Do you have any cybertronian Sam fics or ones you recommend?

Mini bot Sam is one I’m excited to explore and create Sams dynamic with other bots! And what other Cybertrionians would think or react like to not only a mini bot /minicon but a human turned minibot, the mini bot lore has as many options and origins as big bots but even with whatever notion I go with it would rely a lot on The bigger bots knowledge and emotions around the ideas of mini bots and their “role” . I feel like Sam from human to mini bot so badly wants his role in everything and being a mini bot makes it easier for some bots to bridge that gap for him

Recommendations

Conceptions of self , my most recent reread and hands down one of the best at giving you more time with Sam and other bots!! Made me enjoy the idea of Sam and Prowl and where I could explore more

Newspark has some easy short one shots for a fun happy time, I found the second one in the series my favourite

Crossroads Converging in a paradox , Pax Cybertronia , and Antebellum are juggernaut of Sam and cybertron world building and pack a lot into their narratives that should take awhile with

And Tilt is one of the two I consider the most drastic with the concept of Sam transforming? Definitely read tags and warnings for all recommendations but Tilt specifically pushes Sam and Bumblebee especially. Really fascinating read and it’s like on the harsher edger reality and difficulty that would come with something like changing into a completely different life form and life expectancy. be warned it’s one of the heavier stories

here's my 2 cents on the matter

Given that the canon designs were designed by SOUNDWAVE in-verse, it makes sense that they don't reflect the team very well.

In-verse.

The designers in the real world, however, could have done the team a bit more justice.

the canon "human" designs in the show are so boring and don't really suit them at all- ESPECIALLY Prowl's and Bumblebee's- it's just literally just his holoform - why is he a child but Bulkhead an adult they are the SAME FUCKING AGE

Seriously though...

Like- you can SEE potential in the direction of they were trying to go in their outfits but their just so BLAND in execution.

Cybertronian food dump! Designing this stuff is addictive.

1) a typical cafeteria meal at the JAAT. Maccadam ensures the students get only the best, even occasionally arranging for “culture fuel” days, serving dishes from different city-states or colonies.

2) if you let steel woolies sit long enough, you get rust bunnies, delicious lil bunches of spice. It’s pretty easy to make them (Whirl keeps a bunch of steel woolies under his berth and just lets them rust until they’re ready), but commercial grade rust bunnies have grease and seasoning that adds to the flavor.

3) cyberflora aren’t really alive like organic plants are, but they do contribute heavily to the energon cycle, metal distribution, and energy generation of Cybertron. This one is called a brollypalm, a solar collector that gathers energon and charges it to a sweet buzz with the energy. Brollypods can be cracked open and drank, or they can be chilled to a gelatinous solid and eaten.

4) I have nothing to say about RAM-En except for the fact you’d better appreciate the pun.

You know, that Mythbusters post legitimately changed my life. Before seeing it, I had exponentially more guilt and stress about not being able to sleep, which of course, further exacerbated my inability to sleep.

Now, every time I wake up about three am, knowing I have to get up at 6.45, instead of stressing and panicking about how my day is going to be sleep deprived and miserable, I just tell myself 'Time to activate Mythbusters Protocol' and lie there with my eyes closed safe in the knowledge that I am measurably reducing later feelings of exhaustion.

And when this happens, about 70% of the time the reduction of guilt and stress means I actually do fall back asleep, so all in all instead of getting only three or four hours sleep, I get five to six and a half.

Which y'know, major improvement in health and energy.

Happy 40 years to the best franchise this millennium.

From the comedy highs and the war crime lows, transformers has stayed my main hyperfixation for years, as it will continue to be for the next years to come.

Hey Obi! I love how sharp and expressive your Transformers art style looks, especially when you depict the characters as these absolutely willfully immature mischief makers! I saw that you drew some art of this pairing a couple months back, so if it sounds fun to you, would you draw TFA Blitzwing and Bumblebee as that "And so... they were both bottoms" meme? I know that meme is pretty old by now and I get if you don't want to draw it because of the implied sexual themes, but that particular meme visual with those characters has basically haunted my mind for two weeks now and I don't actually have the artistic skill to make it myself! If you do want to draw it, I also ask that Blitzwing be in Hothead mode and both Blitz's and Bee's canon size difference be obvious (both for comedic affect, of course)!
