I have not drawn Kuro for 4 years and the Servamp brainrot has come back to me ohhhhhhhhh,,, I haven't caught up to the manga in years too

Thinking about starting to translate the Servamp manga for Brazilian Portuguese (my main language), but I don't know how to clean the panels so I can put the text on Portuguese ;w;

I'll appreciate so much if someone wants to help to clean the panels!

I’m back from my absolutely bonkers quest. Today’s edition: Kuro’s handheld game console

After some observations, I think that Kuro plays with a Sony PSP (Playstation Portable)

Honestly, at first I had NO idea where to start with this one. The only thing that I knew is that it was a handheld gaming console and I honestly didn’t know any brands, but I did remember that Gameboys exist, so I looked at previous Gameboy models from before 2012.

I did end up finding the Gameboy Advance (which came out initially in 2001). Its shape matched enough to consider it later, but I did have my doubts, so I kept looking outside of Gameboys.

At this point… I had COMPLETELY forgotten the term “handheld gaming console”. I was STUCK I tell you. I had no idea what to look up next. But then…. then I saw a fucking Walmart ad for a Sony PSP, and I was like: “Holy shit. That’s the one.” Also, in the name of the product it had stuff about handheld gaming consoles so I was like “OHHHH…. THAT WAS THE TERM!” and then to make sure, I decided to look on the wiki article for handheld gaming consoles for everything up to 2012. Particularly, I was looking for the ones that have the different colored center thing. Kinda like an Oreo, but with really interesting layers.

Besides the Gameboy Advance, I did find two possible candidates: The Sony Playstation Portable and the Playstation Vita.

Gameboy Advance (2001):

I quickly eliminated Gameboy Advance from the list for three reasons:

1. The Gameboy Advance has two buttons on the right half of the front of the console, meanwhile Kuro’s has four.

2. The back of the Gameboy Advance has no circle, meanwhile Kuro’s does.

3. The Gameboy Advance’s frame isn’t as slim as Kuro’s console.

Using a similar approach, I ended up being able to eliminate the PS Vita. The reason? The PS Vita has no circle in the back. The Sony PSP still has that circle in the back that Kuro’s has, and seems to still match otherwise when I look back at the design. IT’S EVEN STILL GOT THE BIG SQUARE ON THE BACK SURROUNDING THE CENTER CIRCLE TOO

So yeah Kuro most likely plays on a Sony PSP

Ok, I'm like...high as a kite right now, HOWEVER- I fell in love with The Owl House recently...and thought of a Servamp AU with The Owl House!

Mahiru taking Luz's place, and Tooru taking Luz's mother's spot.

Kuro takes Eda's place, and is 'cursed' with black cat.

The Servamps are the coven leaders. The ones that go behind Belos's back.

Tsurugi takes Hunter's spot as the Golden Guard.

Dunno what to do with C3. Maybe they're the coven members? The ones the don't go behind his back...tho are also unaware of what's really going on.

I feel like the Subclass are just the towns people. Blissfully unaware of the threat of C3/the coven.

Germaine is Belos.

Misono takes Amity's spot.

Licht takes Willows spot (only he's way more violent than Willow 😅)

Either Tetsu or Iduna for Gus.

Nicco for Vee? Idk if he'd fit Vee, but I also have 0 idea on where he'd fit in at.

With the Servamps, I full heartedly feel like Greed would be Lilith. Like Lilith was super hard core with the Coven in trying to lure Eda in. Up until she realized what they were doing. Greed would have been the same way, tho their purposes wouldn't be for the same thing.
