i worked on this for way too long (5 hours 💀) I really wanted to do some nice rendering idk why it's just satisfying

couldnt make out some things like the colours and small details cuz your image was a bit messy/dimly lit but I hope that's ok

i def made the colours more saturated than they really are but that's mostly a conscious choice because I love bright colours

sooo glad i've been focusing on posing and anatomy for the past half a year I'm no longer intimidated by anything more than a bust and in fact I often try to include more of the body

i'm gonna be so prepped for artfight i'm ready to get at least a thousand points

no background because... uh i hate backgrounds so much I only have animals and backgrounds left to sorta master I hate that at least in the past I could practice drawing faces or hands or something but I've basically gotten that all down

crazy that just a couple months ago I couldn't render hair at all

pattern was a pain but thats my fault because I REFUSE to just copy and paste cuz then it looks weird and doesn't really cling to the fabric

i was trying to do a shading demonstration for my friend but I ended up drawing a really scrumptious looking sphere

idk what its made of but man it looks good

LAST ART TRADE DONE LETS GOOOOOO 8 drawings in 4 days, im SO glad, im up to my artfight numbers (attack me in july btw i BEG i always revenge and and my username is LionRevolutionary)

ngl idk how im able to pump out good pieces consistently (although i did procrastinate on this one a bit but it wasnt completely my fault)

like my art is BETTER and more detailed than before yet it takes me quicker to do? blend brush feels like cheating tbh i render SO FAST with it

this type of contrast is smth i dont usually do, but i was kinda forced to since the character is literally completely dark

im getting back into my habit of adding rimlight to every drawing someone stop me omg

lowkey coming back to my old rendering style with sketchy lines and rough shading i shouldnt have abandoned it

found a bunch more OCs i made when I was 9 these are obv more fleshed out more detailed but still you can see the colours and patterns go crazy

slightly learned to blend markers so thats why there's so many gradients/stripes, finally at this point realised I can have an area that isn't one colour or just a pattern

some of these have... interesting fashion

i have ZERO clue whats going on with 4 arms lady actually crazy design I was just slapping all my gel pen colours on there

omg... new blend brush in magma is INCREDIBLE

it saves so much time omg this took 2 HOURS this looks like it took more than my usual 4 hours, im shocked rendering hair and doing lineless art is actually easy now??

also i ate with my colours look at that classic warm highlights cool shadows style

i use so much less layers too... i cant understand how i did digital art for so long without a blend brush
