“Do you imagine at night someone going to bed the very moment you are going to bed? Turning out the light? And isn’t it so quiet you swear the heart is telepathic. Isn’t it—”

not 2 sound whiny but i wish more attention was given to the importance of art and literature and philosophy and other humanities again so they'll return to being a really great part of what shapes a decade or an era instead of being seen as useless because they don't fit into the capitalist ideal of a productive society

Dreams flooded over me; I lay weary and hopeless in my bed.

In a way, you are poetry material; You are full of cloudy subtleties I am willing to spend a lifetime figuring out. Words burst in your essence and you carry their dust in the pores of your ethereal individuality.

Grief

I walk ahead silently;

I can hear my shoes;

Clicking as they reach the ground.

Click clack,

Click clack.

I suppose I should be crying

I swear to you I'm trying

But my eyes are fully dry.

There's too much inside of me

But not enough to come out.

Ironically, I will never be able to truly articulate what goes on within me, what consumes me…ever.

What a marvelous feeling it would be,

What A Marvelous Feeling It Would Be,
What A Marvelous Feeling It Would Be,
What A Marvelous Feeling It Would Be,

if we could say exactly how we felt.

What A Marvelous Feeling It Would Be,
What A Marvelous Feeling It Would Be,
What A Marvelous Feeling It Would Be,

What a monumental victory.

What A Marvelous Feeling It Would Be,
What A Marvelous Feeling It Would Be,
What A Marvelous Feeling It Would Be,

What a terrifying thought.
