does Diane know about what truly happened with her mom/when did she fund out that Martin and the crew were lying to her

ok, you might have to sit down cause this might be long.

There would be times where Diane would ask what happened to her mom and Martin would be hesitant about it because talking about his ex is a sensitive topic to him. So Martin and the crew would just say that her mom "died from childbirth"

The reason they repeatedly tell her that Elphaba "died from childbirth" because Diane wouldn't fully understand as to why her mom left when she was a baby.

during that time she's about 9-10

Diane found out about being lied too when she somehow came across Elphabas old diary (Elphaba left the diary so Diane would could read it in the future before leaving) when snooping in Martins room while he was on a creature rescue (Jimmy was supposed to be looking after her, but fell asleep).

"Diary Entry 142: I plan to leave tomorrow morning even though I'm still weak from birthing Diane. I know this is wrong, leaving a child as soon as they're born. But it's for the best, I don't want her to end up like me"

After reading half the diary, Diane was beyond furious about the fact that she was being lied to her whole life.

When Martin returned, Diane immediately confronted and questioned him, turning it into a full grown argument between the two (the crew witnessed it but really didn't say anything because they were afraid to accidentally make things worse by intervening).

Words are said, truths come out and feelings are hurt.
