i'm not good w/ words but you guys have to understand my vision here: connor, basically a dog to the police. wants to carry out his mission no matter what, but his own emotions poke holes into his will and he starts doubting what he was programmed to do. i feel like yoshida's starting on an arc like that. in part one he wasn't really told much and he wasn't curious enough to dig. no additional details, just paid to do his job. but in part 2 he's emotionally invested in a way. he's developed (or tried to develop) relationships with both the war fiend AND chainsaw man. so now guilt follows whenever he carries out his job's demands—an emotion he isn't used to feeling when doing his job.

Callout post for Niko, creator of Colorless
Before I say anything I know that there will be many of her fans that will be confused by this. “But I’ve talked to Niko and she seems like a nice sweet person!” That’s because Niko has enough sense not to act the way she really is to the people who admire her.
I was friends with her a few years before Colorless was a thing. My friend and I made a Ava’s Demon network back when Skype was still popular, some time around 2013/2014. Niko joined and became a close friend of mine for almost 3 years. A lot of things have happened during our friendship and now I will finally post about it. Here’s where I’m at with the IHNMAIMS animation project!! I expect to be finished late july/early august, so hopefully the fandom will still be alive by then :3

I’m still undecided on the colour correction/ filter. I want it to be dark but not so dark that all the effort I put into each frame can’t be seen. I’m on my IPhone at full brightness and it looks good to me, but if it’s too dark for you then please let me know.
Also, should I add in a more humanized version of AM? In my head, I think it would be neat, but I’m worried it would take away from the horror type of vibe I’m attempting to create.
Also also, I don’t know if I’ve said this before but the audio was inspired by one I heard on tiktok. The song is Red Sex (restrung) by Vessel and Rakhi Singh and is mixed with the game audio and radio play of IHNMAIMS. The most popular video I cant find with this audio is by @/handballslecture, who credits the original creator of it as @/cojone66. While I did remake the mashup from scratch using GarageBand, I dont want anyone to think that the sound is original to me when it’s not! :D
