reblog limbus company so true bestie I like to think that sinclair helped out his family's maid in the kitchen when he was younger and even though he wasn't very skilled his parents would be so proud of him and the maid would probably pat his head or something it'd be cute also meursault puts no passion into his dishes EXCEPT when he's trying to recreate his mother's cooking then there's a feeling of something there. it's hard to place but there's definitely some kind of compassion within his cooking then nostalgia maybe he'd probably eat it and feel a bit unsatisfied not because it's bad or anything but because he never bothered to ask his mother for recipe so other than the few memories he has of helping her out around the kitchen he'd have to guess I reckon he'd be able to replicate the taste of it pretty easily but it'd feel kind of empty because she isn't actually there so making it now feels pointless
