Project Dragon / Everhaven

I heard about Project Dragon aka Everhaven on Twitter/X through game artist Nicholas Kole's social media posts. It looked like a very interesting game; choosing from a variety of fictional races besides humans, taming animal mounts, building our own land and exploring the world. I was surprised by how close it was to being announced before Phoenix Labs canceled the game weeks before release.

I want to see it brought back and finished! #BringBackProjectDragon! Spread the word!

Project Dragon was a game that was in development for 3 years only to be canceled weeks from its announcement and its entire art and development team laid off by the Phoenix Labs. The game (which would have been called 'Everhaven' upon release) was intended to be a multiplayer sandbox rpg taking inspiration from both Minecraft and Breath of the Wild, with an art style similar to that of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which some of the team members also worked on along with Crash Bandicoot 4.

According to character design/illustrator Nicolas Kole "Our cancelled project of the last 3 years is officially, truly dead as of today (internal attempts to save it failed), and the embargo on the whole body of portfolio work has been lifted". This means that the only way the game has a chance of resuming development is by raising awareness and spreading the word of it's development. Hey yall, I wanna make another dragon puppet and use clay on it, and I made up a concept but idk how to color it, so I made up some color pallets for u to pick from! ^^

Which one do you guys like best? I’m leaning toward 1 or 3…

IVE DONE IT

Introducing the Fruitwings! A small tribe with a low temper and big hearts! They tend to be solitary unless in groups with family members or bonded duos/triads! They have slight sexual dimorphism with males having light horns and females having darker scale colors! They tend to have bright, vibrant scales with lighter underbellies and dark, flexible spikes that frame their silhouette. Their most common colors are bright greens, yellows and oranges, with cooler colors tending to be more rare. They love fruit and basking beneath the sun on cool days, and are nocturnal!

I loved drawing this and I had a blast coloring it! A lot of their design came directly from @Insert-name ‘s concept sketches! I briefly considered making them like flamingoes and having whatever fruit they eat being their scale color but ultimately decided against it due to them not having feathers and the nature of most fruit. I also named them Fruitwings so that we can make them ANY fruit type we want!! Mango, grape, dragonfruit, banana, orange, lemon, apple, blueberry, strawberry, blackberry, raspberry, hell, nightshade berries can all be available as colors for these bad boys! Hope you like them guys, because I think they’re awesome! And I would love to make more! #^ ^# see yall later, got something cookin in the oven rn so you guys might see it very soon!

inspired by @spookys1fan and seagull the seawing, doodles of a dragon species based off bananas~

idk what to name them, but i'm putting them in the universe with the rest of the majority of the dragon species i make~

they live in tropical forests and can't fly as a hatchling because their wings are stuck to their body until they're older~ as they age, thier scales soften and they turn yellow, then as they age more they get even softer and turn brown~

although they're omnivorous, they prefer to eat fruit or leaves and are basically vegetarians~ But if they get in a fight with something like a predator and win, they'll eat it~

the soft "spines" on their back are actually very soft (unless the dragon is still green/young), although for intimidation can be 'fluffed up' like bird feathers to seem bigger~ they can also rarely drop their tails, and fully grow them back after a few months~

the shell-face serves no real purpose, maybe they're clumsy and keep bashing their faces into trees ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A blob girl! I was inspired by my recent red blood cell design. This one's not a cell, just a blob. I need to do research into the other blood cells before I start drawing them.

Still watching Cells at Work and it reminded me of an idea I had back in the day. It was about drawing my own versions of the cells, but as eldritch type creatures.

My art leans more cutesy these days, I just rolled with it. This is a version of a red blood cell! She holds oxygen and/or CO2 in her 'hat' and 'skirt'.

Some recent art, concepts for a show/comic book that may happen within the next 50 years. Maybe.

He was promising

Showing great potential

Climbing through the rankings

The perfect person to take over the terra imperium

Then came sailor kid

They distracted him

With the foolish thing called love

They planned to run

From the imperium

From their stress

From their caretakers

From their destiny

What Cowards they were.

Their plans were overheard

He was imprisoned for his treason

And sailor kid was to be executed in front of him.

But he was Weak.

For he managed to escape his cell

And was able to free them for a short time

But he can't escape this punishment twice.

Some older art I either never posted anywhere or still think is cool or both.

1 & 2. More detailed background practice. First one is Tom from Eddsworld, the second is my bro sitting in our imaginary apartment.

3. Stupid Eddsworld doodle

4. Another background practice piece but also because I really wanted to draw my baby girl Quinton being silly in a radio room. I love them.

5. Technically concept art? It later inspired a videogame concept called Catastrophe Castle. This is the main antagonist. I use me and my friends as inspiration a LOT.

6 & 7. Pixel art I made for a silly slasher au I made of me and my friends. I randomized all of our roles and made it into a big murder mystery. It never really went anywhere, and I lost access to the account I was using to post art, but I still liked it. It was my first time really trying to do pixel art, and I had a blast.

8 & 9. More videogame concept art. It was a game called Blue Noise. It looks depressing, but it was more of a gloomy slice of life with a happy ending.

10. My design for the communicators I imagine are used in Minecraft. I know nothing about tech. I just like the idea of mashing together a lot of other technology together into one device.

I finished my design for Lord Mammon Sin of Avarice (Greed). I did some searching, and apparently, toads and foxes are linked/symbols of greed.

Also, 4 arms for him to steal/hold more.

But he is absolutely a swindler. He is the tallest of the high deamon lords and is particularly good friends with the sin of envy and is a complete kiss-ass to Lucifer. He's not a fan of my sona, but he tolerates them. Don't be fooled by his size he's one of the faster lords

And here we have my Plauge Marine Greater possessed/Demon Prince oc. I dot really have a ton of personal lore on her yet, but she does lead my custom Death Gaurd Warband "The Masque of the Crimson Rot"

Their colour scheme is red with gold trim and pail pink flesh, and their energy is green.

Here we got Hestia (fem Vulkan) as her evolved form a true Salamander. Though I didn't use any salamanders for the design. She's definitely going to be one of the more feral and beast like ones.

One fun thing I thought of, was the grimdark irony of the primarch most associated with hugs and physical touch being covered in spikes. Also, her saliva is pure magma that her rough scales carry to her mouth
