You could feel the warm wind pressing onto your face, as the sun was slowly setting down. Cars were running on the road near you. Kids laughing, the sounds of bicycles and inaudible mutters of people echoed down the street.

But none of these things mattered. You blocked out everything, you only saw the amazing picture your eyes could present to you.

Your eyes were locked on your best friend Reki, doing an ollie on his skateboard. Yes, this was quite normal thing, and you have seen him do it million times, but every time he jumps you can't help it but stare at him. He looks so peaceful and relaxed, like this is the only thing he lives for, that skateboarding is his life.

You never understood what was so charming about Reki's skating, it's not like he is some unseen talent. Not trying to be rude, but there are lot of people better then him. But even so, his skating was more interesting to you then skating done by a professional, even ADAM's skating bored you to death . All though, you didn't understand it, you never complained about it. You loved watching him skate so much. He was the one who got you into skateboarding, and now you are just good as him, maybe even better then him. You didn't care who was better, you just wanted to have fun with your friend. That's that mattered to you. You didn't want validation of some random people saying, “wow they are so cool!”. Yes, of course it's nice to feel like you have made an impact. But you didn't want to turn skateboarding into something you have constantly on your mind, because you should get better so you can at least stay in your position, so people would look at you and be amazed, so you would feel like you accomplished something even though you feel like you should do better. No, you wouldn't let this happen with skateboarding, that was only yours and Reki's. “Earth to Y/n!” Reki's sentence brought you back to reality. “Y/n, you have to stop dozing off, you look dumb.” Reki smirked and laughed. “Wow, thank you!” you said in highly sarcastic voice and punched his shoulder. You both started laughing. “Do you want to go and get some food? I'm starving!” Reki asked, standing up from his place. You looked up to him, “Of course!” You stood up and took your skateboard that was laying next to you. You and Reki got on your boards and started skating to a local small shop.

You never got lost in someone's eyes, as everyone says. You didn't quite even understand that phrase, you knew it was about falling in love but that was all you knew. Well, you didn't understand it till you didn't met Reki. You didn't quite got lost in his eyes, it was more of you getting lost in his skating. It was hypnotising. All though, no one shared that feeling with you. “Here you go!” Reki smiled at you passing you your favourite drink and snack. “Thanks!” you smiled at him, reaching for your wallet. He saw your motion and instantly said: “Oh, no! Don't pay me back!” You looked at him, staying in one spot, with your wallet already in your hand. “It's okay, really! Besides I own you from the last time.” Reki insured you. You shrugged and putted your wallet back. “Oh hey guys!” you heard from your right. You both knew who it was, Langa. You looked at him. “Hey!” Reki waved at him. “Hi!” you said, little nervous. You wasn't nervous it was more like you were annoyed.

Reki helped you more then he realised. He was lot of times the reason you kept going, it didn't matter if it was a hobby or something else, he was there for you even when he wasn't present. You didn't get it, and you thought it was quite stupid you felt that way. You met thousands upon thousands of people, so why did he had such effect on you? Of course, you were mad at yourself for letting that happen, all though you didn't know how it all happened. You watched as Langa was practically flying in the air. Reki was amazed, cheering his friend on. It was impressive it really was, but it felt boring watching Langa fly. All though, you felt bored to death, watching Langa skate had it's perks. If you were watching him, you were watching him closely, every move he made, so in the end you could get little better as well. “Woah, Langa! That was cool!” Reki patted his friend on the back. “Yeah, it was impressive!” you said smiling. Langa laughed and said, “Thanks, I didn't expect to jump that high.” “Damn, Langa, don't flex on us!” Reki sarcastically smirked. “Huh?” Langa let out a sound of pure confusion. Langa, a blue-haired boy that was talented athlete. He wasn't good with emotions and lot of times not picking up the tones of sentences and he, as well, didn't understand love. But in “S” he was a respected member, quickly going up in the ranks, and getting recognised by ADAM himself.

He had talent, but you were scared for him. You didn't think the fame was getting into his head, it was more, that the desperate push of wanting to go faster was crawling into his head.

And you know that Reki saw it too. You were both scared that Langa would end up just like Icarus. Flying high, but with a fall.

As you finally get to the grounds of “S”, you could see Miya and Shadow fighting. You, Reki and Langa went straight to them.

“SHUT U, OLD MAN!” Miya yelled in annoyance. “YOU- Oh hey guys!” Shadow greeted us.

“Hi Shadow.” you smiled at him. You practically zoned out after that, just remembering Joe and Cherry enter the arena with all their glory, fighting over something.

“Shut your mouth, you peanut-sized brain ape!” Cherry scuffed, as they were coming over to use. “Geez, why are you always fighting? At this point, you look like a married couple!” you smirked at them, knowing that you action would anger them.

“I would never marry this machine-obsessed idiot!” Joe said, looking at Cherry with annoyance.

“Yeah, yeah, sure.” you laughed.

Reki got ready for his race. As the last the green light glowed above them, they started skating. You didn't even know who he was racing against. You was so fixated on Reki and his skating, that you forgot everything about the world around you.

As Reki passed the finish line as first one, we started cheering. He started running towards you. Langa moved little towards him, and they hugged. It was no big deal, they were friends. In fact, they were a really close friends. It was no big deal, except it was. It broke you, seeing them hug each other.

You and Reki. It was always you and Reki, until Langa appeared in the class. From that point it was Langa and Reki. They were the duo. You despite Langa at first, you had burning hatred towards him but you learn to stop jugging him. Well, how could YOU judge HIM?

He only find out what it was to be with Reki, and how awesome Reki is.

Reki was your reason to breathe, to walk, to get up every morning, to keep on going on your path, to do everything in your life. He was the whole meaning of your life, hell, he WAS your life.

But you weren't his.

It wasn't a problem.

It just hurt you...it hurts too much.

Too much for it to be real. All though, it was the realest thing in your life.

Summary: Reki tries to teach you how to skate! (NOT CLICKBAIT) (GONE WRONG)

"Woah!"

You say before you crash into a tree. Reki was trying to help you skate, despite you telling him that you can't for the life of you. So, when he wanted to help you turn, you fell, tripped, and went head-first into the tree. Reki rushed to your side with a worried look.

"Are you okay!?" He asked you, helping you up. You groan and rub your head from where you bumped it. "Ow, obviously not." You mutter. This sucks. "I told you I can't skate," You said with a mumble as Reki chuckled awkwardly. "I thought you were exaggerating!" He protested as if that made it any better.

"Yeah, okay. I'm never getting on a skateboard again." You declare picking up the skateboard Reki lent to you. "You can't give up!" Reki said refusing to take back the board and pushing it into your chest. "Come on! How are you gonna accompany me to S?!" Reki said trying to convince you to keep trying. You sighed and put your hand on your forehead. "Reki, it's been months and I still can't stay on it without falling." You said as Reki groaned dramatically.

"Come on, please! I promise I'll catch you this time!" Reki pleaded with you putting his hands together and making a pleading expression. So, reluctantly you gave in. Like always. "Fine.." You say looking away as he cheers, grabs your arm, and brings you back to where you both started. You get on the board, and he holds your hand as you gently push yourself to get the board rolling. He stays walking beside you to catch you in case you fall.

You slowly went faster, until you hit a rock. You tumble forward making Reki try to catch you but he fell as well. Which led the both of you to tumble over with you landing on top of him and him hitting his back on the floor. "Ow.." Reki muttered before he heard a small laugh come from your mouth. "Wha- are you laughing at me?!' Reki said noticing your stifled laugh and your amused face. "I'm sorry! It's just, that I've never seen you fall like that before!" You say while laughing. "You fell too smartass! It's not funny!" Reki said his cheeks heating up with embarrassment.

You gradually calmed down and you helped him get up. He grumbled and looked away from you. "Come on, I'm sorry! You've laughed multiple times when I busted my ass on the floor!" You said trying to get him to look at you. He only thought and started laughing too. "Yeah, I guess you're right." He said with a smile before engulfing you in a tight hug. "Come on! I'll bring it over and we can rest! Falling like that really hurt." He said picking up the board and tucking it under his arm.

"Yeah imagine hitting your head on the tree." You said as you followed after him, your hands interlocked. "Ooh, ouch yeah." He said with a laugh.

"Did you hear that?"

Reki asked Langa stopping in his tracks. He heard the slight sound of a violin being played. Langa looked at him shaking his head. "I don't hear anything." He said with a slight confused look. What exactly did Reki hear?

"I'll be right back!" Reki exclaimed before going to where the sound was coming from. It got a bit louder when he got closer. He stopped at the music room and opening the door slightly to peek in. The only thing he could say to describe what he saw was breathtaking.

In the music room was a person with (h/l) (h/c) hair and the school's uniform. They were sitting on the floor playing the violin. They were looking over music notes while playing. They muttered to themselves under their breath. They looked a bit frustrated but the music and melody they created sounded amazing.

"Hey! That sounds amazing!" Reki exclaimed going into the music room. You flinched a bit before averting eye contact. "You really think so? It's not great.. I could do better.." You say while looking down at the violin in your hand. Reki just looked confused.

"You could do better?! But you're already so cool! How long did it take you to learn?!" Reki asked wanting to know more about you. You just.. intrigued him. "It took me ten years.. I started when I was 7." You say putting the violin back in it's case. "Ten years?! That's so cool! My name is Reki! What's yours?" Reki asked you offering you a hand to sit up. You smile softly and take his hand. "Y/n.. Nice to meet you Reki." You say with a smile.

"Nice to meet you too!" Reki said after staring at you for a second. He felt his cheeks grow warmer and his heartbeat quicken. He doesn't know why he feels like this. Maybe how you smile? How you talk? The way you play the violin? Or maybe.. the melody?

• Before you started dating, Reki had a huge crush on you.

• If you skate then you would be his crush from 'S'.

• If you don't skate you would be his crush from school.

• His love language would be physical touch and gift giving.

• He loves loves loves making you things in his workshop and gets bashful when you compliment him.

• He would definitely text you regularly whether it be good morning, good night, or just whatever he does during the day.
