Not to be a total bird nerd, but the sparrow featured in the photo is actually an eurasian tree sparrow which is technically not a sparrow ( the most common and reffered to sparrow is a house sparrow which you can recognise by the top of their head being grey) but from the sparrow family

but in my language they have two different names
very cool art tho!!
eurasian sparrows also look a lot cleaner so i see why you might want to use them for reference
with house sparrows you cant exactly see their wing patterns clearly
