AU where Longtail is chosen to be Firepaw’s mentor. Because Bluestar claims, “they both have a lot to teach eachother,”
At first Longtail is pissed and complains at every moment he can, but soon he becomes super protective of Firepaw and they develop a brotherly bond. Longtail is still rude, but he still feels a close bond with the fat little furball Bluestar bestowed upon him.
I feel like it would make Longtail more likable from the beginning without sacrificing his “being a bit of a dick but still loyal to the clan” attitude. It would mean 10x more to Fireheart when Longtail doesn’t go with Tigerstar and hurt Fireheart 100x more when Longtail is blinded. I just want more positive Long & Fire interaction.
Why wouldn’t ivypool make a good leader?
Like honestly I just can’t get over how weird she was towards twigbranch (or violet shine I can’t tell them apart) and how she treated dovewing during tigerhearts shadow. Like tigerheart going up to her like “yo I know you don’t like me, but dovewing is going through some shit and she needs you.” And ivypool being like “well she’s dating you? So fuck her?” Ivy your sister stuck by you when you were training with evil cats to take over the world just. Just chill. Just put down the personal beef with her bf and talk to your best friend and sister. How the hell is she gonna settle anything as a leader if she can’t put her fucking pride aside to talk to her sister when her sister was literally terrified and about to run away
