Hussam distributed the toys to the kids! He said everyone was so excited for them, that even the older kids got jealous and he bought another hundred toys and extended the ages to receive toys to 3-13.

For those of you who have been following this, my tumblr 'helpgazachildren' was deleted for unknown reasons. In the meantime, I put together this notion site to help document all the receipts and videos of updates for people who want a backlog of information. I will be continuously updating this site.

Here's a sad headcanon!! After Dream loses Nightmare and gets thrusted into this world and is busy doing everything for centuries yk. When he finally has a break, he tries to remember what Nightmare used to look like and to his own muted horror, he can't full remember. It's a blur.

Dream's so scared of forgetting, he doesn't want to forget. He can't do that. The only trace of what his brother once was would be gone. Now considering the era they were born into? They don't have camera to take pictures (even so it likely would have been destroyed anyhow)

So Dream instead tries to draw Nightmare with what little information he has, he looked like him didn't he? It shouldn't be hard. He stresses over details he can't remember. The drawing is terrible, childlike in every way, and likely every colour besides his eyelights was wrong, but it was him. It was a trace of him. He had something to not forget.

I can imagine he starts to spend time doodling all the things he can remember doing with Nightmare before, as a way to document them down and have something to look at for a refresher.

It’s still happening. The genocide is still happening and we as humans can’t continue to let this slide by, while everyday lives are taken. Something must give.

Humans Are Weird

So there has been a bit of “what if humans were the weird ones?” going around tumblr at the moment and Earth Day got me thinking. Earth is a wonky place, the axis tilts, the orbit wobbles, and the ground spews molten rock for goodness sakes. What if what makes humans weird is just our capacity to survive? What if all the other life bearing planets are these mild, Mediterranean climates with no seasons, no tectonic plates, and no intense weather? 

What if several species (including humans) land on a world and the humans are all “SCORE! Earth like world! Let’s get exploring before we get out competed!” And the planet starts offing the other aliens right and left, electric storms, hypothermia, tornadoes and the humans are just … there… counting seconds between flashes, having snowball fights, and just surviving. 

People said that Tumblr isn't a great place to post original art that isn't fanart, but I'm doing it anyway because I haven't got the motivation to draw anything else
