Also fun fact, I’m a writer for a particular website so I’m here rn at SD Comic Con. It’s rough for a Thursday. I wanted to go to the Junji-Ito panel buttttt… there were some complications in the line.
First of all, this panel wasn’t even at the convention and being held at the Public Library which is very nice and I might consider going again. And the event was being held on the 9th floor, so wowza! Gotta be pretty fancy if they have 9 floors, right? Still not sure what happened, but they started moving people in line all the way back to the first floor and since the panel had already started after waiting for an hour, it was time to leave and make my trek back to the convention in the hot, hot sun.
Sweat continues to trickle down my back as I tried yet again to get into another popular panel only to find it has been spread into different sections a less several hallways. Tis the consequences of a popular convention so best to just cut my losses and find something in the exhibit hall.
So here I am over 2 hours early for a panel just so I can get in and reading a book so I don’t cry from the combined stress of the past few weeks.
Comic Con is awesome I swear, just the worms in my brain are saying;
“Hmm… reconsider.”

Omg my birthday happened several weeks ago, but I forgor to post about it. I am 17 now, I have reached the final year of being legally considered a child. I didn't make a drawing for this so have a silly ass gif of a birthday cake I found on google

Hmm… Lane is twice exceptional…
In her case, twice exceptional meaning she has a developmental disorder (autism) but is also intellectually gifted.
Can’t believe I didn’t see it earlier…🤔
Some signs:
• She didn’t cry as a baby.
• She was a quiet, calm child.
• Her parents thought she was strange.
• She didn’t play with other children.
• She preferred solitude over relationships.
• The way she played with her toys was “wrong.”
• She followed the same routines.
• She doesn’t fit into social norms.
• She easily recognizes patterns most are unable to connect.
• She has hyperlexia. She is fascinated by letters and numbers, loves rearranging them.
• She can hyperfocus on one thing for hours without a break. Even delaying sex to finish her job! 😂 Poor Dmitry.
The reason I’m thinking about this is because it reminds me of my daughter when she was a baby. She didn’t cry. She was a really easy baby. But she also played by lining things up. She knew all her phonics when she was 2. She started reading on her own when she 3. Sounds really similar to Lane, which makes me like her more. ❤️♾️
And it caused land disputes to. Bc there were islands that belonged to New Jersey, but the river belonged to New York. So when they made the islands bigger, they had to decide if it went to Jersey or NY.
