gofundme.com
My name is Amal, and I am a 50-year-old mother of five living… Amal Mostafa albaik needs your support for Help Amal and Her Family Rebuild

In one corner of Gaza,

drowning in destruction and echoing with suffering, sat Umm Saleh, a woman in her fifties, beside her modest tent hastily erected after losing her home in the latest bombardment. Her face told stories of patience and resilience, with lines of time etched on it as if they were records of unforgettable events.

Umm Saleh, who once lived in a small house filled with the voices of her children, now bore witness to the agony of displacement. She was forced to flee with her children after a shell hit their home, leaving behind years of memories and simple belongings she never imagined would become unattainable.🌿🍉

Every morning, Umm Saleh leaves her tent in search of sustenance to feed her children. She goes to bakeries providing aid, waiting for hours under Gaza’s scorching sun. Despite the exhaustion that weighs down her frail body, she carries the bread, dampened with her tears, and returns with a fake smile that conceals the worries of a mother striving to protect the remnants of her family.🇵🇸🌿

At night, when everyone else is asleep, Umm Saleh remains seated at the entrance of the tent, gazing at the dark sky. She reminisces about the days gone by, about her home that was once filled with warmth, and about her elderly, ailing husband of 70 years. Despite the pain, she finds remnants of hope in her heart—a hope for a day when peace will return and her children and grandchildren will live in a new home brimming with joy.

In moments of solitude, Umm Saleh finds solace in prayer and supplication. She implores God to protect Gaza and its people and to wipe away the dust of sorrow from everyone’s hearts. She often repeats, "We are here to remind the world that we are stronger than war, and we will rebuild our lives anew, no matter the cost."

Umm Saleh is not just a displaced woman but a symbol of patience and strength in the face of harsh circumstances. Her story, like the stories of thousands of mothers in Gaza, embodies the continuous struggle for life in a land torn apart by war, yet still blossoming with hope.

Please help us 🙏😭🇵🇸

The problem the israeli propaganda campaign is having is they kept repeating "unless you know the history you should sit this one out" expecting that would shame people into deference but a lot of people were like ok i'm gonna look into this

A lot of people started following Palestinian and Arab related accounts too

Reply by King of the Internets
Encouraging people to learn the history seems ultimately detrimental to their cause, quite frankly.

Reply by Codanon @CodySkinnerFan
It's tough that when you look at the history it basically says that the king of England said it was ok to kill Palestinians to make room for Zionist settlers because it would be to uncomfortable to have a lot of Jews in Europe after WW2

But this did work for a long time with a lot of ppl.
What we're witnessing right now is culmination of years or organising from Palestinians and allies, as well as the impact of recent intensive education on anti-racism and colonialism and its legacies.

How You Can Help Palestine

If any links are broken let me know. Or pull up the current post to check whether it's fixed.

How to be an Ally 101

URGENT‼️📢: Global Strike Guide

"Knowledge is Israel's worst enemy. Awareness is Israel's most hated and feared foe. That's why Israel bombs a university: it wants to kill openness and determination to refuse living under injustice and racism."

— Dr. Refaat Alareer, (martyred Dec 6, 2023)

From River To The Sea Palestine Will Be Free 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

-----

Edit 1: took the first video down because turns out the animator is a terf and it links to her blog. Really sorry for any distress.

Edit 2: All recommended readings + Haymarket recommendations + essential decolonization texts have been uploaded to my linked gdrive. I will adding more periodically. Please do buy or check them out from the library if possible, but this post was made for and by poor and gatekept Global South bitches like me.

Some have complained about the memes being disrespectful. You're actually legally obligated to make fun of Israeli propaganda and Zionists. I don't make the rules.

Edit 3: "The river to the sea" does not mean the expulsion of Jews from Palestine. Believing that is genocide apologia.

Edit 4: Gazans have specifically asked us to stop fundraising and instead put every effort into pushing for a ceasefire. (Okay PLEASE DONATE NOW but remember that this is NOT a ceasefire Update: Israel is now only letting a trickle through again. They're trying to kill them. CEASEFIRE NOW.) "Raising humanitarian aid" is a grift Western governments are pushing right now to deflect from the fact that they're sending billions to Israel to keep carpet bombing Gazans. As long as the blockades are still in place there will never be enough aid for two million people, and all it will accomplish is getting them fed and patched up enough to keep being slaughtered. Aid means little for Gaza without a ceasefire.

Edit 5: Google drive link for academic books folder has been fixed. Also have added a ton of resources to all the other folders so please check them out.

Edit 6: Added interactive maps, Jadaliya channel, and masterlists of donation links and protest support and of factsheets.

The twitter accounts I reposted as it was given to me and I just now realized it had too many Israeli voices and almost none of the Palestinians I'm following, so it's being edited. Check back for more. I also removed sources like Jewish Voices of Peace and Breaking the Silence that do good work but have come under fair criticism from Palestinians.

Edit 7: Complete reformatting

Edit 8: Complete revamping of the social media section. It now reflects my own following list.

Edit 9: removed some more problematic people from the allies list. Remember that the 2SS is a grift that's used to normalize violence and occupation, kids. Supporting the one-state solution is lowest possible bar for allyship. It's "Free Palestine" not "Free half of Palestine and hope Israel doesn't go right back to killing them".

Edit 10: added The Palestine Directory + Al Jazeera documentary + Addameer. This "100 links per post" thing sucks.

Edit 11: more documentaries and films

Edit 12: reformatted reading list

Edit 13: had to remove @palipunk's masterlist to add another podcast. It's their pinned post and has more resources Palestinian culture and crafts if you want to check it out

Donate to Help Amal and Her Family Rebuild Their Lives in Gaza, organized by Amal Mostafa albaik
gofundme.com

Donate to Help Amal and Her Family Rebuild Their Lives in Gaza, organized by Amal Mostafa albaik
gofundme.com

Hello Salam,

We are a family of 5 begging for help to survive.

With everything you can To everyone reading these words, we are now in the 10 month of the war on Gaza. These days are filled with nothing but fear and deprivation, and the sounds of bombing and destruction shatter our dreams. In our home in Gaza, I live with my family of 5. Our lives have turned into details of oppression and suffering, which still weigh heavily on the shoulders of my father and mother, my sisters Ghazal and Mesk.

As I write this plea, my little family is gathered under the dim lights, sharing canned food to break the fast during Ramadan. These are tough moments as we try to remember the happy times we had, when we were impatiently waiting for our fathers and uncles to return from work. But today they have no jobs to meet our needs. Our lives have changed dramatically, and moments pass in eerie silence, leaving us with memories laden with pain that have added years to our young lives.

Help Firas & Nisreen pay for their medical studies!

i have posted about my friend Firas @firasmuhaisenn and his sister Nisreen at length before here they are two siblings living in Egypt, currently enrolled in university, about to start their second year. their biggest dream in life is to finish medical school to be able to help people in Gaza and give back to their community. they were all set to start this journey but then everything changed on October 7th. their family is stuck in North Gaza with no way out and no way to pay for the skyrocketing food prices. Firas & Nisreen are, on top of everything else, responsible to send their family money so they can survive. every little bit you can give to them is helpful. i cannot overstate how extremely urgent this is. their fundraiser keeps stagnating a lot, oftentimes going without a single donation for days. we cannot afford this right now!! TO PAY FOR THEIR NEXT YEAR OF UNIVERSITY THEY NEED TO URGENTLY PAY $6000 USD (~ $8,155 CAD) UNTIL THE 15th OF OCTOBER

their last donation was 2 days ago! so far, they have $8,416 CAD / $16,571 CAD (short term goal). please, donate and if you can't share this!

Help Firas and Nisreen Raise $545 in a Week

ID: an image of a white plastic shopping bag with the title "The cost of Basics in North Gaza" between the handles.
Carton of eggs: $73.80
1kg eggplant = $15
1kg frozen meat = $82
1kg sugar = $22 - $33
1kg cucumber = $12.30 - $15
1kg tomato = $54.60
1kg non-dairy powdered milk = $13.70
1kg powdered milk = $46.50
1kg laundry detergent = $32
1 garlic = $1.40
1 onion = $8.20
1 roll of toilet paper = $6
1 bag of diapers = $80
1 bottle of water = $2

While Israel and their allies have worked tirelessly to maintain their man-made famine, essential items have skyrocketed, if they are even available at all.
An infographic by @QanooMahmoud that shows different vegetables and their prices. Under carrots it says "Not existed", under potatoes it says $86.4. Under cucumbers it says $10.8. Under onions it says $54. Under tomatoes it says $94.5. Under eggplants it says $10.8.

prices for the simplest items in North Gaza can fluctuate wildly, if they are available at all.

my friend Firas @firasmuhaisenn and his sister Nisreen are two first-year medical students who went to study in Egypt before the genocide started. their family is stuck in North Gaza and lost their source of income. i have posted about them extensively here Firas and Nisreen must not only pay for rent, food and necessities for themselves in Egypt, but they also have to make sure their family survives and has enough to eat.

to make sure the entire family can survive, they absolutely have to reach a weekly goal of $545 USD (= $734 CAD) while the possibility of the Rafah crossing opening soon remains, it is important we also think of these funds gathered as a form of Palestinian survival amidst a genocide. until the crossing reopens, Firas and his family need our help just to survive another day! anything you can give this family truly helps them feed themselves. let's help Firas and Nisreen, they are so young and can only carry so much on their shoulders! $0 / $545 USD (until 09/05/24)

My name is Ibrahim Youssef Hamad. I once had a home, but it was completely destroyed. I had big dreams and hopes for the future, longing for stability and a sense of security to protect myself and my family from harm. Unfortunately, none of that was realized, and now we are suffering in every possible way. We face hunger, malnutrition, poor living conditions, and a severe lack of medicine, food, and even basic necessities. Sadly, there is no one left to take care of us, and hope has faded away. You are our only hope.

I used to have my own business that provided for my family and fed them daily. Today, I have lost it all. Do you see this tragedy? Without work, we beg God to provide for us. Please, we ask you to donate even a small amount. Thank you.

My name is Ibrahim Hamad, and I live with my wife and our four children in Gaza. We have endured tremendous suffering due to the bloody war imposed on us, losing dear family and friends members. We have been displaced multiple times searching and seeking safety and secure , now we find ourselves living in a tent on the street without healthy food or water after our house was completely destroyed by bombing , in addition I have lost my small business after the warplane destroyed the store .

We appeal to you for support during this difficult time. We are in desperate need of your help to rebuild our home and restart a small source of income to support my family . I believe that generosity knows no bounds, and compassionate hearts can make a significant difference.

Your donation will be a beacon of hope, lighting our way through these dark times. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a big difference in our lives.

May God bless you .

they don't deserve any of this, u got terrible childhood? well surprise! palestinian children does not have any childhood

Y'all remember "cops aren't supposed to kill guilty people, either", right?

Palestinians who have done something wrong don't deserve to die beneath the rubble of their homes.

Palestinians who have done something wrong don't deserve to be shot with expanding bullets that cause massive tissue damage leading to amputation.

Palestinians who have done something wrong don't deserve to have their flesh burned away with white phosphorous.

Palestinians who have done something wrong don't deserve their fishing boats blown up.

Palestinians who have done something wrong don't deserve to see their husbands and fathers executed in front of them along evacuation routes.

Palestinians who have done something wrong don't deserve an anonymous phone call threatening to destroy their lives and families.

Palestinians who have done something wrong don't deserve to be detained for years without charges.

Palestinians who have done something wrong don't deserve to be tortured, starved, and sexually assaulted in prison.

Palestinians who have done something wrong don't deserve to be deprived of water.

Palestinians who have done something wrong don't deserve their olive trees to be uprooted while they look on.

Palestinians who have done something wrong don't deserve sixteen years of blockade.

Palestinians who have done something wrong don't deserve to be prevented from traveling for lifesaving medical care.

Palestinians who have done something wrong don't deserve this genocide.

it's the bare minimum to be a human

Allow me to say that celebrities are not really worthy of the huge amount of praise their fans give them when they do the bare minimum of posting a link for Palestine. These people have enough money in their accounts to last them a lifetime even if they lose job opportunities. You know who're the real brave ones? Average people who are trying to make ends meet with regular jobs, in the middle of economic crises and inflation, and they still do all that they can do to stand up for Palestine. Those people risk their jobs and risk getting blacklisted everyday. The students who are sacrificing their education and their future, the ones who are our future doctors, engineers, lawyers, teachers,...etc. are sacrificing it all to speak up about Palestine and the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. I'm tired of those of you who overly-praise celebrities who are not worthy of such praise. These celebrities are adults, not babies.

Average people on social media barely have a decent platform, yet are trying their best to keep going and keep talking about Palestine. We need the boost from celebrities. Using a platform as big as an average celebrity's platform can do a lot for Palestine and Palestinians.

And please do not blindly defend your faves. I will block anyone trying to defend any celebrity that has either remained silent, stood with Israel, or posted once and called it a day. This is an ethnic cleansing we're talking about. We need to talk about Palestine today, tomorrow, and until Palestine is free!

Your morals and humanity should come first!

The occupation forces do not spare any Palestinian alive or dead. What're the Zionists going to claim this time? Hamas leaders were hiding in graves and wrapped in shrouds?

Keep talking about Palestine!

KING FR 🗣‼️💥🔥👑

Nelson Mandela was in USA's terror watchlist until 2018. The guy who fought against apartheid state of South Africa, won a Nobel peace prize, became a president, a beloved character across the globe was in the terror watchlist of USA. So I wouldn't actually take murica's opinion about labeling a person or group of people as terrorists. Chances are they're actually fighting for the freedom of their country.

That's why they call Hamas terrorists instead of freedom fighters. In their eyes The Nelson Mandela was a terrorist.

Anyways as Nelson Mandela said

This Is Outrageous. The Kids Are Under A Month Old. Barely A Year Old And They're Dead. Barely 5 And

This is outrageous. The kids are under a month old. Barely a year old and they're dead. Barely 5 and dead. Barely 10 and dead already.

One family. Just one family takes up 2 pages of it.

And theres 212 pages of these families wiped out completely.

And still, "israel is the victim"

Victim my foot.

I condemn every action Hamas has done and the acts they will do in the future.

It is not an equal war when one side does not have an army and the death toll is way too high.

I'm so so sick of hearing "oh but they dont support lgbt"

I dont give a flying shit. I dont care about a person's or a communities's ideologies when they're being massacred, killed for Absolutely no reason. Idc about all those when it comes to a genocide.

This is not the damn time to look into those. Innocents are dying for every breathe we take and yet I still hear "oh but LGBT-"

Shut tf up. I'm so so so tired and sick of hearing it over and over again.

For once look on the other side, you will see helpless children. Children with their dreams shattered.

Israel is the devil idk what makes you think otherwise.

Besides, you pretend as if israel supports lgbt. You pretend as if they wont kill you for being a part of that community. Theres no confirmation they're not homophobic either. Stop spreading lies.

tumblr's ceo is pro isreal. like openly so on his twitter. thats why a lot of the palestine tags and posts are being censored

and whatever the fuck this retweet is supposed to mean:

He also retweeted this weird essay, I'll only give an excerpt:

https://href.li/?https://x.com/lessin/status/1718810964060156243?s=20

so.....? is it plausible to make the case that tumblr is willingly censoring Palestine advocates? by somehow also saying Palestinians around the globe who have been organizing for the past 75+ are actually super secret terrorists who want to blow up the whole world and have no reason to be advocating for their Land Back? Nefarious underground league of people who secretly are controlling your content to ruin your precious democracy that you've built to benefit yourselves? How offensive can you possible get?

I almost think it's useless to post this because I'll probably get nuked, but I still want to call it out when I see it because I refuse to allow the delusion that this platform is anything more than for the ultrarich techbros to make money. Corporations do not have your best interests in mind, and that goes for the people running those corporations too.

You all cry for free speech but when the speech is running freely you say it's against your better interests and shoot it in the back midstride.

If I get nuked it'll probably be because of this post. Mutuals feel free to ask for my discord or something.

Palestinians brought this upon themselves because they voted for Hamas. Haven't you heard?

Nevermind that that election was 17 years ago, or that they won by only 44% of the vote, or that they didn't win the majority in a single district.

Nevermind that 47% of the population in Gaza is under 18, with 40% under 14, and that these people literally didn't exist to vote back then.

You won't have seen this from the news, but a survey was done earlier this year regarding public opinion on Hamas. I'm going to show you some of their findings but you should read the whole article if you have time. Here: What Palestinians Really Think of Hamas

Palestinians Brought This Upon Themselves Because They Voted For Hamas. Haven't You Heard?

I am losing my mind

Convoys of ambulances taking the injured out of Gaza to get treated in Egypt (as agreed and coordinated between all parties) got targeted by Israeli warplanes

The convoys were in three separate parts of Gaza and all of them were targeted and bombed.

15 killed so far and tens are severely wounded.

I literally just posted a couple of hours ago about Israel deliberately targeting civilian cars fleeing the north in response to death threats and now this

This is as deliberate as can be

Israel is literally revelling in its impunity. This is exactly what happens when cunts run around in circles when Israel's crimes are brought up. Literal massacres against medical convoys. Just like there were massacres against refugee camps and massacres in hospitals and literal schools.

Keep advocating, keep posting, talk about this and call israel what it is: a terrorist state.
