Little Lucifer Info:
Age Range: 0-3 Years old
Caregiver: Alastor (Calls him Lu when verbal, which sounds like: "Wu!")
Babysitter: Charlie
Autistic: Mostly nonverbal when regressed, gets easily overwhelmed by his surroundings, and has a hard time letting his caregiver know when he needs or wants something
Hyperfixated on anything to do with ducks!
Milk extremely upsets his tummy and can cause severe meltdowns if the pain persists longer than a few minutes
Now he usually gets watered down apple juice(Happy hands or wiggles are to be expected whenever this happens)
Stranger Danger x1,000(Very clingy baby, but only to Alastor and on very rare occasions Charlie)
Dislikes loud or overly bright toys
Toys he can pull behind himself are his favorite
Likes to chew on his duck shaped crinkle fabric plush
Night terrors are the one thing that can cause him to immediately drop into a baby headspace for an unknown amount of time
Has a tiny bladder, but is too anxious to let his caregiver know he needs a change. (Unfortunately resulting in several painful rashes and the occasional UTI)
Hensel be stimming.
This includes repeated words, hand flapping, pacing and something I like to call ‘surface smacking’
Where he rapidly smacks his paws on a surface repeatedly.
If he does not have a surface he will do it on his thighs.
happy stimming
Tennis racket is literally the best fidget toy. I can spin it in so many ways, I can hit people with it, I can touch strings.
The autism in Jamie Tartt in todays episode was showing!
The stimming when he was upset. The flapping his hands. Not knowing how he’s feeling or why. The chewing on his hoodie strings. The need for comfort from people he trusts. All of it.
It’s just very clear this episode. And I kinda love it. It just furthers my head cannon.
vocal rest as a theatre kid that mostly has vocal stims is…….so so impossible
kageyama:
HAND FLAPPER I KNOW THIS BOY IS A HAND FLAPPER
but he’s super self conscious so he holds back in public until 2nd year when he’s finally comfortable enough to do it around the team!!
he also hums little tunes that he learned as a kid
he loves the smell of peonies and keeps a bouquet on his kitchen table to smell whenever he wants
absolutely listens to classical music on repeat for hours
hinata:
oh the collection of chews this man has. it is extensive and they are all used as much as possible
like seriously there are several drawers in his room dedicated to these things
constant stream of blowing raspberries and tongue clicking, tsukki is so fed up
he likes to dance!!! just breaks out some moves during practice (its never good)
likes the feeling of vaseline and hates chapped lips so he always has vaseline on
yamaguchi:
plays with the edges of his sleeves when he’s nervous
has loads of jewelry so that when he moves it jingles!!!
a little bit of a chewing stim especially when he’s bored lmao
loves spinny chairs so he can go like 90 mph
likes tracing the indents on tiled floors/walls
shakes his hair around rapidly and everyone is always afraid he’ll get whipflash
tsukishima:
moves the tv remote backing up and down CONSTANTLY
singing. i know he does it. i know in my heart he sings at any chance he can
puts glue on his hand and then peels it off after it dries
in public he’s all about the small, socially acceptable stims like tapping your foot and wiggling your nose
but at home alone he really goes full out like full full out. there is no limb that isnt moving
yachi:
probably plays SOOO many instruments im getting major flute and piano vibes
picks paint off walls but is trying to stop because they keep having to repaint things
a bin filled with large amounts of a small object such as beads or glitter? you can bet she’s sticking her hand in it
likes to quickly flip every page of a book and put it against her fingers to feel them go by and also to smell it
sticks her hand over vents to feel the air coming out of them
i think about kageyama stimming every single day without fail
what neurotypicals think autistics want:
what autistics actually want:
I always get asked if I’ve got music in my head because I’m always moving my head and tapping, but in truth I’m just stimming. I say yes.
this came to my attention because lately ive been taking more videos of myself and i realized in almost all (if not all) im making really weird noises or saying something from a song/show and i just find it really entertaining cause i don’t even realize its going on
people don’t talk about vocal stimming enough, in my opinion. haha like vocal stimming is the best. i always have to do it alone cause it usually annoys my family, but still i just love to just go and “aaaaaaaaAAAAaaAaAaaAaa” it’s somehow so refreshing

oo guys, if any of you stim to music please send me your most stimmy (stimmiest?) songs, I wanna make a playlist
(my favorite is kara kara kara no kara by kikuo)
Just found out a close friend of mine calls me stimming me getting the zoomies... I will never correct him
I honestly love vacuuming because like noice canceling headphones blasting music and nice repetitive motions? Yes. The best combination to torment the little people in my brain.
Deciding to reblog with my list
Soft fluffy textures
Some types music or really just music in general
Rocking
Running my hands through warm water
There’s probably more but these are all I can think of
alright figured out another one:
running my thumb through the pages of a book (especially when the pages are considered more soft in texture)
What are your sensory sparks? ✨
Autism-related Submas headcanons!
Heyo! I have compiled quite a few headcanons after overanalyzing these two and ideating (both the subject of Submas *and* autism), so here goes nothing. Thought rainbows at 5 in the morning, on zero sleep.
◇ This may go without saying, but Emmet is low empathy, and Ingo is high empathy.
Emmet will attempt to express empathy but will end up giving you "the facts" instead of typical sympathy. Ingo will console you and encourage you through your struggle, despite any slipups he may make.
◇ Emmet has a higher tolerance to sound and a lower tolerance to physical sensations. Ingo has a higher tolerance to physical sensations and a lower tolerance to sound (despite being loud himself).
◇ Ingo adores physical contact and will accept it without question, but Emmet may hesitate to engage in this. He needs to really trust you first and give you details on what he likes and dislikes.
◇ Emmet is very intelligent just like Ingo, but he has frequent nonverbal moments, which unfortunately leads to others believing there is a "smarter twin". Ingo is the one to speak first, and Emmet may or may not add onto it, depending on whether he can physically speak at the moment or not.
This can cause problems as well, such as during interviews or appointments where he needs to give vital information -- he finds himself being too vague after the fact. (This one is totally not self projection!)
He is aware of his choppy speech pattern as well, but it is difficult to stop.
◇ Unlike Ingo, Emmet has ADHD paired with his autism, which gives him conflicting symptoms. He may switch around his eating habits quicker, or he may erratically change something in his routine and quickly regret it afterwards.
◇ Ingo can hold eye contact for a *much* longer duration of time than Emmet. Emmet, on the other hand, seems to avoid it almost completely, unless it is with Ingo, Elesa, or another verrrry trusted person. (Even here, it is still uncomfortable if done too long.)
◇ Ingo stims like Emmet does, but not in public! He takes masking more seriously, but at home he finds himself rocking, talking to himself, making vocalizations with Emmet and fidgeting in place.
◇ Ingo likes wearing socks indoors, and Emmet prefers to go barefoot.
Now, my brain is fried, so I will leave it here... for now.....
Wing flapping, tail wagging, or something of the sort would be a wonderful stim, btw
