I'd say he's to big and spikey so he might tear it, but then again he's worn other articles of clothing. So...yeah that is a good question. Why didn't he get a swimwear look?

rottmnt Raphael why didn't they give the big boy a cool swimwear? is it because it would've changed the intensity of savage raph? that makes sense it'd be funny we're introduced to savage raph and he's wear swimwear instead of that brown cloak which was cool savage raph is cool “RAPH ALOOONE!”
