First day of the spring semester! Lots of nervous energy!
And since i got a little slacky with my 100 days of productivity, I'm starting over.
Gonna do this shit right!
Have not posted in a while! My life got super chaotic, but I'm back at it!
First off, I hope everyone had a splendid holiday and a great new years!
I recently got my official grades from the Fall semester, and I'm pleased to say I passed both my honors classes!
And today I registered for my Spring 19 classes! Yay!
This semester I will be taking:
Introduction to Anthropology
Human Geography
Geology of Colorado
Art History: prehistoric to renaissance
Needles to say, I am excited!
I wish everyone luck this year!

My cultural anthropology professor approved my survey and interview questions today!
I can officially start my research for the honors project!
I'm so excited! It's a step closer to being an actual anthropologist π

Overall today was a pretty good day!
I had orientation for my new job this morning! Afterwards, I cam home and read for a while before working on my personal narrative assignment.Β
Iβm almost done with all my assignments for the next two weeks so I can have a stress free vacation!

The end of this week is going to be extra busy!
I am going on a mini vacation starting next week and I'm trying to cram 2 weeks worth into three days so I'm not missing out on my vacation to stay on top of classes.
This includes:
An Essay on The Great Gatsby
A quiz on The Great Gatsby
An Essy on an American Icon (I chose Neil DeGrasse Tyson)
A personal narrative essay
My second Anthro test
Three chapters of my Cultural Anthropology textbook
Creating survey and interview questions for my honors Anthro project
So needless to say I will be exhausted by the end of it, but it will be worth it when I have a worry and stress free vacation!

My Cultural Anthropology Professor shared this with our class today, so I thought I would share with you guys.
We were talking about silent language today and how some gestures we (Americans) used may not be carried out in the same context in other countries.

Desk layout...even though it won't stay like this for long!
No class on Fridays! But I still have a lot of work to do today. Chapters to read and essays to write.
But first, I'm going to ease into it with my current fun read: The Sixth Extinction by Elizabeth Kolbert. Accompanying me is my baby girl Dill and a chai coffee in my awesome Lord of the Flies mug.

I always feel both really confident and really nervous when I finish a test in a short amount of time.
Had my first Cultural Anthropology test today and got done in about 30 minutes. 25 multiple choice question and five short essay responses.

Working on the final draft of my English essay and watching some old X-Files. I know I probably shouldn't watch TV while I do my homewaork....but my brain will die of boredom if I dont have some sort of entertainment going on.

finally finished the rough draft for my first English essay of the semester. Four hours well spent...now to rest my little fingers.
I also feel like doing the 100 days of productivity is going to make me more accountable for my homework.
Productivity! Day one
Today is my 24th birthday, so I thought that it would be the best day to start my 100 days of productivity!
For my first productive day I cleaned and organized my office, because a cluttered desk is not a happy desk!
This is my fiction and story writing bookshelf. Along with some of my pop culture collection.
This is my nonfiction and oddities bookshelf
And this is my super awesome birthday present from my husband! I haven't named him yet but I did put a snazzy lab coat on him.
And finally my desk! That has a bunch of homework that needs done. But it's a lot more organized than it was..cuz I'm messy.
Also since falling is almost here I have changed to my fall scented waxes, toffee crumb and pumpkin spice!
Thanks for peeping at my finally clean office, I'm loving now that its fully decorated and everything is in its place.π€
