why shadow the hedgehog could legally run for president of the united states of america

requirement #1 : over 35

ok so you have to be 35 to run for president right? well we all know shadow is LEGALLY in his 50s (even tho mentally hes supposed to be around 15) in all sonic media, so that's one requirement cleared.

requirement #2 : natural born citizen of the USA

now you might ask about the fact that movie verse shadow is an alien. however. he landed encased in an asteroid and was transported to a north american station of the international military group GUN's research lab overseen by commander walters (who is also a commander in the US military). it can be assumed that not only did shadow’s asteroid land on US soil since it was under american military jurisdiction, but that the GUN lab is also on US soil. he was later awakened and "born" from the asteroid in the US lab, meaning that shadow the hedgehog legally has american birthright citizenship. so second requirement, cleared for the movie verse! if we're taking from the sonic games a little more, gerald robotnik is said to be working specifically with the united federation sector of GUN, which is specifically made to be the in-game equivalent of the united states of america. therefore, the space colony arc is an american vessel and is governed by american laws. presumably, anyone born on that ship, which is functionally an american military base, would also have birthright american citizenship because prior to 2019 (and shadow was born 50 years ago) babies born to military members on us military bases were granted US citizenship automatically, not to mention the fact that shadow is an entity literally created and owned by the government of the american federation. also, if we're counting gerald robotnik as his "father", we can also assume that he has either been granted US citizenship or has a green card in order to be eligible to work for the US military, and if we assume the former than shadow would be considered a US citizen at birth even if he was born in international airspace. so second requirement, cleared in the game universe! (for the record there aren't like actual real laws dictating what happens if someone is born in space bc that hasn't happened so im being a little loose with my interpretation based on what laws there are about similar things but yknow)

requirement #3 : 14 year residency

he was also 15 in both universes before being put in cryosleep, meaning he operated as a resident of the USA either in the US in the movie verse or on a us military base in the game verse, so he'd meet the "14 years of residency" requirement, so 3rd requipment cleared!

crime?

and yeah sure he was basically imprisoned for 50 years but any crimes shadow may have committed wouldn't bar him from becoming president because we've already established that felons can be president this year so! there you go!

I like his apperance so much and i decided to make a full art with background. This darcarian is part of other subspecies, who lives in tundra. Because of cold and difficult access to resources they more centered around developing technologies than others.

In my universe actually magic and tech do not contradict each others. They both working with same laws of universe. And not matter will you create machines or perform rituals to achieve same goals.

Swtor is one of my favorite games last time. And i always like those imperial trooper armors. And for me this older armor is much better looking than clone/stormtrooper armors in the movies. So i did this art with myself equipped with this type of armor.

Desert Zaku Concept by Luna-II 

Since I played Shadow Generations, I went back to re-watch the opening cutscene of the 2005 game. And wow, my 8 year old brain definitely filtered some of the stuff in the intro, or didn't notice it because of how fast it played. The black arms are probably one of the most brutal factions in sonic history. They literally just drop out of the sky and start raising hell, which is unironically terrifying if you were just a civilian living in the city.

Like, look at the scene where the giant one tosses an entire car and causes an explosion. It rolls, and explodes right by a gun squad, ragdolling them all instantly. That's three or four people DEAD.

The next scene has a POV of a Gun Soldier, and you see a black arms trooper hop up on a car, and guns down a soldier. And another black arms on the left just walking casually shoots the other one (and continues shooting the dude's body, absolutely brutal.) The only gun soldier standing which is the soldier we have the POV of, gets attacked by one of the flying black arms. That's presumably three more dead, possibly even more, since the one on top of the car continues shooting at something off screen.

Even while GUN troops are getting destroyed, not even civilians are safe, because although the car this behemoth lands on is empty, he slams a civilian car into the building. I thought it was a cop car, but this is a solid black car, no white doors or anything. All of the civilians in that car (Possibly a family with children) are now gone.

The final scene in the intro is probably the most brutal, because of how much stuff happens in just a few seconds. In fact if you blink you'll probably miss it, so I zoomed in a little.

On the top left you can see a squad of three GUN soldiers being absolutely demolished by some sort of explosion launched by the Black Arms troopers charging at them. Then those same troops keep sprinting past their bodies and begin shooting at presumably more people between the buildings who were probably survivors trying to hide.

On the lower right we see that there's an entire horde of them, a behemoth throwing a police car at something off screen. (Probably a person) and all around him there's like a dozen or so black arm troops walking around and shooting at everything and everyone (once more off screen)

I find this one the most disturbing for two reasons. One is that if you look closely, some of them who are hanging behind the parade are just purposefully shooting at wrecked cars and debris piles. Which could mean either they're purposefully causing as much destruction as possible, or they're trying to scare survivors out. (They even bothered animating the sparks of laser bolts hitting the cars and walls, which meant the animators purposefully animated some of them doing that.)

The other reason I find it somewhat unnerving is that the idea of an entire horde of black arm troops just walking down the street and brutally massacring the town, and in such a casual manner as if it's a completely normal thing.

All those people dead in like a twenty or thirty second timespan. The fact that somehow all this stuff was in a sonic game. A SONIC GAME. ONLY RATED E 10 AND UP, LIKE NONE OF THIS WAS WORTH THE TEEN RATING?

H O W ? !

Back in the 2000s, people accused this game of blatantly copying the Covenant from the Halo series, and even if they did, they definitely were faithful to the original material, considering they kept in the part of the aliens wanting to genocide humanity and will gun down any human they see.

Anyways rambling over. I love Shadow and I love his game. :-)

Unhinged Angel

Angel calmly leads the man into the alleyway. He had challenged them to a fight after all, and though Ren had done his best to de-escalate the situation, the man had just turned on him instead.

That’s what made Angel snap.

Day in, day out, they dealt with disgruntled customers yelling at them about something or another as though Angel had personally gone out of their way to ruin this person’s life. They were used to it by now. Not happy, but desensitized, numb.

But when that man turned on Ren and started calling him vile, filthy names, mocking him for standing up for Angel, something inside them broke. Their face changed from an empty stare to widened eyes and a tight smile.

And that brought the unlikely group here. A clearly nervous Ren, his hands clenched into shaking fists and a wide-eyed, concerned look on his face. An eerily calm Angel, leading a fuming man deeper into the alley, away from witnesses, though he was too angry to realize the danger. It isn’t until Angel turns around, a dead look in their eyes and their smile nowhere to be seen that he finally pauses. But it was already too late.

Angel makes eye contact with Ren, indicating for him to leave with a tilt of their head. He wants to do anything other than leave his Angel alone right now, but figures he would be more use as [Redacted], so he reluctantly leaves, mumbling something about calling for help. Angel carefully watches them leave before they refocus on the man. He was now pushing up his sleeves, posturing for a fight. Before he even gets a chance to advance, Angel reveals a pistol, aiming and pulling the trigger without even a flinch.

It takes the man a moment to react, staring for a split second before crumpling with a howl, grabbing at his leg in pain. Angel calmly cocks the gun, and aims once more, hitting his right arm this time. Rolling their eyes at the man’s screams, they unravel the scarf from around his neck and shove the end into his mouth, causing him to gag and choke on the fabric.

Without a change in expression, Angel cocks the gun one more time, regarding the man beneath them. He was openly sobbing now, though his cries were muffled by his own scarf. He writhed around, making sounds and gestures adjacent to pleas of mercy. Before he could crawl too far away, Angel pinned him with a shoe on his back.

They shake their head exasperatedly, “You know… I don’t care about you. I don’t care about much of anyone, including myself. But you know who I do care about?” They pause before answering their own question, clearly not expecting an answer from the sniveling man, “Ren. And you know what happens when you threaten the last fucking thing someone cares about when they have nothing left to lose?”

Angel chuckles, their tone devoid of humor, “Ah, but I suppose it’s too late for you to do anything with that information, isn’t it?”

They straighten, stepping off the man and watching as he futilely resumes his desperate crawl before ending it with a final smoking round from the gun into the back of his head. Blood splattered all across the alleyway and onto Angel’s skin, blemishing it with a dark shade of red.

“A- Angel?”

Angel’s head whips up, meeting a pair of baby blue eyes. There Ren stood, outlined in light like an angel, a hand obscuring the lower half of his face. His eyes were wide, shocked, horrified; no doubt at the scene that lay before him.

Angel’s impassive exterior melts into a look of panic, “W- Wait. No- Ren, it isn’t- It was self defense I swear!” They click the safety on before tossing the gun away and opening their hands in innocence, advancing on Ren as they did so.

Inexplicably, instead of drawing back away from them, he stumbles forward, eyes flicking between Angel and the man on the ground, motionless. Angel pauses maybe ten feet away, unsure of what to say and wary of the wide-eyed look Ren still carried.

Ren mumbles between his fingers, still treading towards them, “Angel… I never thought… I didn’t know you would do something like this…”

Angel’s eyes tear up at his words, “Ren please, I didn’t mean to, I really didn’t! Please just- just don’t… don’t leave me…” Their words trail off and they look down, unable to meet Ren’s eyes that were always filled with such innocence.

Or at least, that’s what they had thought. But as Ren’s hand slips from his own face to cup theirs, Angel sees something entirely unexpected. He was smiling. A deranged kind of smile that they would have been wary of before, but now, they lean into his open palm, accepting him fully and practically begging with their eyes for him to do the same.

Luckily, he needed no convincing as his breaths were shaky, catching in his throat as he looked at them with the most intense eyes they had ever seen. Love-struck through and through, as though Angel was the only thing that kept the sun rising and falling. His state of mind was clear as day when he tugged them in closer, his hands trembling with excitement and his hold reigned in just enough to not inflict pain.

Ren leans down, burying his face into Angel’s neck with a helpless laugh, “Oh, my Angel.”

His gaze locks on to the unmoving body behind his love, his smile growing hopeful in a sinister way as he murmurs, “I’m not going anywhere.”

Pov: you slanderer all might

I reeeaally like her design. This is Ruberta and she handles guns, alot of guns. I don’t remember why I gave her one eye, that might make it hard to aim.

How do the rings in the sonic movies work?

The rings work as portals once you throw them and think about wherever you want to go pretty simple and straightforward

But they seem very easy to get

long claw, tails, and knuckles all had rings to travel to different worlds

Not to mention in the knuckles show G.U.N. was shown to have the rings under their possession

I would’ve expected the rings to have exclusive to planet mobian in the movies

And You can chalk this up as G.U.N. retrieved them from the snow in the Himalayas

But then how did sonic, tails, and knuckles get more in the third movie

I doubt that G.U.N. Would given them some rings especially if they thought Sonic had a chance to catch shadow from the first encounter

So how did they get more rings

The rings have to be pretty easy to make considering they are one use only

I feel like the rings have a connection to the master emerald with how they generate the portals

I couldn’t find sonic movie gifs with the master emerald

tapping into the master emerald energy as a power source

A lot of this stuff is just thoughts I have about how the rings might work I don’t if has been any lore that had been confirmed by the movies creators so please take this as grain of salt
