Reasons for disliking neurodivergent masking:

- Masking requires a lot of cognitive effort, which is draining and can lead to Autistic burnout and exhaustion and burnout symptoms for ADHD people

- Autistic and ADHD people who mask more show more signs of anxiety and depression, and the strategy may even been linked to an increase in suicidal behaviours in autism

- Masking doesn't masking change the judgements that non-autistic peers made towards autistic people’s social behaviours

- Masking makes you feel disconnected from your true sense of identity

- Masking may delay the identification of one's autism and ADHD and delayed ADHD diagnosis has been linked to, among others, substance abuse

- Masking ADHD can lead to perfectionism and lowered self-esteem and isolation and feelings of loneliness

So sorry for being late but I REALLY wanted to draw both in-game & pre-game for this year but it took longer than expected!!

I had a different idea for this drawing but it wasn't working out too well so I settled for this and honestly it turned out so much better than I expected.

Introducing another interest of mine: CUPHEAD. I feel hard and fast for it in 2023. Both the show and the game, though I was better at the shows style. It got me into style imitation, actually. I wanted to be like the artists that worked on it so bad.
