Small Dishonored comics.
I’ve started working on it a loooong time ago, but never had energy to finish. Here are the first 2 pages (out of 3).
expression memes part 2/?
Happy dishonorversery
[Start ID. A brown-toned comic of P3RI, the artist's botsona. They lament on how long it's been since they've played Dishonored, start playing it again, and then lie to itself that it'll keep this playthrough casual. The bottom quarter of the image lists the self-imposed challenges they rack up. End ID]
back at it again folks
select a teleportation skill
blink - no charge up, no cooldown, range up to 10m (~30ft), can travel up to 300km (~185mi) a day, can only teleport self + items being carried on self
transport - 10 minute charge up, 8 hour cooldown, range up to 1000km (~620mi), can teleport self, items on self, and anyone holding your hand
recall - 5 minute charge up, 4 hour cooldown, range up to 2000km (~1200mi), can teleport self, items on self, and anyone holding your hand, but can only teleport back to a specific designated static area that can only be changed once every 6 months
mass travel - 30 minute charge up, 1 week cooldown, can teleport to anywhere on earth, can teleport every designated person and item in a radius of 10m (~30ft)
yandere - no charge up, 1 hour cooldown, can teleport to anywhere on earth, but can only teleport to one designated person you have an unhealthy obsession with
The real moral of Dishonored is that autistic people can teleport
[Start ID. A poorly-edited version of the "Girls, did you know... That umm," meme. It follows up with "Dishonored: Definitive Edition" in the third panel, and in the final panel, "Is free on the Epic Games Store for 13 more hours, and 75% off until Jan 5th on Steam, which is holding a site-wide sale and you should get your games now." End ID]
Disclaimer: Some sources say the Epic Games sale also lasts until Jan 5. Either way play Dishonored
happy ace awareness week to all! be aware of him. Daud is a trained assassin and Aphobes Die By His Blade
[Start ID. A digital drawing of Daud from Dishonored, in a lightened palette that only includes the four colors of the asexual flag. Everything upwards of his belt is visible, and he is standing with his arms held straight beside him. The non-scarred half of his face is blank, as a manner of stylization. He holds his usual stern look. End ID]
Aughhhh why do I never set reminders for things. Anyway happy day-late tenth birthday to Dishonored :)
I meant to finish up more sketches for this but. Found out 4/5 of my favorite games have silent protagonists
On a related note I may have played Dishonored more than Hollow Knight and Bug Fables combined
Tried to make some palettes and ended up testing out four of the six so here: a Mosa, two Leifs, and dragon Corvo
*turns them into dragons*

Hollow Knight and Dishonored spoilers below the cut:
--
Dh1 Corvo and Ghost:
-Silent protagonists who gain void-related powers to help them progress. Only the first power is actually required to beat the game, though the others make it much easier.
-Magical abilities are gifted at least partially by a black-eyed god
-Have close relations to a ruler who died after trying to save their kingdom from a pandemic. The sickness is not well understood, even after extensive research, and was brought by a usurper who was jealous/envious of the ruler's power. All attempts at containing the sickness failed, but it's (implied to be) cured in some endings
-The kingdom they leave for a while after the pandemic begins, re-enter, and then traverse is not doing so well, and the vast majority of its inhabitants try to kill them. Many of said inhabitants have lost their minds from the aforementioned disease
-Can kill the usurper late in the game
-Can kill rich people
-Most of their allies die. Can kill allies themselves
-Friends with a kind old dude serving as their main method of long-distance transportation (kind old dude does luckily not die)
-Despite being almost perpetually in contact with it, never actually get the sickness. Their biology (possibly-genetically-immune-serkonan, hollow void being) likely prevents it
-Worlds probably take place in the same time period (according to fans anyway; most human AUs I've seen of HK are at least somewhat inspired by victorian england)
-The name of one popular ship in each of their fandoms involve weapons?? One person in the ship is red, associated with the person who brought the disease, and can be killed by the protagonist (though in HK's case, both members apply to these criteria)
-Their empires/kingdoms call themselves the only ones when there clearly are more civilizations out there
--
Dh2 Emily and Hornet
-Protagonists of sequel games, major characters in the first games and close relatives of the first game's protagonists
-Daughters of royalty and trained to fight (likely from a young age)
-Heirs to the throne of the first game’s kingdom/empire but can’t actually become queens/empresses because Sequel Game Plot gets in the way
-Technically they can die in one of the first game’s endings but no one regards it as canon
-I haven’t actually played Silksong (duh) or Dishonored 2 yet though so this list may get much longer
Some crossovery nonsense
Text-based stuff and individual images under the cut
It's unlikely anything Ghost's wearing actually belongs to them. Since having thousands of children and then abandoning all but one of them to die isn't very socially acceptable or physically possible, PK and WL--aristocrats rather than rulers now--had more like seven children or something, and I'm not sure if they got rid of the six who aren't the Hollow Knight somehow or actually raised them normally. It's most likely that they instead had just one heir, THK, but Ghost wouldn't exist in that case so whatever. They're just running around Gristol murdering people it's fine
Pendleton is a weevil, Martin's a snakefly and Havelock's a scorpion, Corvo's a velvet spider, Samuel is a water boatman, Daud's an assassin bug and Billie's an ant. While giving them their most recognizable traits (and while assigning each of them an actual clade of Real Life Bug, something Hollow Knight isn't particularly known for), I realized it's probably more sensible for them to have their own Empire and society (and biology) outside of Hallownest.
I'm not developing anything for Delilah I just wanted to draw her as a LeafWing
was playing the Knife of Dunwall again guess what happened
i am Struggling to draw this man
Can you imagine these two working together
I think I just discovered a new ship
