i’m so??? emotional about this line. truly a passing sentence in a bigger scene that made me felt Seen and Known

i think a lot of its impact is because it wasn’t a Big Thing™️. the scene didn’t grind to a halt to mention pete’s transness, the language used wasn’t anachronistic and fits right into the historical setting.
