My Ma sewed me a new duvet for my comforter:
She had the patch work already made & it was a perfect match. But, wait... there’s a bonus:
It’s denim. That’s right - I’m insane. Not only do I still sleep in a twin sized bed (anything bigger seems excessive for just me and don’t forget - my partner & I sleep in separate bedrooms which is our preference) I actually sleep with a denim duvet. Like a dang maniac!
Anyways, my Ma is an exemplar sew-master & I’m just hoping to learn some of her magical ways.

The Yoda, BB-8 & ET we’re all to scale & I think the Peter Griffin was a Seth McFarlane original. The Black Panther helmet was signed by Stan Lee & there was another one signed by Michael B. Jordan (next to the ET). The Shepard Fairey prints were signed. All told: if you have a spare 30 grand or so - you can own all these treasures...
Wish I could wink but, I just look like I’m having faces spasms. An ex of mine is soo freaking good at it. Like, it’s so subtle that it takes a second to register that it was intentional. I wish I could do that because it’s the least aggressive flirtation with a stranger. Like, if you saw someone you are attracted to & just gave them a super quick, ultra subtle wink. Nothing aggressive or creepy. No catcalling. No “can I holler” bullshit. Like, a quick *hey - I like your vibe* type of wink & then move on with your day. Dang, I wish I could do that without looking like I’m having a seizure or whatnot.

I really don’t understand why anyone would buy mansions & super expensive cars if they won the lottery. Like, if I had poweball money... I’d wanna suprise people with like, free housing or secretly paying off their student/medical debt etc... I see so many of my tumblr peoples going thru some tough times & I wish I had “you’re problems are over” money but, all I got is “emergency room/surprise car problems” savings (& I feel super super lucky just to have that).
Hang in there. I see y’all. Your feelings are valid. If y’all ever find yourselves out this way... we’ll take you out for some of the best pizza in the world & idk maybe go raspberry picking (depending on the season but, it’s one of our favorite pastimes). You can find refuge in the strange/fun world my partner & I create (even if it’s just for a brief moment)

In elementary school it was a trend to bring in unfrosted cupcakes & everyone would create their own. I remembered this & decided that when it’s my birthday (actual date unknown - re: adopted) all my coworkers would be able to customize their very own donut. Like, I’ll eat pretty much any cake but, I could tell everyone was excited to create their own treat & it was like a cool gift to myself.
