But who is who?

(I know 457 are home of sexual bastards, but what about Jung-bae, Dae-ho, and Jun-hee?)

They are everything to me

[After In-ho fought Thanos and Nam-gyu]

Jun-hee: Um, excuse me, sir? You didn’t have to do that.

In-ho: Why not? Those two delinquents were beating that poor young man. I couldn’t just stand there. Someone needed to teach them a lesson.

Jun-hee: Actually, that “poor young man” is the father of my baby and he ghosted me for six months after I told him about my pregnancy.

In-ho: …He what?!

Myung-gi (walks up to In-ho): Thank you so much, sir. Those guys wouldn’t stop bothering me-

In-ho: (beats up Myung-gi) ASSHOLE! HOW YOU COULD GHOST YOUR GIRLFRIEND AND LEAVE HER ALONE WITH YOUR BABY?!

Dae-ho: Uh, should we do something?

Jung-bae: Nah. A real man would never abandon their child and wife. Well, girlfriend in this case.

Gi-hun (sad): Ga-yeong…

Thinking about how Gi-hun’s old and new teams would interact with each other.

For sure, Jung-bae, Dae-ho, and Ali would be besties and get along so well.

I think Sae-byeok would be like the protective older sister to Jun-hee, since she has a little brother and Jun-hee is pregnant.

Il-nam would be the evil dad we all hate of In-ho and tell him continuing the games is much more important than his son’s love for Gi-hun.

Sang-woo would be the first to know In-ho and Il-nam are the ones behind the games and In-ho would likely kill him, to keep him stay quiet and out of jealousy that Gi-hun likes him more.

(kicks down door) HEY

... Sae-byeok/Jun-hee

Is that anything? 👀

We already know Sae-byeok's type, and let's face it, Jun-hee and Ji-yeong share several characteristics. The highlights in their hair, for one thing.

Although very different people, they're both fiery (in their own ways), brave, not afraid to speak their truth or fight for themselves.

But while Ji-yeong felt that she had nothing to go home to after the Games, Jun-hee has her kiddo as her guiding compass, just like Sae-byeok has her little brother (and mother).

They might bond over the desire for family and stability - Sae-byeok, trying to bring her mother to safety with her and her brother after fleeing the North, and Jun-hee, an orphan who's never known family but wants to build her own.

Imagine them talking about what they'd do once they're out. Jun-hee describes a quiet, pleasant life with her son or daughter - a modest apartment, weekends at the beach and the park, art in the evenings. Safety. Rest. Sae-byeok smiles gently, a rare expression breaking through her stoicism, and murmurs that it sounds nice.

("There's room for one more," Jun-hee invites playfully, referring to her imaginary apartment, and Sae-byeok tilts her head.

"Three more, though?" she says doubtfully.

Jun-hee just shrugs and smiles. "Sure. The more the merrier. I'll need all hands on deck with the little one."

And Sae-byeok can't help but imagine it for a moment - a safe place to land with this tiny, round-eyed girl, a home for her family and a friend at her side, and feels a twinge in her chest -)

my theories for squid game season 3 (that no one asked for)

okay so the teaser has me put on a PEDESTAL and my mind came up with a lot of theories right after seeing it so here it goes:

i am writing this as i listen to vampire by olivia rodrigo

in-ho ordered to bring gi-hun inside a coffin back to the games, showing more of his cruelty and twisted game (tell me why is this idea kinda hot for me iDK I THINK IM DERANGED)

yong-sik (007) will die and geum-ja (149) will attempt to protect her son with the use of her sharp hair clip

...or geum-ja will go against yong-sik BUT THIS IS SO DAMAGING I-

all players are allowed to vote except gi-hun (seeing as he is tied up)

the next season will show gi-hun contemplating his beliefs in humanity and might slowly turn like in-ho

min-su will have redemption arc (hOPEFULLY BECAUSE THIS GUY IS A FKN PUSSY)

nam-gyu will die (OF COURSE)

remember the scene where in-ho seemed to be tearing up? i think he sees jun-ho somewhere in a surveillance camera footage

...or in-ho could be tearing up if he sees jun-hee give birth as the baby's cries will highlight his longing for his unborn child

gyeong-seok is alive and is going to be one of the guards (no-eul will help him)

jun-ho finds the island and sees no-eul and they might team up together

in-ho and jun-ho will reunite only for one of them to die (typing this made me sick)

jun-hee will give birth after myung-gi dies (or myung-gi sacrifices himself for jun-hee)

another cruelty: myung-gi will betray jun-hee

dae-ho finds about jung-bae and is completely devastated

the players who participated in the rebellion who died will be hung or something like that just like the doctor in season 1

gi-hun finds out about young-il who is truly in-ho, the front man

gi-hun finds out in-ho is jun-ho's brother, which could be the last straw for him to still believe in humanity

there will be a flashback of in-ho back when he was a player in 2015

also a flashback of in-ho before the games, explaining the deleted scene in season 1

gi-hun wins the games again - his efforts to stop the games will be for nothing as he realizes that it happens all over the world

YES there's a lot of theories but can you blame me ?! this teaser had me teRRIFIED WHAT MORE ON THE TRAILER, AND ON JUNE FREAKING 27!!!!
