'
AIGHT TIME TO DO MY ESSAY SOBS...
I have it in me to think that, at least for my Rover, she's all so cool and collected, but the second Jiyan's mentioned, she falters so hard and becomes so positively weak in the knees in the "SOB. WHY IS HE SO SWEET, COOL, STRONG, AND LIKELY A GENTLEMAN TOO—" way.
I'm just pathetic for the aero dragon general 😭
I have it in me to also think that she would secretly have a plush of Jiyan because she's secretly that pathetic and silly

I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE RELEASE DATE-
my late congrats to wuwa on its launch the game looks great so far, i hope kurogames will finally understand their own uniqueness and let go of other's games concepts and mechanics, as well as some plot tendencies wishing them grand future and lots of luck!!!
Thoughts from trying Wuwa
-the exposition is kind of a lot, it could use a slower drip feed of info
-the optimization on lower end hardware, even at bottom of the barrel settings, is abysmal
-the gameplay feels fucking incredible, sorta soulsy with its stagger system and dodge mechanics
-the character designs are cute, but the girls seem pretty samey so far, minus a few exceptions
-the setting seems cool! Fantastical modern settings are awesome
-the theming around sound and frequencies is a neat throughline
Honestly, the gameplay is so smooth and fun, kinda like HI3 met Genshin and they went on a date in Lordran. I'll play it just for the gameplay, at least for now.
Tldr, fun gameplay!! Hope the pacing and optimization is tweaked <33 I've got high hopes.
