au idea where Zuko comes across Lieutenant Jee at Boiling Rock because once Jee found out about Zhao blowing up Zuko’s ship he actually either abandoned Zhao or straight up turned on him, causing him to be eventually apprehended. He’s happy to see Zuko alive, and actively helps the team escape. He urges Zuko to flee while he stays behind to help Mai.

He’s in the crowd during the coronation and is so proud of Zuko and continues to serve him until he retires and Zuko makes sure he keeps in touch and visits him on Ember Island with Iroh.

Ty Lee keeps a drawing that Zuko made of them playing with turtleducks together. Zuko keeps a sparkly bead bracelet with a little golden flower charm Ty Lee made for him when he mentioned it was his favorite color. They gave these things to each other when they were little, and they mean the world to them - even acting as comfort items despite their initial friendship having faded away and not having seen each other in years.

ZUKO LOOKS MORE LIKE URSA, NOT LIKE OZAI

I mean look at him. This is from fever dream (where he dreams he is the fire lord and doesn't have the scar). He is clearly older in this dream. He looks like the male version of Ursa.

Of course there are a few differences. But they're mostly due to the gender difference. Ursa has kinda softer features.

And apart from this, when he grew old, Zuko looked very much like Avatar Roku whom happens to be his mother's grandfather.

Fandom likes to act like Zuko has Ozai's looks since they like to think there are symbolisms of it. But let's be honest, does this sweet child look anything like Ozai at all?

Haven’t been posting for 3 weeks I’m really sorry, school’s been really busy and finals are coming up :,)

There’s still some prompts from @zutaramonth I haven’t finished so keep working on them in the future, but for now i’ll be doing smaller posts like this

I did mention a while ago that I may start a short series , this is one of the scenes that spawned in my Bren.

Smol description of the scene: (Set in post 100 year war, Azula redemption and Ursa reunion) Handling multiple  assassination attempts and stress of being a Firelord, Zuko gets hardened and slightly unhinged. One time during a peace meeting with the gaang, Iroh, Kuei, Hakoda etc. New Ozai society+ Ozai launched a coup, Zuko got hit once, proceeds to go berserk, and turns out to be really good at lightning bending.

i had the most MESSED UP idea last night where joel gets bit, but instead of attacking ellie he just gets like, ferally protective of her. (More than usual, i mean)

(Maybe this is because of her weird fungal variant, maybe because their love is ONE IN A MILLION or maybe some combination of the two idk)

Like ellie SOMEHOW got all his weapons from him before he could off himself, because she just couldnt watch him do that. Cordyceps!joel coming towards her, and she’s holding her knife up between them, sobbing because SHE CANT DO IT she cant hurt him, but he just pushes the knife aside and grabs her arm, inspecting her bite marks, sniffing her all the way up her arm to her neck to her head, then gathers her up in his arms under his chin. She can feel his lips on her hair, can hear him grunting in a strange rhythmic way, almost like he’s trying to hum. Eventually she feels something other than his lips on her head, realizes it’s the fungal tendrils coming from his mouth.

cordyceps!joel brings her dead deer and rabbits, destroys any infected who threaten her, cradles her like a baby when he can tell that she’s upset. When they come near humans, he heeds her when she makes him hide and not attack. (Except when the humans are raiders, she lets joel eat those.)

on the nights it’s so cold she needs a fire, cordyceps!joel sits 20 feet behind her, grumbling, until ellie yells at him to be quiet. (he is NOT a fan of the fire)

Joel eventually becoming a clicker. She leads him by the hand through the wilderness, learns to communicate with him by clicking just as much as talking. She finds herself in front of a mirror one day in an old cabin looking for supplies, and doesnt recognize herself. If anyone saw her they’d assume she was infected without a second thought.

Oh god HOW DOES IT END does he finally get taken down by a bullet, ellie holding him as he chokes on his own blood, soothing him with her voice because he doesnt even understand what’s happening??? Does she finally put him down, knowing joel is long gone and he wouldnt want to live like this?? do they continue on like that forever, until ellie’s forgotten how to speak? OH ITS TERRIBLE someone take it away from me

okay but for a split second can we all imagine short zuko? just imagine. 

zuko getting upset because the gaang doesn’t find him threatening enough due to his height.

sokka making so many short jokes on him that it’s unbelievable. 

azula being taller than her big brother.

iroh being about the same height as zuko and trying to let his nephew know that height is not something to be worried about.

zuko constantly getting mistaken for being younger than he is because he’s the same height that he was when he got his scar.

sokka just picking zuko up and throwing him over his shoulder and zuko being able to do nothing about it because he doesn’t want to hurt sokka with his firebending.

imagine the possibilities of short zuko. please.

Iroh's wife died while giving birth to Lu Ten

Ozai punished Zuko after he failed at firebending practice by burning his hands and forbidding him to tell anyone including Ursa and forcing him to say ut was his own fault

Ty Lee has synesthesia, hence why she sees auras (people's feelings)

Sokka despised the months of not being able to walk with a broken leg so after Katara deemed him okay, he sprinted through the palace and overwhelmed his leg which put him back in the cast

Zuko secretly loves tea but refuses to give uncle the satisfaction

After Zuko's ship blew up, his crew aboard Zhao's ship heard about it, thought Zuko died (since Iroh joined Zhao) and dealt with it surprisingly badly (he might have been a brat, but he was their brat)

Pakku and Iroh don't like each other very much and tend to fight in this very peaceful manner of offhandedly thrown comments, said with sickeningly fake smiles

Zuko calls Iroh dad once, without even noticing it and Iroh's too stunned to speak for a moment, but he doesn't want his nephew to feel awkward for pointing that out so he just carries on the conversation

The whole Gaangs sleeps in a big cuddle pile even after the war

Sometimes Toph wakes up from the nightmare of Sokka letting go of her hand and when she does, she reaches for his hand and he subconsciously squeezes it

when your day is through and so is your temper you know what to do im gonna always be there
