The picture with me wearing blue gloves was taken on March 21st (when I planted some cacti seeds) and the other one was taken today (when I noticed my first sprout)! There's a little blip of green and that's my first sprout! :D
Finally got some of my small hydroponics set up! Two romaine lettuce plants and one buttercrunch!
Plant DIY has taken up a majority of free time(I’m not complaining.)
For this DIY, I repurposed some regular mouth mason jars, cut up an old shower loofa I had laying around, and cut off part of a plastic bottle to help hold it all together!
I added fish fertilizer to the water to support the repotting process, and used perlite in the bottom of the loofa. I chose to utilize the soil that the roots had originally come in to help stabilize them.
Any hydroponics advice??
