You don’t really get to see modern Fae Luffy in this au so I just had to draw what I think he’d look like, I’ll maybe draw more fanart of this au in future because its consuming my brain and I want to make some Sabo art at some point lmao.

Me nerding about it:
I wanted to give him that fae look by giving him pointed ears clear skin and those goddamn neon eyes, I also gave him some gold earrings because why have so much ear if you never pierce ears.
For his shirt I wanted to keep the red shirt but give it a more forest fantasy look, I slightly based it more on the post time skip, which takes me to the open back shirt, listen. It’s fancy it’s cool it serves let me have this please I’m just a girl.
His belt has some gold accents and bags to carry food and shiny things.

I gave him longer sandals simply because that’s the only way on gods green earth I could see them surviving half the shit he does to them.

I wasn’t really happy with my designs, especially with heket, I wanted her to be muscular but chubby enough that you would know that she was a couch potato (Or I guess in her case; cannibal potato) and also look badass. But I didn’t know how until I found @awful-little-goose for their little notes on drawing their heket, I tried to not copy it too closely, but also follow their advice on drawing her because it is almost exactly how I envision heket so I tried my hand at drawing her in their style to get a feel for it. Huggy Scared me today…
I brought Sissy with me to the factory today, I wanted her to meet my friends. And it was going well, Cat Bee really liked her… but when I went to show Huggy and Kissy, Huggy freaked out! He picked me up and kept me away from my Sissy. He started growling at her like an angry dog. He scared everyone… even his own Sissy. I actually thought Huggy was going to hurt or bite Sissy with the way he bared his teeth at her. Lisa and She protected her and told Huggy he was acting like a bully. Huggy and the girls got into a big argument. Huggy did a screech and then I started crying. When Huggy saw I was crying, he tried to calm me down but I couldn’t stop crying. Kissy took me away from Huggy, picked up Sissy, and we went to another room away from the argument. Kissy asked if I was scared of her now too, but I told her, I wasn’t scared of Huggy or anyone here, I wasn’t scared at all! (well maybe a little). I was crying because it reminded me too much of when Sissy and Mommy would fight and argue with Daddy… and those fights would always end up with Sissy and Mommy getting hit. And what scared me was that I thought that one of them were going to hurt each other. Once everyone calmed down, Kissy took me and Sissy to see Huggy and the girls. She translated Huggy’s signing for me… he said “I’m sorry Lelu, I shouldn’t have let you see any of that, I understand if you are scared of me now…” Kissy and I explained to all three of them the reason I started crying. It turns out, Kissy and Huggy didn’t trust my Sissy… but after getting to know her over the next few days, I think she’s starting to grow on Kissy. I can’t say I’m surprised though, they both love fashion! I hope that doesn’t happen again though… it really worried me…

“Yeah… so, about earlier… do you want to talk about it?”

“Lelu told me you were arguing with Lisa and She… it must’ve been something to make her that upset… I can’t see those two, sometimes they’ll leave me notes when Lelu isn’t around, but that’s the only time I get to talk with them directly. But… I’m sorry…”

“I was just trying to get my sister away from you because… well, you’re huge and she’s, ya know, tiny. But think I get it, you were worried about her too weren’t you? That’s why you grabbed her in the first place. And I understand, I mean, Lisa and She weren’t too fond of me and my family in the beginning, or ANY adults. It took a while for them to trust me or my mom enough, and they did whatever it took to keep Lelu safe. But again… I’m sorry…
“… *signs* No I am the one who should be sorry… me and my sister were hurt by bad adults… and thanks to them I lost a very dear friend of mine as well… so ever since then, anyone who comes in here…”

thinking about little luffy being so interested in the beetles and butterflies he saw around in the woods but always frustrated bc he couldn't learn more about them. so one morning ace and sabo secretly go to a library while luffy is still sleeping to steal take some books about entomology and luffy is so so happy he hugs them so hard they can't breathe (ace complains loudly right after that but sabo can see him smiling against his shoulder when he thinks no one is watching him)
