ravenclaws won’t continue studying even when their head feels like it’s about to split open. ravenclaws will take a break, close their eyes, drink tea, and start again after a while. they know the information they study won’t be retained long, so what’s the use of it? they’ll just be wasting time for nothing.

I would definitely investigate the creepy and ominous noise. With the button, though, it depends... Was I given a reason not to press the button? Yes? Then I won't push the button...probably. No? That button was pressed faster than a buttered bullet. This has been a curse of mine since I was a child. It's honestly a wonder that I haven't won a Darwin award yet.
