You know, and I'm just musing idly tbh but;

I think Post-Never Arc Philza should become very paranoid about and protective of Forever because of the awful guilt and self-blame he puts on himself.

Because he saw what happened with the Happy Pills arc front and center, tried to pull Forever out of it only to realize it was a very serious problem he needed help with, logic and trying to talk things out was not going to fix it when it wasn't really Forever in control. Then there was the Nether stuff that went on, and Forever was trapped in another dimension.

And now the Never Arc is going down, and Phil's first reaction is to blame himself. He didn't reach out, didn't push to see what was going on, didn't try to ask what was wrong. To Phil, this may not be his fault, but he could have maybe stopped it before it got so bad, and that's on him.

And Philza never liked the whole presidency as a proud anarchist, but he knew Forever did it out of protection and for good reasons, if it wasn't Philza would have removed Forever from his life and likely the presidency in any means possible. Instead, he laughs and complains about it and instead focuses his attention on the Federation and their corrupt ways.

But I don't think he realized how much being President would put Forever in danger by both the Federation and other's. Forever tried to disobey the Federation, tried to cut his puppet-government assigned strings, and got forcibly medicated for it.

Idk if we know why Forever was chosen to be possessed (well in game wise lol) but it's not a long shot to say Forever was likely targeted because of his possession as a figurehead or with the other parents and the Eggs, he's someone people trust for a reason.

So to get back to my original point;

I think Phil should realize this and go all concerned friend/mother-hen about it. Checking up on him regularly, push him to talk about what's going on, paranoid something like this will happen again, Protective of when the Feds or other's get close to him, etc etc. I think Forever should like/appreciate the attention, but he gets really annoyed or upset about it sometimes.

Idk I just think it would be neat. And I just love Sugarduo AND hurt/comfort lol

I love how much of a subtle powerhouse q!Phil is? I’m not quite sure how to say this but what I mean is like.. Phil is good at pvp but when you see him next to a lot of others he’s the ‘good but not as good as x person’ so it kind of flies under the radar right up until you’re on the other end of his sword.

At this point everybody is aware of how insanely observant Phil is (seriously, it’s actually so fucking impressive). The invis admin Phil called out for being able to hear their footsteps, the bird(?) that he saw in the horizon, that time he saw mobs dying faintly in the distance and immediately said it was Etoiles, IMMEDIATELY clocking that code Chayanne and Tallulah weren’t his kids (which to this day is one of my fav qsmp moments because it’s actually so cool and just the instant sense of alarm as Phil gets suspicious), etc etc.

He’s connected dots super quick with lore shit (most recent example with Forever being possessed) and just generally has super smart moments I love, but as much as everyone sees all of that I feel like often it happens in the background enough or infrequently enough that it’s fairly subtle until you look at everything together. Phil just kind of sits in the background being quietly a badass until suddenly shit goes down and then he’s often the first person paying attention and starting to fight.

I just love that Phil is hanging out in the background quite often letting things happen around him and taking it all in, and then the moment someone he cares about is in danger he just suddenly has a bunch of information and is like ‘yeah I noticed this thing earlier’ and has a bunch of skills that help people out with stuff (info on mob farms, a shit ton of vanilla meta and info, etc.).

All this to say, I love q!Phil and I am holding him gently in my hands but also standing back in awe watching him do cool shit.

Every time Phil has his wings out and crouches next to an egg, it looks like he's putting a wing around them and it's just TOO FUCKING CUTE. And he's always been in the habit of crouching next to typing eggs so it just keeps happening idk how to survive this

How is Philza fucking Minecraft the one involved with so much lore rn?

Whys he collect storylines like Pokemon cards huh? I wouldn't be surprised if he somehow gets pulled into Forever's lore and stumbles into Ratoier. Wtf is happening with Phil and why is he becoming centered around all the lore???

I've said it once and I'll say it again-

Philza's acting has gotten so incredibly good- especially for improve!! The fact that he had no idea about the onslaught of lore he'd get hit with, but so easily rolled with it and acted so well.

I can't it was supposed to be a chill day with Chayanne and I come back to all this shit going down. Luffy asks for help trying to find his friends (Fit, Tubbo, Bagi) the one eye f***s come and try and take Luffy back to the big eyeball man who Luffy doesn't like. And then right as we think it's over the federation comes and forces Luffy to go with them while holding Phil back with a lasso.

Wednesday will be interesting. I really hope Chayanne will be ok and that rose can protect him and Taulluah. Phil just got them back and I know he won't let them go so easily.

I loved that Chayanne was watching over Taulluah while she was sleeping. Best sidings ever ❤️❤️❤️

Poor Chayanne

Father and son bonding is so cute. At least they have Rose looking out for them. I hope Phil can rescue Luffy and that Chayanne and Tallulah will be safe.... But knowing this island I am kinda scared for Wednesday.

i think it could be really fun to write a crowmonster!philza and warrior!etoiles au for the soul purpose of writing their little "sparring" matches where instead of beating each other with sticks it's just etoiles wrestling his big ol dragon-esque monster friend. etoiles clinging onto phil's back/tail feathers as phil tries to buck him off. phil holding etoiles in his beak and shaking him around like a chew toy. etoiles hooking an arm/rope around phil's throat and phil doing this great big dramatic roaring cry as he stumbles and flops onto his back and "dies", talons in the air, twitching, also crushing etoiles in the process. everyone else looking on with bewildered concern as phil seems to be gnawing etoiles' arm off and etoiles is just lying there declaring deadpan, "ohhh no he is too strong, the monster has defeated me, he is killing me, it is so slow and painful, i am dying, ggs bro, ggs." (<-he is perfectly fine, phil is only play-mauling)

other fun points:

phil tossing etoiles around in the air like he weighs literally nothing

etoiles pinning one of phil's wing-arms behind his back like its no big deal

etoiles ripping out some of phil's feathers during one of their play fights and phil freezing mid-thrash just to shoot him the flattest, most offended look to ever come from a non-human creature

phil accidentally going too far and ripping up etoiles' shoulder and phil just becoming the biggest, most whimpery apologetic mass of feathers and spikes as etoiles pats his beak and tells him it's no problem, it doesn't even hurt that bad (and phil just wails louder)

both of them nudging/bugging/poking each other when they're bored to goad the other into a play fight, with varying degrees of success

*Taps Mic*

When Phil goes into Lore Mode he cuts off his camera and fully jumps into character. He uses his voice to its full potential and I LOVE it.

You can hear the wonder in his voice when he first saw the shrine Rose made. The desperation when he was begging for his eggs back in the birdhouse is brutal. The sadness is clear as day in his tone when he came back and couldn't find his children. And don't get me started on the uneven laughs and sighs that happen when he tries to steal himself. Or tries to get himself happy again.

But when he's angry?

Unless he's already in lore mode, there's no need to turn off his camera. No no no my friends. The Angel of Death can slip into anger quite easily.

You hear the quiver in his voice clear as day. Be mindful that it's not from fright. It's purely from him holding back. His tone is sharper and cuts right to the point. You see him lean closer to the mic at times to make his point known. He takes big breaths to calm is nerves or release some of the anger.

Listen, I can go on and on, but I won't. Just know i love his acting, planned or not. Even if the anger he usually feels when dealing with loved ones is NOT USUALLY ACTING AT ALL!

THE DARK METAL STRUCTURE!!!

I wanna talk about the little things Phil has done to show love for his little ones. Later we can talk about his love language, but today? It's the small things that make my heart sing.

When the eggs were missing he encased a WHOLE Federation building in cobblestone and left a message with Tallulah's pink sign.

When everyone got together near Fit's gym and started going crazy with bombs it was hilarious. They became more and more destructive because NO EGGS? WHOOPS THERE GOES THE ANY RESTRAIN! and yeah, Phil laughed and enjoyed the chaos, but each time a flower got moved or destroyed? He immediately put them back. He made sure not a single flower patch was left damaged.

When the festivals were in full motion he took time to snap every picture he could. He yoinked every food item he could get his hands on. He didn't want the kids feeling left out when they got back.

He carried Lullah's flute around.

He sighed every time he walked along the potato farm.

Even now, Phil whispers a thank you to Rose when he loses sight of Tallulah.

It's just the little things and more that makes him such a great Father. I love it.

I think I know how this all slots together now with an overall timeline of events. If I'm on the right track this is such a smart way to weave the two worlds together that he came up with....

I just got to finish watching the vod and it all makes sense now to me. I think what's happened is that the Hardcore world is the past, but Philza can't remember it all right now. And as he plays HC and dreams on the QSMP he's remembering it.

(Hello End Poem references Phil has been drowning in since this all started with the birdhouse.)

He found / is finding the deities home's as an archeologist / explorer in the HC world right? He's the one who remembers them and is giving them life again by telling their story. He's literally bringing them to life both in game as someone feeding their power by acknowledging them and spreading knowledge of them and OOCly as the person creating them and their lore.

Rose's book at the end of stream makes it for me:

Your trust will not be misused. Thank you, child of the sky, for finding me. My name is Rose, I am glad to be by your side.

Thank you for finding me. Either back then or present day now, as a thank you for the trust he has in his fragile state of being scared and doubting reality and what he sees.

And it makes the Enderking's fit as well. The king and his treasures are what Phil found. Phil got greedy and had to know more and he ended up reviving the king.

The question becomes the level of sincerity of the Enderking's words. Specifically because of the combination of that second half of the Enderking's book and the first book from rose.

The Enderking's Book:

Something happened after the HC world that caused his memories to be lost and now he has to rediscover them (by playing hardcore and experiencing it as a dream in QSMP lore context) and I will bet my bottom dollar that what happened was Philza's inevitable death and the end of S4 HC whenever that may be. The End Poem ends with the lines:

And the game was over and the player woke up from the dream. And the player began a new dream. And the player dreamed again, dreamed better. And the player was the universe. And the player was love. You are the player. Wake up.

HC S4 was a new dream, he fell into it just like his trident. In Season 3 he got "glitched out of the fuckin' world mate" as he says in his ending stream outro clip. He was going through an end portal and glitched him off the edge to fall into the void. He said for his trident it fell through the void and got warped and became giant and fell into the Endlantis Island. It's still moving and slowly cracking the Island too. Philza's still falling.

Phil got greedy trying to go deeper in the End, deeper in the Enderking's domain for more prizes. He fell through the void and got thrown into a new world. A new dream. He came from the sky just like the trident and so they call him a "Child of the Sky".

QSMP is a new dream. QSMP is full of love and the relationships and bonds between people and bridging differences to become better friends and comrades. It's about love and unity. He woke up with no memory of the past really of how they got there when he was on that train. His wings already clipped...

Rose's First Book:

Child of the sky, don't stray into that cruel monarch's hands. Your legacy is strong, a history of adventure and bravery. But the conviction you once held is gone. Child, you have experienced unspeakable cruelties at the hands of a fiend. But you can heal, you can regain your strength and your fractured mind. Remember your convictions, your love for adventure. Through your fledglings and with my aid, you will find yourself restored. But your patience is needed. Trust, that you will heal. Spend the day with the nestlings, and when the day has passed, find your way to: X: -1395 Y: 12037 Z: 108

And from the wiki (here) we know there's actually going to be at least FIVE deities in the HC world. We don't know anything about the fifth. And that's where the second half of the Enderking's letter comes into play and how its sincerity gets called into question.

Mentioned by Philza on stream 01/02/2021, The Five Godlike Entities are supernatural entities who inhabit the S4 Hardcore World. The group presumably consists of: The Blaze Empress The Ender King The Ocean Overlord Rose, The Nature Guardian ??? [Unknown]

We don't know anything about the fifth deity so they may be the "fiend" that Rose talks about. They may be in part responsible for the lore end to the HC S4. They may be responsible for why Philza's mind is fraying and the Enderking actually would guide them even if he's not the best moral compass and is willing to call him a dumb-ass along the way as he does it because Phil just HAD to keep going and find the FIFTH one of them and cause problems didn't he?

Or the fifth one is kind. They are gentle. They are forgiving. Hell it's a chance he's putting Goddess of Death Kristin as the fifth one.

Maybe the Fifth one is the one responsible for the Birdhouse situation entirely. Responsible for the book that lead him to it. Responsible for the birdhouse being gone when he woke. Working with the Federation even?

We don't know.

And perhaps the "Fiend" in question is none of the HC S4 Deities. Maybe it's not a Mob in the HC S4 World that helps kill him (Or the baby zombie from his 5 year world).

Maybe the "Fiend" is someone related to QSMP Island lore. Maybe it's our Purgatory Observer. Maybe it's the person behind the code attacks. Maybe it's someone tied to the federation. Maybe we don't know them yet.

And that's the issue. We still don't know, but it's fascinating to think about and update our timeline. We don't know enough to say for certain but we know in short:

The Hardcore Worlds are interconnected dimensions/realities

Greed Option 1: HC S3 ends with Philza falling into the void in the end from a Gitch when he wanted to go explore it and find more things.

Philza started the HC S4 world.

The Deities are (at minimum) Dormant or potentially Dead in the HC S4 currently

Philza is rediscovering the ruins and old stories and learning about them as he goes.

This is potentially bringing them to life once more. How far this goes is yet to be seen in HC S4 since he's not played that out yet.

Greed Option 2: Philza gets "Greedy" according to the Enderking and strays onto the wrong Path.

Either Before the end of the HC S4 World / At the moment he loses the HC S4 / or After on QSMP - Philza suffers "unspeakable cruelties at the hands of a fiend"

At this point, no matter which moment the Fiend is involved, anything after this point is after Philza has lost HC S4 and is now on QSMP.

Philza's mind is frayed and his memories are a jumble in his head.

Philza is now at QSMP and his wings are clipped. If this was part of the suffering or something that happened coming over to QSMP is still unknown as we don't know who or precisely when his wings got damaged.

The Birdhouse Happens. A Cage for a Cage. Potentially the first deity contact on QSMP and the source unconfirmed (or it is just federation, but I don't think they got in his chest like that, especially not with the wording matching the theme of the other 2 deity books we've seen). The birds were trapped in there with him. The birds are (now known to be) connected to HC S4 Rose. Something trapped her power in there with him or first before he got there. It's possible she helped him get out and home and then kept an eye on him with the birds afterwards, but this is unconfirmed.

Philza's memories are coming back to him. They seem like dream's though. (Meta Level: he can't remember what hasn't happened yet, so him playing HC S4 is him getting that memory of the event for himself in QSMP. That or he's able to at least pick and chose what parts of the HC S4 Streams his QSMP self gets to know.)

Philza goes to Purgatory

Philza gets to enter the End Realm and get an Elytra to fly with briefly while in Purgatory. His wings start to recover.

(In Philza's lore, the End links between dimensions/realities. It's possible this was a link to the HC worlds at this time and something slipped through with him during this. Unconfirmed and Philza specific lore though.)

Philza comes back from Purgatory and his wings, while still damaged badly, are better than they used to be.

Philza now has the Enderking reaching out to him. (Possibly the black concrete is connected to the Enderking, but I personally don't think it is. It's too server wide to be reliant on his HC S4 lore. It gets honorable mention here though.)

Philza now has Rose more directly reaching out to him (not just with birds) and also has a physical place on the map. Whether or not that place remains there is yet to be seen as of writing this.

Philza found a really cool ocean monument and trident that is unlike anything else either he or Fitmc have seen so far. (Hi Ocean Overlord is that you we're seeing on the horizon?)

That's how I think it shakes out plot wise right now with what we known and what I think makes sense.
