Characters I Headcanon have Bipolar disorder

(From the perspective of someone living with Bipolar 2)

This is all meant to be in good fun and I’m no mental health expert; merely someone who has been through lots of therapy

Let’s Begin!

1. Rin Okumura from Blue Exorcist

I’ve always related to Rin Okumura, especially during the time I was under the mistaken diagnosis of ADD. I was surprised to learn from this that a lot of symptoms of bipolar can look like ADD/ADHD at times.

For example, Rin is shown to be someone who is easily distracted or fixated on new topics. He also tends to sleep a lot which is confirmed in the manga by the fact that this boy sleeps 12 hours every night. And finally a major factor that clued me in is how easily he is swayed by his emotions which leads him to act impulsively.

Rin’s emotions tie him to his demonic half which in turn can cause a lot of inner turmoil for him. I’m sure anyone with bipolar can relate in feeling like their change to either a manic/hypomanic state can cause them to feel like a demon and out of control. But as is shown in the series, by practicing to focus on his emotions, Rin learns to lessen and control his symptoms.

2. Gangle from The Amazing Digital Circus

I know I know, I’m lowkey pulling for stereotypes here with the tragedy and comedy masks. And on top of that this is a series with only a pilot so we hardly know anything concrete about her character. 😂

Everyone in the digital circus seems to play a role based off of their avatar given to them. As a being with two different masks, Gangle is very sensitive to the way in which she acts when her comedy mask is broken.

She tends to be very anxious and sensitive to the events that unfold around her both physically and mentally (she unravels from a mere bowling ball being thrown her way by Jax).

In some fandom interpretations of her character I’ve seen interesting depictions that also heavily give bipolar vibes like Gangle having an abstracted self tied to her ribbons or forcing on her comedy mask. I love Gangle and this pilot.

3. Captain SpaceBoy from Omori

Oh poor Captain SpaceBoy. He’s so heavily influenced by any mood swings he experiences that he seems to take on an entirely new persona whether it be SpaceBoyfriend, Space-ExBoyfriend, SpaceHusband, or Space-ExHusband.

When you first meet his character, you can clearly see he is depressed as he refuses to leave his bed and throws away any special possessions that remind him of his heart ache. Later on he even goes as far as to isolate himself on top of a snowy mountain when the heartache returns to him again..

He is also easily consumed by a rage which seems similar to a manic/hypomanic state that leads him to fight the main cast of characters. Also when it comes to his special boss battle I find it interesting how you can only defeat him by fighting him in certain states of emotion.

4. Howl Jenkins Pendragon from Howl’s Moving Castle

Howl is undeniably a drama Queen, but some of the ways in which he takes certain actions give me some bipolar vibes.

There is of course the infamous scene in which he throws a tantrum due to Sophie organizing his hair dye potions. He swings very quickly from being irritated and enraged to absolutely inconsolable and depressed. He even spends that next couple hours in bed after this scene.

Howl also tends to lead himself to danger as he appears to be in heightened states of euphoria when he pushes himself to the limit with his magic. He is also rather impulsive when it comes to the relationships he makes with others if we are going off of his book persona.

But above all!! All these characters are shown to be good people who genuinely care about the feelings of others and try to do their best to help even when their own mental health is bringing them down.

Bipolar individuals are more than their disorder; we are all kind people ♥️

I did a bunch of doodles of Avery, Spaceboy, spaceboyfriend and Berri (my basil oc) cause I’m as bored. This took me HOURS to do lmaoo

Im so normal about Spaceboy and spaceboyfriend. But fr I love them so much they’re my favourite headspace characters (heck might even be my favourite omor characters in general)

It was a beautiful morning outside, the sun was shining brightly and the birds were singing... A perfect day for a pleasant walk in the park. The warm sunlight cracked through the blinds in the room, it actually made things a little cosier. Avery’s eyes slowly opened and they grunted a little bit, sitting up and rubbing their eyes. Their head felt… a little fuzzy. Probably because they were still a little sleepy. Avery yawned and turned their head to their left, looking down at a sleeping Spaceboy, he was faced away from them as he slept, Avery quietly giggled at this. They reached down and gently poked his back, a little smile on their face. “Rise and shine handsome~” Avery whispered in his ear, a smug smile on their face, they waited a few seconds, he didn’t even stir… huh. Oh right… he’s a heavy sleeper.” Avery mumbled to themself, they placed their hand on his shoulder and squeezed. Again, nothing. Avery raised an eyebrow, they shook him. “Are you pretending to sleep again?” Avery waited for a response, nothing… again. Avery huffed, rolling their eyes playfully. “Okay seriously, get up Spaceboy.” Avery spoke, their voice a little louder and their tone more stern but slightly worried. Avery suddenly noticed they could smell something metallic, they also heard a dripping noise coming from where Spaceboy was… whatever the liquid was it was hitting the floor… What was that about…? “…Spaceboy?” Avery’s heart started to race a little and a cold sweat started. Avery slowly put both of their hands on his shoulder, he was… strangely cold. They sighed, before turning him around, hoping to see that handsome face they fell in love with. But what Avery saw caused them to shriek and jump back off of the bed, landing on their back. Avery’s blue eyes went wide and filled up with terror and their face went paper white. Where his right eye should have been, it was gone, gouged out and blood and juices were spilling out of his eye socket and there was blood coming out of his mouth. He was dead.

Avery couldn’t get a word out as they stared at his lifeless body bleeding all over the bed, their entire body was shaking as they started to hyperventilate, they felt as if they were going to puke from the horrible sight. Avery’s head was spinning and they felt as if they were going to suffocate from pure fear and anxiety. “No… no, no! NO! THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING.” Avery sobbed, their lungs struggled to breathe and static noise started to fill their ears. “You can’t be gone… you…” Avery squeezed their eyes shut and clutched their head in their hands, tugging at their hair and digging their fingers into their scalp. “I’m so sorry… I should have been there to protect you!” Avery sobbed, they should have been there when those people took him… Spaceboy should have been safe, now look at what became of him! The room around them started to fade away to black, all that was there was Spaceboys body and Avery. The only words that came out of Avery’s mouth were “I’M SORRY I’M SORRY I’M SORRY-” Over and over again in choked up sobs.

“Avery…” Avery heard a faint voice calling their name from somewhere, but couldn’t focus on it, the smell of the blood and the image of Spaceboys dead body overwhelmed all of their senses way too much. “Avery!” Avery felt everything start to fade away, they kept crying and their eyes opened, their ears started to ring loudly. So… loudly. They couldn’t process anything other than that Spaceboy was dead and it was all their fault. They couldn’t protect him, they broke the promise they made to protect him, he was gone. It was all their fault. It was all their fault. It was all their-

“AVERY!” Avery’s eyes shot open and they gasped loudly, they shot up from the bed and they were shaking all over. Avery’s tear filled eyes darted around the bedroom, it was the middle of the night and the moonlight peaked through the curtains. The only thing Avery could hear was a loud ringing in their ears, unable to focus on anything as the image from that horrible nightmare flashed in their eyes and their stomach started to churn. They didn’t even realise that right next to them was Spaceboy, safe and sound but… staring at them with a wide eye and look of great concern. “Avery? Hey… look at me.” Spaceboy reached a hand out slowly to put it on Avery’s shoulder, but they suddenly got right out of the bed and rushed out of the bedroom. “Avery! What…” Spaceboy called out, quickly getting out of the bed and rushing behind them, he heard the door to the bathroom fly open, a loud thump, then… the sound of Avery vomiting. Spaceboy’s look of worry only worsened, he flicked the bathroom light on and stared down at Avery, he slowly crouched down next to Avery and rubbed circles on their back, trying to comfort them. After a few seconds the vomiting ceased and Avery sat up right, they were shaking horrendously and they looked so pale, after flushing the toilet they slowly turned to Spaceboy, their eyes were wide, red and filled with tears. “Avery… are you okay?” Avery said nothing, all they could do was stare. Spaceboy could see how terrified they were, he felt his stomach drop at their current appearance, their hair was a mess, their breathing was heavy and their body was drenched in sweat. “Stars… what happened?” He mumbled in concern, Spaceboy had never seen Avery act like this before, they looked shell shocked which just made him worry even more.

Silence filled the room as Avery continued to stare at Spaceboy, particularly into his eyes as if they were taking him in. Avery’s eyes were filled with nothing but anxiety… After a few seconds, Avery’s empty eyes softened and they clenched their fists tightly, before suddenly grabbing Spaceboy and yanking him close. Avery wrapped their arms around him and buried their face into Spaceboys chest. Spaceboy jumped at the sudden embrace and his arms flew up in surprise, he was about to say something but… then he heard Avery loudly sobbing and noticed that they had started hyperventilating. Spaceboys expression softened and he wrapped his arms around his partner, looking down at them with concern and sorrow. “Hey, hey… it’s okay Avery...” Spaceboy spoke, his voice barely above a whisper. “‘I’m sorry… I’m SO sorry!” Avery cried out, tears streaming down their pale face as their eyes squeezed shut. “Huh? What are you…” “I should have been there! I shouldn’t have gone to work that day!” Avery coughed out, choking on their own tears, devolving into incoherent cries, coughs and sputters. Spaceboys eye widened as he suddenly realised what was up, he looked down at the top of Avery’s head, they kept repeating how sorry they were in choked up sobs. “Oh Avery…” Spaceboy sighed, he slowly but surely tilted their head up with both hands. Avery looked up at him, their eyes were red and puffy and they felt as if their throat was constricted. It was so much harder to breathe than normal. “Okay, what we’re going to do is breathe together. All you have to do is do what I do. Alright?” Spaceboy instructed, wiping their tears away with his thumbs, his heart ached as he saw how upset Avery was, it pained him to see them blame themself for his mistakes.

Avery nodded slowly, they were shaking all over and they were clutching onto Spaceboy tightly. Spaceboy held both sides of their face with his hands as gentle as he could be. “Alright, good. Just… copy me okay? Breathe in…” Spaceboy and Avery both breathed in air through their noses, for four seconds to be precise. “Hold.” They held their breath for four seconds. “Breathe out.” They exhaled through their mouths for four more seconds. “Good, just keep doing that for me okay? You’re doing great.” Spaceboy gave them a reassuring smile, holding them close and pecking the top of their head gently. “Keep doing that okay? It’s supposed to help, I think.” Spaceboy said, looking down at Avery to make sure they didn’t freak out again. “…okay…” Avery mumbled, repeating the breathing pattern. In… hold… out. In…hold…out.

Minutes passed, Avery’s heart rate eventually started to slow back to normal and they weren’t as pale anymore. They still looked… disturbed though. Spaceboy was right there the whole time, cradling them in his arms and reassuring them, he looked into those pretty blue eyes that he adored and finally spoke. “Feel better?” He asked, Avery hummed in response. “Yeah, a little…” Spaceboy nodded, gently placing a hand on their cheek. “Good… that’s good.” Said Spaceboy, Avery sighed, they held Spaceboys hand against their cheek and closed their eyes. “I’m glad that you're safe captain…” Avery mumbled, squeezing his hand gently. Spaceboy stared for a moment, even if they felt a little better… he was still concerned. “Do you want to tell me what happened?” Spaceboy asked, his voice was so gentle, he didn’t want to stress Avery out after all. Avery thought for a moment, before pulling away from him and rubbing their wrists nervously as they stared down at the bathroom tiles. “Maybe when my mouth doesn’t taste like vomit.” Avery smiled weakly, Spaceboy nodded in response and returned the soft smile. “Okay, you freshen up while I get you some water, yeah?” He placed a gentle kiss on their hand before standing up. As he was about to leave the room he looked back at Avery for a moment before leaving the room. Avery sighed, they felt bad for walking Spaceboy up but… maybe it was for the best. They stood up and went to the sink, grabbed their toothbrush and the toothpaste and began to brush their teeth, the minty flavour of the toothpaste was nice and did a good job of getting that horrible taste out of their mouth.

Spaceboy switched on the lights to the kitchen, sighing softly and walking in. He opened up one of the cabinets and got out a glass, one of the many that was in the cabinet, he went over to the sink and turned the tap on, water gushing out and into the glass. As the glass filled with water, his mind wandered off. Just moments ago he had witnessed Avery having a nightmare. He remembered waking up abruptly and looking over to Avery, only to see them crying in their sleep. Spaceboy sighed at the thought, his expression shifting to one of sorrow. He felt shitty that Avery was suffering because of his own mistakes, they didn’t deserve that. Not one bit. They were so… amazing, too wonderful to even put into words. Spaceboy wanted to see them happy again, he smiled just the tiniest bit at the thought of them smiling again, it warmed his heart. As he stared off into space, he jumped at the sudden sensation of the cold water hitting his skin, he hadn’t even realised the glass had overflowed with water. Spaceboy quickly turned the tap off and poured some of the water out, he wiped the water that had gotten on his hand on his shirt, which left a little water stain and he started to make his way back to the bathroom, Spaceboy had decided right then and there that he was gonna do his best to make them smile again.

By now Avery had finished brushing their teeth, they were sitting on the edge of the bath and staring at the floor, doing those breathing methods to try and calm down a bit more. Avery’s gaze shifted from the tiled floor up to the door where Spaceboy stood. He walked over and handed them the glass of water, Avery smiled a little, a sad one. They took the glass and sipped, the cool liquid going down their throat helped soothe the burning feeling in their throat from retching a few minutes prior. Spaceboy sat down on the ledge of the bath next to them, it was silent. The captain was trying to come up with the right words to say while Avery just didn’t have that much energy in them to speak. “Do you want to talk about it now?” Spaceboy asked, looking down at them as he gently took their hand. Avery sighed softly, that image of him from that nightmare… it was still fresh in their mind, as if it had burned itself into Avery’s retinas and they couldn’t look away. “I’ll try, but I don’t think I’m gonna get through it without crying again.” Spaceboy frowned, he scooted closer to Avery and wrapped his arm around their waist to gently pull them in closer for a side hug. “I’m right here, don’t worry.” Avery smiled weakly, resting their head on his shoulder before sighing and starting to slowly explain the events of the nightmare, their eyes watering more and more as they kept on explaining.

“And… then I woke up…” *Avery finished explaining the graphic details of the nightmare, they glanced at Spaceboy, who looked the most worried and concerned he had ever felt in his life. Avery looked away, feeling ashamed of themself. Ashamed that their mind had created such a disturbing dream. They… they didn’t want to worry Spaceboy with a stupid freak but… they would probably go mad if they didn’t talk about it. They took another sip of their water without saying anything, they were too nervous to do so. Spaceboy sighed and looked down at the floor, leaning over a little as he did so. “Christ Avery… that’s horrible.” Avery nodded and put the glass of water down on the floor. “But… I’m here now, aren’t I?” Spaceboy asked, moving his hand over to Avery’s chin and making them look at him. “Listen closely, I’m not going anywhere. Not any time soon, alright? You can count on that.” Spaceboy wiped the tears that were silently rolling down Avery’s cheeks, flashing a small, yet tired smile at them. Avery shakily sighed and took one of Spaceboys hands in their own, squeezing it a little bit. “I…I know. I just can’t stop worrying.” Avery huffed as they rubbed their eyes tiredly, it was true. Avery has always been the type to worry about the people they loved, it was just in their nature to do so. Spaceboy admired that, he thought it was charming. But it also made him worry in turn. The Captain gently pulled Avery closer to him and cupped their cheek, brushing some hair out of their face.

“Well, that’s a good thing to me. You worry cause you care right?” Avery nodded, leaning into Spaceboys hand and smiling just the tiniest bit. “Yeah… of course I care. How couldn’t I?” Spaceboy smiled at Avery, he leaned in a little bit. “You care about me, that’s why you keep thinking something bad is gonna happen… that’s really sweet to me, Bunny.” Spaceboy smiled warmly at Avery, stars… he loved them so much. They were so sweet… ack, he could melt around them. “Spaceboy, c-come on…” Avery mumbled as they looked away nervously, their cheeks going red. “What? I’m just being honest… darling.” Spaceboy teased, gently pecking Avery on the lips and playing around with their hair. “Hm… you want to know the best part about waking up?” “What?” Spaceboy leaned in even closer to Avery, smiling even more. “I get to look at you…”

Avery’s eyes widened and they snorted, looking away and pushing him playfully. “Spaceboy… Be serious!” Avery joked with an amused smile on their face, that seemed to have cheered them up quite a bit! Spaceboy chuckled and brought Avery in even closer. “There’s my happy bunny!” “S-Spaceboy… you’re gonna make me go all red!” Avery laughed loudly as Spaceboy started to plant several kisses all over their pretty face. The captain hugged them tightly as he did this, not wanting to let them go, he was enjoying kissing them so much! Avery just laughed and snorted the entire time, squirming a little bit but eventually giving in. After a big batch of kisses were planted all over Avery’s face and neck, Spaceboy eventually stopped, he was grinning and he held onto both of Avery’s hands. “Feel better yet?” Spaceboy questioned as he looked into Avery’s eyes for an answer. Avery was smiling like an idiot and their face was entirely red, they nodded and crossed their arms. “Still a little shook up… but I think I’ll be fine to go back to bed.” “That’s what I like to hear.” Spaceboy stood up, holding his hand out for Avery. “I’ll be just fine, okay? If anything does happen to me… then you beat the crap out of whoever killed or hurt me alright?” Spaceboy joked, Avery picked up their glass of water and took Spaceboys hand without missing a beat.

Spaceboy led Avery out of the bathroom, making sure to turn all of the lights off as he did so… wouldn’t want to waste the electricity. Once they got back to their bedroom, Avery set the glass of water down on the nightstand and slipped back under the covers. Spaceboy joined them, once they were both under they immediately went into their usual sleeping positions. Spaceboys arms wrapped around Avery and he rested his chin on the top of Avery’s head, while Avery would cuddle up with him and press their head against his chest, just so they could listen to their heart beat… it calmed Avery down so much, to know that he was okay, safe and sound… they really did love him. Avery yawned and closed their eyes, feeling exhausted from the events of the night… they just wanted to sleep. Spaceboy felt the same way, he was tired…. But happy that Avery was doing better. “Mhm… I love you, please don’t die or anything like that…” Avery sleepily mumbled as they nuzzled his chest. Spaceboy smiled tiredly, placing a hand on the back of their head and playing with their hair.

“I won’t, starlight. I promise. I’m gonna fight for you and me in whatever way I can, alright? You can count on it.” Spaceboy gently kissed Avery on the top of their head, closing his eye. Avery smiled and cupped his cheek, leaning in for a soft, tender kiss. Spaceboys eye shot open at that, a warm blush spreading across his cheeks before he returned the kiss, holding Avery’s hand. A few seconds later they both pulled away, smiling at each other like the dorks that they were. “I love you, Spaceboy…” Avery whispered, moving their head back down to his chest and closing their eyes. Spaceboy chuckled softly and sighed, closing his eye and starting to drift back off to sleep almost immediately. It was two in the morning after all. “I love you too, Avery.” And with that… the happy couple fell asleep in each others arms once again, this time… Avery knew for sure that Spaceboy would be okay and Spaceboy… he knew that Avery was always going to be by his side… no matter what the future brought upon them.

(YEAHHHH GUESS WHO’S BACK WITH THE STORIES YIPPIEEEE Idk if this could be counted as a oneshot or the third spacebunny story lol. But anyways, look at what you’ve caused bossman you fucking dollar store oncler sid the sloth looking ass you’ve traumatised the pair of them >:( Since it’s the summer now I’m hoping to write more for the sv au :D @omori-sv-au LOOK I MADE AVERY GO THROUGH IT AGAIN also that’s who the sv au belongs to :p)

Since we’re on the subject of the sillies… I’m gonna dump some spacebunny hcs here (most could be considered for both the sv au and headspace)

1. Avery has definitely called Spaceboy baby girl as a joke before

2. One time when they were hanging out Spaceboys soda exploded all over him and Avery laughed their ass off for about 5 minutes. But then they opened their soda and it also exploded and they both started laughing about it

3. (Sv hc!) Kel and Aubrey know about Avery and Spaceboys relationship but they just don’t know that Avery is sea bunny

4. Spaceboy is bisexual while Avery is gay

5. Avery likes using Spaceboys cape as a blanket sometimes, it’s a comfort thing for them

6. When Avery’s doing something while standing up Spaceboy will hug them from behind and watch what they’re doing

That’s enough for today Iolol, the sv au has actually consumed my brain it’s crazy. The au is just so good so far, definitely looking forward for it to continue! (Also for when Spaceboy comes back and is available for questions because I need to give him the tiny Avery for safe keeping. That is my mission.)

Also also, I’m currently working on an angsty oneshot for the sv goobers where Avery has a nightmare and Spaceboy comforts them, fuck you bossman you’ve traumatised the pair of them, prick.

I made a headspace version of Avery! So here’s some doodles and a lil sprite I made of them.

They’re an alien from an ocean planet that moved into underwater highway. They live in a hidden room in those caverns you travel through to avoid the gator tolls. They protect the sea bunnies from any harm!

Avery first met captain Spaceboy by finding him wandering around the caverns, looking sad. They asked why he seemed so glum and he explained that him and sweetheart got into a big argument. Avery felt bad for him so they invited him to the sea bunny area to hang out and just talk. It made the captain feel a lot better and that’s how their friendship started. He’d go down there and visit Avery to talk about astronomy, his crew and whatever else came to mind. As time went on Avery started to fall in love with him.

On the last day (after the space ex husband fight) they would give omori and co the task of delivering a letter to captain Spaceboy which is actually a love letter. The gang would go back to captain Spaceboy and give him the letter and he’d read it, then slowly become VERY flattered lol. After he reads it he decides that this could be a good opportunity for an actual healthy relationship lol. He goes down to underwater highway to tell Avery he accepts their confession. The two would then kiss and be cute and stuff.

I have so many headcanons for them it’s ridiculous lmao, I might post them one day with some doodles and such :)

Hey everybody, sorry for the lack of posts from me recently! I’ve been super busy between work and hero stuff, but here I am! I figured I’d summarise some stuff that’s happened to me in the past few weeks , it’s been wild lol

So to start off on a wholesome note, I was sick for a couple of days, normally I’d say it wasn’t a great experience but my boyfriend was there the whole time! He stayed with me until I recovered and he said he didn’t care if he got sick. He insisted that he took care of me, he’s so sweet i love him so much 🥰. I’m surprised he didn’t catch it, that man has a really strong immune system lmao (then again he’s very strong in general).

Secondly, I got to work with orange Joe and the pink delinquent the other day. They’re both a couple of years younger than me, but brilliant hero’s! We stopped a bank heist together and I gotta say… we make a pretty great trio! I used puddle water nearby to create a thick mist so the criminals couldn’t see anything and we knocked them out one by one! I turned the mist back into water and used it to make a rope so I could restrain those guys. The police came to take them in so orange Joe helped us in getting out of there with his super speed. After that, I got us some ice cream from the parlour and we basically just hung out to reward ourselves. Those two are honestly really cool, I’m wishing them a great future!

Hey all, sorry for not posting anything for sea bunny Sundays lately! I’ve been really busy dealing with some personal stuff and all that jazz

So to make up for it here’s some fun facts! (For Avery and spacebunny)

Avery moved from Scotland to faraway when they were 16

Their mom and dad both have powers! Their mom can control the weather while their dad has telekinesis (their dad used to be a hero but he’s retired)

Avery became a vigilante when they were 27

Avery and Spaceboy first met when Avery was 30 and Spaceboy was 32, they were introduced to him by Pluto as Sea bunny

When Avery comes home from hero work Spaceboy tends to their wounds, he makes sure to be really gentle

People see Sea bunny as the quiet and mysterious vigilante who’s pretty intimidating, when they both started working together Spaceboy was surprised to see that Sea bunny was actually really sweet.

Avery tries their best to be a good hero, they will always prioritise civilians safety before anything else. They don’t want to be flashy or flex about their popularity or anything, they just want to help people.

Once Avery found out about Spaceboys gambling addiction, they got to work on helping him get over it. It’s not quite gone but he’s definitely made some huge strides in stopping thanks to Avery

Hm, I’m not really sure to go about this but here we go! Hello everyone, my name is Avery! I’ve been kind of bored recently at work, sooo I thought it would be a good idea to post stuff here :)

I’m not sure what I’ll post, but I’ll figure it out. I guess I should introduce myself a little so you can get to know me better, for starters I work at the faraway ice cream parlour which is… an interesting experience! I just scoop ice cream and mop the floors, nothing too interesting. I also adore sea bunnies (probably obvious from my username). They’re just so cute! My favourite colour is blue and… oh! My favourite hero has to be captain Spaceboy! Such a handsome guy hehe ☺️ but I obviously like him for other stuff! Not just his looks, like how he’s a real sweetheart once you get to know him! (From what I’ve heard anyway)

That’s all for now! My break is nearly over and if my boss catches me slacking off I’ll get told off, if you have any questions for me then ask away! I’ll try to answer as much as I can, I’ve heard that some of faraways hero’s are also doing stuff like this, how interesting! Anyways, gotta go now!

(Hey all! It’s beep lol. I’ve decided to rp as my oc Avery every Sunday for Sea Bunny Sundays! It’s just something I’m having fun with for now, Avery is an oc for the @omori-sv-au which is a really cool omori au! I’ll be posting blogs like this, art and maybe other stuff if I can think of it)

Avery rushed through the streets with panic, their eyes wide and face pale with terror from the news they just heard minutes ago on the phone. They were on break at the ice cream parlour moments ago when they received a call from orange Joe, as soon as he told them that gator guys had kidnapped Spaceboy it was like their entire world had frozen in time. Avery remembered just abruptly ending the call and running out of the building in a state of panic, they were still running as fast as they could to try and find Spaceboy, they didn’t have their special boots along with their hero outfit so it was difficult to make their way around the streets by just running. But that didn’t stop Avery’s frantic search for Spaceboy, they were whispering cuss words from panic, what was the boss going to do with Spaceboy?! Avery kept running for a while longer before stopping and leaning against the wall of a building, out of breath. They took their phone out of their pocket, hoping to see that maybe Spaceboy had sent them a text or just… anything, but there was no sign that Spaceboy was okay and that scared them so much. Where on earth could he be? Avery sighed and put their phone away, starting to move again but keeping up a quick pace. Avery kept note that they were getting close to the last resort now, they had been keeping note of all the buildings they had gone by just in case they had to retrace their steps. As they were searching for Spaceboy, they noticed a figure in the distance, they were leaning against the wall and hunched over, hand covering one of their eyes. As Avery started to approach this person, their heart started to slowly sink inside of their body and their blue eyes started to widen with shock. Avery could instantly tell who that was and ran towards him, it was Spaceboy.

Avery tried to calm themselves down as they approached spaceboy but that stopped when they noticed a stream of blood was running down his right cheek from the eye he was covering. Spaceboys eye was wide from shock as he let out pained grunts and grimaced from the pain. Avery gasped in horror and covered their mouth when they realised what was up, his eye was gone. What happened? What did bossman do to him?! They couldn’t calm down anymore, their face was paper white from terror and they felt as if they were going to throw up. Spaceboy didn’t notice Avery was there, he was in far too much agony to notice what was going on, he felt someone pull him down to the pavement and he looked up to who was there, he was still terrified from what had happened to him today… why didn’t he just respond to bossman? He could have avoided this whole mess if he wasn’t such an idiot! Spaceboy sighed in relief to see Avery was there and that it wasn’t a gator guy coming to finish the job. “SPACEBOY! WHAT HAPPENED?!” Avery cried out, his blood started to get on their hands and tears spilled from their eyes as panicked sobs escaped from their throat. Spaceboy slowly looked up at Avery and managed to move his hand up to their face and wiped their tears away, his palms were clammy and he felt extremely dizzy. “Avery…” Spaceboy whispered, maybe it was the shock getting to him but right now all he could focus on was their tear filled eyes as he kept wiping the tears away. Avery couldn’t control their emotions, it was like a massive wave of terror engulfed their entire body and that they were drowning in it, they had never felt this type of fear before. To think that they failed to act on the promise they made to themself that night on keeping Spaceboy safe was horrible, they felt like a complete and utter failure and they were angry at themself for not being there when he was taken by the gator guys, they swore once they got their hands on Bossman that he would be no more, they would beat him up so badly that he wouldn’t be able to walk anymore.

Spaceboy rested his head against Avery's shoulder and sighed, they were talking on the phone but he couldn’t make out what they were saying, he was really out of it and it was definitely because of the blood he was losing. Even if he looked out of it on the outside he was terrified of the thought of dying from this, he also felt guilty. Guilty that he just let himself get kidnapped like that, guilty because this was all his fault for not paying Bossman and most of all, guilty because he subjected Avery to this mess and let himself get hurt. Spaceboy looked down at the ground, silent tears fell down his left cheek as these thoughts started to plague his mind, he let out a shaky sigh and rested his head against Avery’s chest so he could listen to their heart beat. He could feel that he was about to pass out and he wanted to do so in Avery’s arms, so he would be safe. Spaceboys vision started to slowly fade away, his eye closed and he started to black out. “Okay… the ambulance is on its way. Please hold on for me…” Avery mumbled, their voice sounded so muffled to Spaceboy, he didn’t respond straight away, a couple of seconds passed, then a few words escaped his lips before he fully passed out. “I’m so sorry Avery… I love you so much…” Avery looked down at Spaceboy, with a weary smile, their eyes were red from crying. That smile faded however as they realised he wasn’t moving, they felt their heart start to beat even more rapidly as they turned his face towards them. “Oh thank god… he’s still breathing.” Avery mumbled, they stared at his face and tears started to blur their vision once again, they held him close and wrapped their arms around him, quietly sobbing as they prayed to whatever higher being was listening to let Spaceboy live.

The sound of a heart monitor beeped in the hospital room along with steady breathing, Spaceboy was laying down in a comfortable hospital bed with bandages wrapped around his right eye. Avery was sitting in a chair next to him and keeping watch to make sure he was okay, that nobody would come in and take him away again. Avery sighed and looked at their hands, they had managed to scrub off the dried up blood in the bathroom but… it still felt like it was there. Avery sighed and looked down at Spaceboy, glancing at his hand which was dangling from the bed and gently took hold of it. They were so glad that Spaceboy was alive, that he was safe and sound, that was what calmed Avery down the most (despite them sniffling every once in a while). They looked down at Spaceboy before getting off the chair they were sitting on and letting go of his hand. Seeing Spaceboy like this made them feel horrible, the knowledge that someone they loved so deeply was in such conditions… it disturbed them, they needed a breather right now. “I’ll be right back, okay?” Avery said even though Spaceboy couldn’t hear them, they hoped some part of him would either way. Avery walked to the door, looking at Spaceboy one more time before leaving the room and gently shutting the door. They were so glad that he was okay now, they were so grateful towards the doctors that were able to help him out.

Walking along the hallways, Avery managed to find the doors that led to the hospital rooftop and opened them, stepping out into cold air and shivering, wrapping their arms around their waist to try and warm up. Avery looked over at the barricades and noticed one of them looked slightly different from the others, the colour was darker. “Huh… it’s a good thing they fixed that, wouldn’t want anyone falling off.” Avery mumbled to themself, resting their arms against the barricades and looking up at the sky, regret twinging at their heart again. It was quiet, too quiet, Avery took a deep breath and their head moved down to look at the carpark down below, they couldn’t stop thinking about how they just… weren’t there when Spaceboy needed them. How he was simply taken from the safety of their bedroom and straight to danger. The thought made Avery sick to their very stomach, they started to think back on previous conversations them and Spaceboy had in the past. “Okay… he said that he owed Bossman like… a lot of money. Maybe that’s why those gator guys took him…?” Avery whispered as the gears in their head turned as they started to think more. “How does someone even get ten thousand dollars? I might have to ask Ivan for a raise or something.” said Avery. They thought to themselves for a couple of minutes before they heard the doors behind them open, they jumped slightly before realising it was probably someone else who needed the fresh air.

Avery; out of curiosity, turned around to see who had come to the rooftop, only to see Spaceboy standing there with a tired smile on his face. Avery’s eyes widened from surprise to see their boyfriend just standing there, they didn’t know what to say. Why was he out of bed? They couldn’t move for a couple of seconds before Spaceboy broke the silence. “Hey bunny.” Spaceboy greeted, opening his arms to invite Avery for a hug. Avery wasted no time standing there and immediately jumped towards him, yanking him into a bear hug. “Woah! Avery I-” “Spaceboy… I’m so sorry!” Avery exclaimed, bursting into tears, it seems that the emotions they held in for the past couple of hours burst out by just seeing him standing there. “What are you talking about? Why are you apologising?” ” Spaceboy whispered, he was taken aback by the sudden tears and he was frozen from surprise, but he sighed, wrapping his arms around their waist and looking down at his partner with a clearly worried expression on his face. “I… I wasn’t there when you needed me! They just took you and I wasn’t there to protect you like I promised I would…” Avery wept as the thoughts that had been in their head ever since they found Spaceboy flowed out like a river, Spaceboys eye widened and he looked down at Avery, his face mixed with worry and disbelief that Avery would say such a thing. Spaceboy moved his hands up to Avery’s face to make them look up at him, his hands were cupping their cheeks. “Avery. None of this is your fault. You’re acting as if you’re the one who took my eye out. Stop apologising.” “But…” “Avery. Stop.” Spaceboys expression turned stern as he looked down at Avery who went silent, still sniffling every once in a while as they looked at the floor beneath them.

“I understand that you want to protect me, I want to protect you too.” Spaceboy paused, trying to gather his thoughts into words as he looked into Avery’s eyes before continuing. “But please, don’t ever think any of this was your fault. If anything… it’s mine.” Avery’s eyes widened, how could Spaceboy say something like that? They stayed silent because they wanted to hear what Spaceboy had to say before they gave their opinion on the matter. “If I actually just coughed up the money or… responded to Bossman's requests we wouldn’t be in the hospital, I’d still have an eye and… everything would be okay.” “Spaceboy… it’s ten thousand dollars. Nobody can cough up that much money so quickly.” Spaceboy scoffed and chuckled grimly, wiping a tear that fell from their eye with his thumb. “I’ve owed him that money for ages Bunny, because of my stupid gambling addiction I haven’t been able to cough it up yet.” Avery tilted their head slightly from confusion, hadn’t they both been working on that? “I know you’ve managed to help me cut it down pretty well since I told you about it but… it’s still hard you know?” “Yeah, I get it.”

The two heroes stayed quiet as they thought of what to say, before Avery broke the silence. “Can we talk about this later? I don’t think I can stomach talking about that rat bastard right now. Not after what he did to you.” Avery mumbled, Spaceboy chuckled at the remark and leaned in a little closer to Avery, their face heated up from him getting closer. What was he doing? “Alright, but first I want to see your smile.” Avery hesitated, looking away from Spaceboy as their cheeks started to go slightly pink. “Come on… where’s that lovely smile of yours Bunny?” Slowly, an uncontrollable grin started to light up their face, Spaceboy couldn’t help but smile as well as he laughed and pressed his forehead against theirs. “Oh I forgot to ask, how are you feeling?” Avery asked, Spaceboy hummed in thought, how did he feel? On the one hand, it felt really strange to not have an eye and he was still slightly shook up from the incident but on the other, just looking into Avery’s eyes washed all of his worries away and made his entire body feel like it was swelling with love. “Well I don’t feel as scared anymore, it feels weird only having one eye though. I doubt I’m getting any sleep tonight.” Avery nodded as they wrapped their arms around his neck, resting them there as Spaceboy placed his hands on their waist and pulled them just a little bit closer. “But I think I’ll be okay, how are you holding up now?” “I feel… better. I think.” Spaceboy nodded slowly, he looked back at the doors that led to the rooftop then back at Avery, his hands moved back to their face to cup their cheeks. “You know, the nurse is going to think that I was kidnapped. So I’d better get back to bed.” “Oh my god. I hate how I just realised that.” Avery snickered, enjoying Spaceboys touch and leaning into it. “Did you really? Because I think you just wanted me all to yourself Bunny~” Spaceboys voice suddenly lowered into that stupid teasing tone, Avery felt their face starting to heat up again and they playfully rolled their eyes. “Spaceboy I swear to god. Don’t you dare start.” Spaceboy laughed and pulled Avery’s face to his, giving them a gentle peck on the lips and looking back at them with adoration. “I love you so much.” “I love you too, captain.” Avery smiled as they pulled Spaceboy in and kissed him again, closing their eyes and enjoying the moment. This lasted for a moment before they both pulled away, smiling at each other with pure joy. “We should really go back now.” “Hah, okay.” Avery took Spaceboys hand, they had accepted that they weren’t at fault for Spaceboys kidnapping and that it was out of their control, they were just glad that Spaceboy made it. Avery and Spaceboy both walked back to the doors and into the hospital, happily conversing, their bond grew as strong as could be that day.
