On this platform, there is always a lot of encouragement and reminders for readers to be kind to writers and I really like that but let's also remind writers to be kind to their readers, shall we?

I won't say names, but I had bad experiences with my favourite writers.

For example, such as when I only asked questions about their fanfic or blog. As far as I know, I always try to phrase it in a polite and kind tone that isn't harmful yet they answered with anger instead.

And even if they misunderstand or it's a misunderstanding, they lash out instead without further question or explanation...

It's kind of sad since this attitude discourages a reader from reading their fanfic or following their blog after.

All three variations of Lord Stanley's cup exist here. The oldest, when decommissioned; painstakingly deconstructed piece by piece, flattened, and put on displayed in frame; like a body's ribs in medical textbook. Lithograph photos of the hall of fame players/coaches/announcers, line every surface, and I could spend a day wandering around just this room finding my hero's, and the legends I learned about growing up. The giant stained glass skylight illuminates everything with a warm glow. Inside the pyramid of Summerhill. No lights. No ferrous metals. Aligned due north. Damn near pitch black we climb a narrow stairwell till we reach a room with a circle of chairs. Wine stored in its bowels for up to 30 years before sale. A statue of a golden goddess of some sort looks over us, next to the original wine racks, with bottles still in them. Off limits to everyone but us, the owner, and the, "occassional all female yoga party."
