This took me so long! Mostly because I was having trouble choosing which characters to draw on the first place and I'm not so content on how I drew Týr.... I'm still glad of how it turned out tho. Thankfully, with this finished I can finally start other projects and finish some WIPs!

Okay. Here me out. Bubble as a menu guide/ovreworld companion that follows you around similar to Paimon from Genshin Impact or that one fairy from Majora's Mask.

Like just imagine this duo. Harlequin!Ponmi and Bubble would be an unstoppable pair to deal with, their both such menaces!
I also think Caine could also sometimes speak through bubble whenever you spend a lot of time in a certain area without reaching your objective, offering to guide you!
You could also get a bubble POV in order to see some areas ahead. You could check on the enemies there and make a plan or guide it in order to solve puzzles...
Speaking of puzzles, there could be some mechanisms were you can leave Bubble inside in order to power terminals, activate things and stuff!
Excuse my shitty handwriting.
PRESSURE HUB: Command the Bubble Butler Blimp to stay put in the marked areas in order to activate certain mechanisms.
Ponmi: BUBBLE! STAY PUT!
B.B.B: You can leave me in Pressure Hubs to activate certain mechanisms and solve puzzles!
Ponmi: I. AM. TRYING!
Another thing could be that if you play on "Hard mode", apart from combat being more difficult, maybe Ponmi could be more reluctant to ask for help and Caine would just not offer his help cause he is too busy drinking working.
I've started to concept the idea for a The Amazing Digital Circus x Ride the Cyclone AU
Right now the name is
The Amazing Digital Cyclone
But it might change in the future, work in progress and everything.
Right now everything is in a concept stage and is subject to change in the future, expect the Masterpost and other official content at the end of November.
CONTEXT & INFO [WIP]
The AU will just mix the premise of TADC with the one of RTC instead of being a "Ride the Cyclone but what if TADC characters" type of story. Instead, the story will have the TADC human cast finding themselves, after brutally dying in a rollercoaster incident, in a circus-like-wonderland in-between life and death created by The Marvelous Caine. Here, the members of the Circus shall compete for a chance of being revived, but who's worth it the most?
None of the members remember their past lives, only the feeling they had during and about their death. They do not share the backstories with the original RTC cast, they will share some similarities with some of them at most.
All characters are adults around the same age they are in the original show. They all work/are connected to Uranium's local church and are part of the chuaior, most of the joining as it could have been their ticket out of that boring town.
DESIGNS [WIP]
All the designs shown here are, well, still being designed. Ponmi's specially is still in development, you can take the bottom right head shot as the direction I've decided to take. It's really hard designing a Ponmi, mad kudos to those who already did!
I don't plan on changing Caine's design outside from expanding it and adding more detail. He was very easy to design and all the elements floated into place as I drew, unlike Ponmi who has been hell on earth. I change his title from "The Amazing" to "The Marvelous" because, and bare with me, the world marvelous feels more purple to me and that is this version of Caine's main color. I don't know how I feel about taking away his characteristic red but I do like the diversity it brings to the "Caine roster".
Bubble takes after the rat that's nibbling Karnek wires (ultimately killing both of them in the end), I do not know if the same will happen in this universe though. I might make some slight tweets to his design cause I just can't seem to get the teeth right.
I haven't made any other concept art for the other members designs but I will get there eventually!
OTHER
I don't know what is the format this au is being taught in (comic, show, video game, visual novel and so on...) so any type of world building in that way is a bit iffy.
Consequently, I have no idea if any NPCs like GummyGoo or the Angle will appear but I do like the idea of having them in the au... so who knows?
I'd like to add Able in some way shape or form but try as I might I CAN'T SQUEEZE HIM IN! IT JUST LOOKS LIKE THAT ONE GUY WHO SELF-INSERTED HIMSELF INTO AMPHIBIA I SWEAR!
This is done by a TADC fan who enjoys the concept of Ride the Cyclone and its songs, my priority in what I stay truthfull to is TADC. I just took what I liked from RTC and now I'll create a story with it.

Description:
One of the Queen's entertainers, The Record spend most of his time in the Forest of Anmesia gathering the mist with the vacuum on top of his head. His machine like body can extract the lost memories of those who enter from the mist into movie reels that are played for the Nobe. lAny memory ever lost belongs to him now as a part of his collection. If the Queen liked the movie, then he'll like the source material. He harbors a great distaste for any other form of art.
Despite porfiting from their lost identity, The Record never initiates any interaction with anyone. His days are mostly spent slowly walking through the Forest, collecting as much memories as possible, those who crossed him and asked for directions got even more lost... the longer you spend in the Forest, the better for him. The only people who encountered him without consequence are the the Mad Chatter's companions who've tried to open him up and a bunny? Cat? Who keeps leading people out the Forest. He does not like them that much.

I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEARS OF GAME THEORY HAVE PREPEARED ME FOR THIS! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW THE STORY DEVELOPS!!!!!
Also don't let any unfunny Sirenhead jokes make you think the design needs to be changed because A) it fits the desing and B) That’s not how Siren Head's siren heads actually look like so the comparison is not 100% HA JOKES ON THEM!
I honestly think the design is great since it hides Able but still feel like Able! He still has the human body with something wacky as a head idea but it replaces the cards for something that I bet shows a lot of his personality in this universe.
What helped me make the connection, and what I must applaud you for, is the teeth. Some I really like about TADC character design is how the rest of the cast (and side character) lacks realistic teeth which makes Caine stand out more, so the siren in his head having them was the first thing that makes you draw that connection.
(Also the use of the word "biological" brother is rising some major questions cause what do you mean that in a world full of soul powered robots something can be biologically related....?)

Firstly I just wanted to tell you that I love your AU! Your Harlequin au was what intorduced me to lovely TADC au Tumblr community and I absolutley love it! I haven't seen alternate universes as creative as these since the Sansverse era!
Secondly, I hace a question about the Patriarch: He seems to have a very good idea of who Caine is, wouldn't he be this world's equivalent to Able? I ask because althugh his design is WAY different from most fan Able depictions, he still has that "The Puppetmaster's brother" vibe that all Ables tend to have, a peace of Caine's past that he can never get rid of!
If he is not Able then I am curious of who he is, if he is then the lore just got spicier and if you don't want to spoil anything I'll understand.
But honestly: Keep it up! Your au has filled 70% of all my daydreams, the only thing I have been able to think about for a while has only been game mechanics, combat and chase sequences!

Though I am very proud of that because that means my design philosophy worked somehow, and for that, I'll throw you guys a bone. And also because I can't keep it a secret any longer I've been holding it in since the very beginning of this au
YES.
The Patriarch of Puppets is none other than Abel, Caine's biological brother.
When I was first designing him, I wanted every aspect of Abel's design to scream "opposite of Caine", and to hold some form of symbolism. From his megaphone head, down to the color palettes, there is meaning. Don't get me wrong, Mushy's Able is a very memorable and awesome design and I could've incorporated him the same way I did Souls-like, but I wanted something deeper for Harlequin.
While Caine is adorned in golds and maroons to symbolize his warmer nature, Abel has teals and silver, a very cold and intimidating stature. Their outfits and the colors are an opposition towards each other yet reflect one another somehow, the way Abel dresses tightly and formal when Caine is loose and open, his intense red pupil conveys his hostility, whilst Caine's eyes are softer blues and greens.
His king-size height dwarfing Caine tells just how much the Puppetmaster felt living on his shadow, HELL, someone noticed the weird "A" on the sides of his head and I had to shrug it off because I didn't want to reveal it as early as that time.
Even the megaphone head design holds SO MUCH UNTOLD STORY BETWEEN THE BROTHERS THAT I WILL CHOOSE TO KEEP A SECRET FOR NOW. I've put SO MUCH THOUGHT behind his design.
*sigh*... Which is also why I very much dislike the "siren head" jokes, because it's the one thing I didn't really foresaw when I was developing his design until I finished, and someone pointed out it might cause jokes like that to prop up. Something I thought I wouldn't mind initially, until everyone made the same joke over and over again and I just audibly groan irl.
But you know. internet's gonna internet, they see one thing that resembles a popular media, it's an immediate connection. I didn't even give a shit enough about Siren head to know how the design actually looked like, just a silhouette of the guy.
Therefore, I would really appreciate it if saying this out loud would help lessen the jokes, but ik not everyone is going to see this post so.
I do still wanna thank you for your kind words, because these kinds of asks are the fuel to my fire of inspiration and motivation for this AU, and I wish that I can keep this fire going till the very end of this AU's story :')

I’m slowly but surely getting better at drawing Caine
OOOOOH BOY this took me a DAMN LONG TIME
For reference, this is more of a concept for an actual episode rather than an entire AU. That’s also why I didn’t draw Caine and Bubble because their designs would be relatively unchanged (Bubble gets fairy wings and Caine gets a cloak) and they wouldn’t have stats. It’s definitely not because I just finished Zooble’s drawing and would probably keel over dead if I had to draw them.
Above is a bunch of the art I drew before making their refs. Gangle gets her own drawing because I drew her first when I was trying to decide how far from the source material I wanted to go. Ended up not going with the realistic style I started out with and far closer to the show’s official style.

Anyway! I saw @burrotello’s fight club AU and wanted to throw Minnie into the ring! I couldn’t imagine her as an actual fighter, and I realized that we don’t have a referee. I thought it’d be fucking hilarious if a mute character refed, so that’s what I went for :)
Shes far more greedy in this AU, letting Jax and Able get away with a lot more because of the pretty pennies they put in her pocket, despite hating cheaters. When the fighters don’t stop fighting, she gets in the middle of them to break it up. She’s a lousy (and very weak) fighter, so it doesn’t usually go well.

So, about The Mime... I have a headcanon about her.
While unable to speak herself, she would probably have the ability to play back messages of all the people who enter her maze by "recording them" with her mirrors and can even create new sentences by quote-mining them.
It's pretty creepy if you ask me.

Hello everyone! Today I bring you some Penny and Agatha stuff, originally created by the lovely @raggedytiger and their ask blog penny-and-agatha. I honestly can’t stop thinking about what would happen when Pomni and Ragatha get out of the circus. What would they do? I thought about it so much, in fact, that I drew it. The one above is inspired by this post where I imagined they tried to do everything in one day. The second is below, as I thought about them having a target date :)
Also I couldn’t help but think about the others and I drew them as well (try and guess who’s my favorite)
For clarification: these are MY takes on the freed characters, not Raggedytiger’s. If you want their designs, wait till they post them :)
Also, my headcanon for if they ever get freed is that the circus was trying to help them. It’s like an even more fucked up infinity train. Everyone (except for Kinger, he’s long gone) comes out a better/happier person.

This is a little something something I’ve been working on behind the scenes because I have brain rot. I love working on big things, even if I never finish them. This will hopefully be different and I’ll get it done. :)
For those who don’t know, this comic is a fan comic of an au of The Amazing Digital Circus, called The Amazing Digital Carnival. This AU was created by @sm-baby and I just want to say that this comic is very much NOT CANON. I am not affiliated with Mei in any way and please don’t think that the shitty writing in this comic reflects on the actual comic they are writing. Also I’m writing this before we get a bunch of info from Mei’s comic so forgive me if things are inaccurate.
Minnie is not a real character in both source materials, she is my personal oc that I made on a whim a bit ago. I wasn’t able to get this comic out of my head, so here we are.

Ok this year I’m going to live by the mantra of “I am cringe and I am free” and that includes redesigning Minnie’s Carnival! design because I hate it now :,)

I imagine her room being like a mix of a house of mirrors and a mirror maze. Some mirrors just warp how you look, others show your deepest darkest fears. Wouldn’t that be fun? :D
