and if I said the Thunderbolts are more of a family than the Avengers were
this is exactly what i was thinking during the entirety of thunderbolts!!!
I wanna see Steven Grant and Bob interact 🙏
i watched thunderbolts yesterday night and i am not the same person i was before i sat down in that theater. the mental health representation, the anti heroes banding together, the start of their redemption arcs, yelena's monologue, john walker being (surprisingly and unfortunately) funny, bob's entire character in general, james buchanan barnes (obviously), THE HUG??? someone needs to sedate me before i do something insane like trying to shift into this universe to be friends with everyone as if it's still 2020.
no one:
me and my type:
blond Bob Reynolds’s was such a jumpscared omg
This is what I like to see. there are already “incorrect quotes” for thunderbolts
thunderbolts spoilers btw!!
I also talk about self harm so just be cautious of that as well
I hope I did the expand thing right but idc what anyone says I’m interpreting that one scene in thunderbolts as a allegory/metaphor for self harm. it’s kinda wild that marvel was ballsy enough to do that but they actually depicted the general vibe and emotions that come with it surprisingly well for a superhero movie and it was really cool to see. I’m normally not this serious but it was something that was really sweet to see and it and sweet to see how the whole team was there for him idk it was comforting
ok so actually I’m in love with Bob
so Bob agrees to be a human lab rat because he believes his only worth as a person now is to be a glorified test dummy to advance science, he's stuffed in a box then wakes up with a gun to his head and immediately almost dies but still doesn't blame any of that on the people who put him in the box or the people with the guns, meets the first person in what feels like forever who asks if he's okay because they genuinely care about him, and he immediately sacrifices himself for them, oh his hero complex is SO fucked up. I need five more movies
Mel: (over the phone) “Someone named Bob”
Bucky: (looking at the others) “Bob?”
Yelena, Alexei, Walker & Ava: (in unison) “Bob!”
you will never understand unless you watch Thunderbolts* how fucking hilarious this scene was.

that allegory for depression was the best fucking movie ive seen all year.
