Most people go to Tumblr to have fun and pass the time, but every time I go to Tumblr I get fucking mad I don't think I deserve all this. You forget that I'm younger than most of you and you send me threats , messages and inboxes that abt I should kill myself How many times do I have to apologize? I apologize and then another message: 'The world won't get any better until people like you end.' I'm not a fucking racist and I never have been. Not liking a person doesn't mean I don't like their entire race. If I were to commit suicide one day, do you think you would go to bed with a peaceful conscience? I'm sick of people sending me disgusting messages from this fucking app that I've never heard or told anyone about in my life, while I'm going through the worst times of my life. My opinions change every day, every hour. One day I hate someone and the next day they are my best friend. I'm sorry if I offended you Yes I'ma disgusting person, I know that, but I didn't deserve this. Even if I deserve it, I know that a person has a will and normally even the biggest fascist's ideology can change.I will give an example of how my ideas change quickly. When I was a kid, I didn't like trans people, but now I don't even know if I'm even cisgender. I'm not saying you're wrong either, everyone has their own freedom of thought, you can say whatever you want, but freedom ends when you restrict others. Actually, I don't care much about such things, in fact, I have a lot of satirical accounts on TikTok and Instagram, but this seems too much. There is sarcasm in everything I say from the beginning. Maybe it's because of the cultural differences, because we don't mind saying such things, but you are so caught up in your freedom that you don't know if you're hurting other people.

Congratulations!!

Once in a while I think about how much more fun it would have been if Percy Jackson had been made into an animated series instead. Not only because things could be closer to how the fandom envisioned, but also because of the ability for cartoon silliness to more closely be able to capture the kind of humor the books so often had. Not to mention the fact that a lot of neurodivergent people, which the books are aimed at, can pay better attention to cartoons because expressions are easier to read and different characters are easier to keep track of.

But also a big reason I think an animated series would be way funnier is the fact that if it were me making PJO into an animated series, I would make Percy kind of self aware like he was in the books, talking to the reader and breaking the fourth wall like Pinkie Pie every once in a while. (He's the only one who can do this)

Idk I just love Percy breaking the fourth wall especially since I read the books when I was younger and made somewhat of an emotional connection to him so if he talked to me it would be like hey!! I know you!! We're friends going on this adventure together

I usually imagined it as pure ambrosia being like flour and ‘watered down’ by mortal ingredients when baked into cookies for the demigods. And nectar as something akin to water for the gods and have a similar texture and viscosity while being much more potent than ambrosia-made snacks. 

So we know ambrosia (and nectar) are highly taste subjective in pjo because they’re something that connects to your emotions and flavor preferences

But what about the texture?

Cause from what I remember of the descriptions of what ambrosia looked like in the books it would probably hit every wrong texture button in me

This is a camp FULL of neurodivergent kids there’s gotta be at least one who prefers nectar cause ambrosia has a bad mouth feel and vice versa

Erin Reed has presented a new version of her Anti-Trans Risk Assessment Map over at Erin in the Morning.

She writes:

The elections have tightened across the United States, and anti-trans ads have become a major part of the 2024 campaign cycle. As such, the risk has substantially raised for nationwide laws targeting transgender people in the coming years for both youth and adults. For states, the state of Texas has been upgraded to Do Not Travel, only the second state to receive such a recommendation. This comes as Odessa, Texas becomes the first city in the nation to pass a $10,000 bounty on transgender people inside of bathrooms.
