Our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) has yet again been insulted and mocked at by the culprits of France. Portraying and vilifying him in a cartoon using satire and mockery has proved once more just how abusive and shameless the government and its people have become in the name of "freedom of speech". Whoever knows Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), surely knows of his great and high character. Forgiveness was a noble quality of his as he would always forgive his enemies who did much worse to him (peace be upon him). But that’s no surprise knowing the great man he was who was sent as a mercy for mankind and not as an avenger. So as Muslims, we must follow the teachings of our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) and control our anger and not show any hostility as Islam teaches us much better than that. Our enemies love to see us upset, so why are we giving them what they love to see. If we want to make a difference, those who truly love our Messenger and want to show that love, will make a real impact by spreading his teachings (peace be upon him), invite others to learn about him and spread dawah about this great religion. In addition, we will also take the means and boycott French products so those responsible will taste the consequences of their actions and experience the impact of their irresponsible demeanor.
