Haha so remember this from yesterday? Yeah it was just supposed to be a silly little one-time thing but now I've been face smacked with ideas for this au so now I must rant. (Also note I've never actually watched hannah montana sooo) ANYWAY.

Wwx is adopted by the jiangs who are ex-superstars , and they're like not the best caretakers... both yzy and jfm want their children to be the next "big hit" but jyl isn't really good at music, and Jiang Cheng is not doing too hot in the industry, also Wwx being a music progidy never even crosses yzy and jfms minds!

This leds to wwx starting a music account anonymously, which.. blows up! Anywho, so now the "Yilling laozou" is born.

Both jyl and jc don't know abt wwxs double life, jc because wwx thinks his secret identity being a bigger hit than his own career would break their already strained relationship.

Wn and wq are the only ones who know of his secret identity (and are also the only reason it stays a SECRET identity) Wn found out om accident which means wq was immediately informed.

In this au Wwx has a major crush on lwj (and is self-aware of it) buy when he finds out that lwj is a huge yllz fan, he's immediately like "Oh no my crush is in love with my alter ego!" And so that's the story or why yllz is constantly hitting on a unsuspecting lwj, Lwj has yet to return any feelings to yllz in fact he seems to avoid his advances... I wonder why, totally not cause he's in love with wwx not at all.

Also Jin Zixuan is a huge music rival to the yllz so when jin zixuan walks into wwxs home one day as jyls bf he almost descends (Jin zixuan has no idea to why this guy who looks oddly familiar hates him with such passionate fire) (and for anyone wondering the music rivalry is mutual)

Additionally, NHS is a HUGE Yllz Stan and is the closest person to have come to figuring out his identity

Wei Wuxian is such a funny character cause like: yes he's a progidy he's a master in Swordsmanship and archery, he can create artistic master pieces, he can create any tailsmen he literally created ghost cultivation!! But- OH DEAR GOD WHO LET HIM IN THE KITCHEN AGAIN?

I need a mdzs au/fic? where wwx is actually evil but, like not full blown psychopathic and lwj is just constantly agreeing with him.

I love the Canon fact that mo xuanyus body is literally molding into looking like wwxs og body, imagine one day lwj wakes up only to be met with a similar person looking at him, an exact replica except for the fact his eyes are not gray as he remembers and he's not towering him.

I imagine wangxians confession scene to be the most insane piece of lore to bestow the cultivation world because its such a "Oh... that makes much more sense" so they just decide to exaggerate it like they usually do cause THAT IS SOME GOOD LORE.

Fast forward a few months, the story of the yilling laozu (Credits to the cultivation world) is a tragic tale of love and healing where Lan wangji and Wei wuxian were both secretly in love but could not come out because of the fear of guaranteed backlash and so they'd become bitter exs yet, still madly in love that is until wei wuxian died. Coming back after 13 miserable years they'd decided love wins.

Wangxian are amused.

Jiang cheng is sure he's in hell.

The juniors (except jin ling and lan yuan) find it so romantic and cute.

The fact that mxtx has stated mdzs in world does in fact have a emperor... like dude where are you??? How are you letting all dis slide..

I'm not sure if it was ever brought up in any of the mdzs iterations (it's been a while since I've read/watched mdzs) but how the hell did yanli even enter the battle field?

Like you're telling me no one thought to atleast send gaurds to protect this women who oh so recently gave birth recently WIDOWED literally talk of the town KNOWN for loving her family?

Like jiang cheng atleast should've thought about having someone look after her?

Honestly sick and tired of mdzs (or mxtx fans in general) having a knack for blaming wwx on many of his "bad" actions like hello? Did we read the same novel?? The sects are corrupt frankly even if wwx hadn't accidentally killed jin zixuan that day they would've still went after him... While wwx may not be a white sheep most of his "bad" actions were always either A) justified or B) An accident.

Even before demonic cultivation wwx was being constantly oppressed because of who his parents were, even the jiangs yes even jc. (Except maybe yanli) He was a brother a inventor a genius when convenient and a murderer a servant a devil when useless.

Going back to what I was saying earlier what exactly did you guys expect wwx 2 do when being ambushed? Or when seeing innocent ppl being murdered?

Was he supposed to stand and look pretty as hords of Jins attacked him? Was he supposed to stand by the sidelines as he watched the sects he sacrificed everything for slaughter 100s of innocents?

Also I blame nothing of yanlis death on wwx, yanli willingly came up to a bloody battlefield and willingly gave herself up in place of her brother.

Wwx was the only character (excluding lwj) who stood up to corruption when he saw it Wwx is justice and justice comes with a sacrifice sometimes stop being blinded with character bias and ignoring the major point of the whole novel.

Why is drawing wwx a nightmare but drawing lwj so easy.

Please tell me its not just me facing this dilemma

i don't vote on my own polls but just know I'm torn between manslaughter, gatekeep, and malewife

mxtx main characters as drivers

wwx: would be a good driver if he didn't get distracted every 5 minutes and constantly forget where he's supposed to be going (jc swears he does the latter on purpose but doesn't have any proof yet). when he's not distracted hes usually going 5 above the speed limit. has a random playlist for all driving occasions ("why do you have a 'just burnt down a walmart and now I'm on the run' playlist?" "why shouldn't i?")

lwj: the example of the perfect driver. will drive the exact speed limit and will refuse to go a single mile over ("lan zhan please we dont have to drive so slow" "its a school zone.the speed limit is 15" "lan zhan the school has been closed for 10 years pls go faster im begging" "no."). mostly plays classical music, podcasts or the rare romance song while driving

xl: decent driver when he gets the opportunity to drive. goes hard on the brakes bc he scared of hitting someone. will let people cut in front of him bc "they might have somewhere important to be". mostly listens to random radio stations for variety

hc: speed demon unless he's with xl. even then he's still a pretty safe driver. carries sticky notes to rate other drivers skills and put them on their car with notes (no one has gotten over a 7). extremely picky about music while driving, if he hates the song you play your banned from ever playing music in his car again. will always listen to music selections from xl

sy/sqq: hates driving with every fiber of being but still got his license. has extreme road rage and has pulled up next to someone to rage abt their driving to their face (spolier he made them cry). will only drive if he actually needs too, this man is a passenger princess. not too picky abt music surprisingly but doesn't like the volume to be too loud

lbh: very good driver. if you piss him off while driving he will either ride way too close to your bumper and follow you for a short time to freak you out or start driving purposefully slow and refuse to let you pass. Music depends on his mood or the events he has going in that day. date nights will be romance and happy songs, dropping sqq off to hangout out with lqg will be heartbreak/when will my love return songs, returning from a business meeting is loud ass rage music

Look I love a shen bros au as much as the next person, but everytime I see how people make them have the dynamic of "overprotective jiu-ge and his oblivious friendly didi" or "gruff but caring shen jiu and sneaky little brother shen yuan" I'm just sitting there like...you mean the shi siblings????....you guys want the nie brothers???
