TBH I started this doodle page as I was thinkin about @blitzxiiru 's 2012 future designs... which I do way more than what can be considered normal... You can probably see some of the influence they had in these drawings :))

I always loved the turtles' 2012 clothes. But, RiseLeo with these clothes. I think it looks great on him, it gives him a serious and somber look, don't you think?

First time drawing something other than rise woohoo lets go!
WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS
When Donnie touches the ground, he flinches.
His entire body tries to curl inward at the pain and he gives a tiny, barely audible gasp. Leo’s hand shoots up immediately.
He seems to hesitate, moving slowly and oh-so gently resting it on Donnie. And Donnie’s entire body relaxes.
His shoulders stiffen as his body acknowledges sudden contact against his chest, probably because that too is causing some pain.
AND YET: His mouth falls shut. The pain on his face smooths out. His head falls forward, his shoulders rise, all angling towards Leo.
And Leo’s eyes are what tells the entire story. They (expectantly) never leave him at any point and there’s not much expression to be noted outside of a mixture of sad/guilt/worried.
Then he lays his hand on Donnie.
And his little brother leans into it. He relaxes at the touch.
AND LEO’S ENTIRE FACE FALLS.
Out of everything happening right now, THAT’S what makes him look like he’s hurting. THAT’S what stops the leader from worrying and introduces the big brother who’s beyond disappointed in himself.
That tiny bit of subconscious comfort that Donnie reveals while leaning into the touch of the person who helped hurt him.
THAT is going to be what haunts him from this moment on.

I always liked the idea of 2k12 Leonardo coaching 2k18 Leo on how to be a leader and this song felt like it got my point across.

I feel like Rise Raph, if he met any alternate versions of his brothers, he would just casually pick them up like he does with his own brothers. Except they wouldn't be used to it like the Rise turtles are, so they'd just start panicking instead
Anyway I found a new brush that I really liked the look of, so I tested it out with some turtle doodles
So I decided to redraw one of my favorite scenes from #tmnt2012 cause the way they hold onto each other is too cute and I also love their expressions so I couldn't resist it 🥺💚
And here's a lighter version cause I liked this one a lot too ⬇️
To anyone who would like to know I LOVE TMNT 2012 and I'm a bit addicted to it right now so I plan on making more artwork of them soon 💚

Y'all I was watching tmnt 2012 and season 4 and like, Who does Leo think he is to make fun of raph for likeing mona. Mr IN LOVE WITH HIS SISTER Telling raph that he must be going crazy for likeing the obvious cool girl. And saying it's a bad idea to reason with them, THAT EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO WITH KARAI WHAYS GOING ON HIS HEAD. Anyway I'm having fun
One particularly bad fight with shredder:
Shredder:this is it turtles call your sensi or else.
Donnie: no, we still got one more trick up our sleeves
Donnie:*hands Mikey headphones and an mp3
Mikey:*confusingly takes it*oh I love this song*starts dancing*
