I have this headcannon where Annabeth and Percy only message and send notes in ✨Shakespearean English✨

 After a late-night cramming session for an English exam where they only spoke Shakespeare in English to keep themselves up, it became a thing, and now that's how they just write to each other. Percy is getting shockingly good at it, and it's starting to be bad because Annabeth is getting these types of notes during class.

So, basically me and a group of friends were planning to go trick or treating tonight and it was a group of 10. But last minute, and I mean ten minutes before I had to go over they canceled on me and one other closer friend of mine.

I was disappointed, of course, but not mad about it. I know I should be more upset about this and it’s probably going to bite me in the ass later, but I’m just numb to this honestly.

I ended up just trick-or-treating with the kids I sometimes babysit, and had a great time with them. But I was still looking forward to hanging around teens my age at the very least.

Thank you for reading my little rant, I just needed to get this off my chest or else it would’ve bothered me for the rest of the week-

wait do people read first person stories and think they're the ones in the story???

Saw people talking about not liking first person, which is fair, but their reasoning was like "I would not do that" and I don't understand that mindset.

First person stories are still about a character. A character making their own decisions. First person isn't about you???? At least I thought it wasn't. What am I missing? I've always seen first person as just a more in-depth look into a character's mind and stricter POV. Not as a reader stand-in.

The middle of HoO is the start of where most of my head cannons that change the main plot at least a bit start to kick in.

Plus, I always hc calypso as ace once free from her curse, so her and Leo are just friends and Valgrace (Or Valangelo and Jercy; depends on my mood) is a bit more present :)
