Actually let me try manifesting first.
(A dark shadow grows across the floor. It is a deep darkness an abyssal darkness. A clawed pair of hands reaches out and began pushing against the floor. The darkness takes a crooked shape long, thin, and dark. Two red glowing orbs compose it’s eyes as it emerges from the shadow. It’s mouth stretched in a wide grin leaking black ichor that evaporates before touching the floor. It long, thin, and spindly body reminiscent of a marionette.)
Ah so this is the form my soul shard takes in your world. Interesting to know.
Ok. This has gotten crazy! Do any of you mind me giving a hand? I can cut out another piece of my soul to help. I just need a vessel for it to inhabit, like someone’s corpse or a toy either work for me!
I usually make my own but I’m not sure if I can or what’ll get limited by your world’s LAWS.

(The body shifts as it changes form becoming more humanlike in design. It is still a dark shape lacking many features and it’s still glow red but it is no longer thin and spindly and becoming more average in appearance. It’s smile becomes more natural and less forced though still leaking black ichor that evaporates before touching the floor.)

I don’t have your social anxiety but socializing is difficult. I don’t understand or care about a lot of social cues. I can fake it in public but I do prefer acting behind a screen or pretending to someone I’m not.
It’s easier to hide and pretend than it is to be honest most of the time.
